The fan who received criticism on social media for being “touchy” with Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu during her concert in Dubai published an explanation to the public.

On June 9, Kim and actor Paolo Avelino visited Dubai as part of the Kalayaan 2024 event.

Some lucky attendees gained the opportunity to climb the stage and interact with the artists during their performances.

One of the attendees was Prince Lee, who could be seen touching Kim’s hips during the performance.

Kim visibly noticed how Prince touched her hips, which some fans believed was why she quickly ended her interaction with the fan.

According to Prince, he didn’t intend to do something inappropriate to Kim during that time.

He also asked Kim for permission to make the gesture.

“Once in a lifetime experience and met Kim Chui, but naging ndi masyadong maganda. Sorry kung ndi maganda ang naging aksyon ko sa stage masyado akong kinabahan and ndi aware na mali pala nagawa ko onstage,” he said.

“Nag ask din ako permission to dance her kaya ako nag bow at inask ung kamay nya. But sorry kung nahawakan ko Skin nya sa bewang,” he added.

He also thanked Kim’s fans for not criticizing him too much.

Talent manager Ogie Diaz disclosed that Bea Alonzo was reportedly dating someone already after the latter broke up with model Dominic Roque.

In his online program, Ogie disclosed rumors about Bea’s new boyfriend.

“How true na may bago nang boyfriend si Bea Alonzo?” said Ogie. “That’s good news! Ibig sabihin, naka-move on na si Bea kasi mayroon na siyang bagong boyfriend. Ni hindi nga natin nabalitaan noong kasagsagan ng panliligaw. Ang nakarating lang sa akin, mayroon na siyang bagong boyfriend,” 

Ogie also received information about the man’s possible identity.

“Parang half-Pinoy, half-foreigner,” he said.

It can be recalled that Bea already confirmed that she had ended her relationship with Dominic after their engagement last year.

However, she clarified that she had not decided to end their relationship.

“Let’s leave it in the past. It’s amicable. OK naman kami. I think it will be disrespectful to the relationship and to the other person to talk about it,” she stated.

Lie Reposposa went viral on social media after documenting her surprise to her mother.

In her Facebook post, Lie could be seen holding a bunch of money that she would give to her parents.

To make it more exciting, Lie handed the bills one by one to her mother while counting them.

It can be recalled that Lie went viral on social media after she criticized her mother for allegedly spreading rumors against her.

A netizen shared her love story with an American serviceman she met in 1972 but became separated a year after he was deployed to another country.

In her Facebook post, Yolly Santiago-Sullenger shared a photo of her first meeting with Joe Sullinger, who was assigned to the Philippines at the time.

However, in 1973, they were forced to end their relationship after Joe was assigned to Japan.

Since then, Yolly has been clueless about what happened to the American serviceman who caught her heart because of the lack of communication medium at that time.

“Year 1972 yung lumang picture at 17years old palang ako Nyan tapos 21 years old naman si Joe. Na assigned sya sa Japan noong 1973 at doon ay nawalan kami ng contact sa isa’t isa, Wala pa nman cellphone noon,” she said.

Due to the help of social media, Yolly successfully reached Joe in 2020 and quickly decided to marry each other.

“After 48 years, nagkaroon muli kami ng contact sa pamamagitan ng Facebook, Nagkita kami, naging engaged at nagpakasal,” she added.

Yolly and Joe were now living happily in the Missouri, United States.

Their story quickly went viral on social media, and they were amazed by how destiny had reconnected them.

Veteran broadcaster Arnold Clavio revealed that he suffered from hemorrhagic stroke, a condition in which only 1 out of 4 people could survive.

In his post, Arnold revealed that on June 11, 2024, he was already on his way home when he felt numbness in his body, but despite his condition, he still tried to drive to the hospital himself.

“Sabi ko, titigil ako sa unang ospital na makikita ko. Kaya mula Antipolo, maingat ako na nag-drive sa Sumulong highway hanggang makarating ako sa Emergency Room ng Fatima University Medical Center,” said Arnold.

“Doon inasikaso ako at after ilang test, lumitaw na ang blood pressure (BP) ko ay nasa 220/120 at ang blood sugar ko ay umabot ng 270 . Inirekomenda na isailalim ako sa CT Scan. Doon nakita na may ‘slight bleeding’ ako sa kaliwang bahagi ng aking utak. At sa oras na yon , ako ay nagkaroon na ng ‘HEMORRHAGIC STROKE’!” he added.

Due to his condition, he was rushed to the St. Lukes Hospital to be observed.

