Janella Salvador opened the possibility of having a ‘Girls Love’ or GL drama together with his former Darna co