“ARAL: Feeling ok does not mean your ok … Feeling good does not mean we’re good .. Listen to your body .. Traydor ang hypertension ! Always check your BP,” said Arnold.

Colleagues, friends, and celebrities poured Arnold their prayers and wished for his fast recovery.

Ian Veneracion was not happy with the negative comments received by his daughter, Deirdre, who just recently admitted that she was a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

The said comments could be seen in the comments made by some netizens after Deidre was featured in the Pride Month edition of the fashion magazine Preview.

“Seriously, let’s all just cut the b*llsh*t. People should be honored and respected for their compassion, courage, and integrity–not for the choices they make in the privacy of their bedrooms,” said Ian.

“Proud of my daughter for embodying these values. Who she loves is her business,” he added.

It can be recalled that Deidre admitted her identity to Ian when she was still 16.

“Sabi niya ‘Daddy, I have to tell you something.’ Sabi ko, ‘What? Aside from the uncertainty of the financial success of Xian Lim’s movie, “Playtime,” several movie critics already expressed their disappointment towards the film.

One of the movie critics who gave Playtime the lowest rating was Goldwin Reviews, which also described Xian’s character as the weakest among the cast members.

“Imbes na playtime, naging joketime na lang ang palabas na’to,” the film critic wrote.

Meanwhile, Sanya Lopez and Faye Lorenzo received praise from the film critic for their talent.

Several experts already said that Xian’s movie may not receive popularity due to his decision to keep talking about his past relationship with Kim Chiu.

Kim’s fans have already declared that they will boycott every project by Xian.

They also believed that Xian’s openness to talk about his past relationship may be related to his attempt to promote his movie.

Director Darryl Yap revealed the new show that could be a parody of Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime.

In his Facebook post, Darryl revealed their midnight show, titled ‘Shametime,’, which could reference Vice Ganda’s issue with EXpecially For You contestant Axel Cruz.

Last week, Vice was called out on social media for allegedly putting Axel in an embarrassing situation.

“Gusto mo bang Mapahiya? o Gusto mo lang Mamahiya? It’s your Shame It’s your Time Mamahiya na! Its… [Shametime]” Darryl wrote.

Netizens believed that it was Darryl’s response to Vice after the comedian mentioned him on It’s Showtime.

It can be recalled that Vice mentioned Darryl on It’s Showtime due to the resemblance of one of the contestant of the noontime show to the director.

“Yung friend pala nila MC yun, di ba, yung direktor n’yo ng pelikula? Parang ayaw mong umamin?” he said.

Darryl also made a previous response to Vice when the footage went viral on social media.

Bea Alonzo denied rumors that she initiated the breakup during her past relationship with Dominic Roque.

In an interview with GMA News, Bea Alonzo dispelled misconceptions about her past and clarified that Dominic offered to end their relationship.

She also refused to talk more about her past relationship, believing it would be disrespectful.

“That’s false. Hindi ako ang nakipag-break.  Pero huwag na nating pagusapan yun. Let’s leave it in the past. It’s amicable. Okay naman kami,” she said.

“It would be disrespectful to the relationship and the other person to talk about it. It’s a very sensitive topic and gusto kong bigyan ng respeto at gusto kong iwan sa magandang paraan what we had.” she added.

Trina Candaza talked about her separation from Carlo Aquino in an interview with Ogie Diaz.

In the said interview, Trina shared her experiences and thoughts after she ended her relationship with Carlo, who’s now married to Charlie Dizon.

According to her, she couldn’t hide her emotions when her child, Mithi, was looking for her father.

Trina also said that she attempted to fix her relationship with Carlo.

“Of course po Mama Ogs, kasi gusto kong mag-work, eh. So kailangan kong i-address yung issue namin. Gusto kong i-work out yung relationship namin. I tried naman eh pero hindi ko na kaya,” she said.

“Nasa sa akin na lang to kung gusto kong ituloy tong pagkabuo ng pamilya namin o hindi. Dedepende siya kung kaya kong tanggapin na lang na ganu’n. I tried.. I tried na tanggapin na lang na ganun na baka hindi ako enough, kaya ganun. Kasi hindi naman ako perfect. Kaso hindi ko kaya eh, kaya nagdecide ako na umalis,” she added.

Trina also advised other women to stop pursuing their partners if they’re already unhappy with their relationships.

“Kung may pinupuntahan na agad na babae.. wag na kayo umasang magbabago pa yung jowa niyo na sakit sa ulo,” she stated.
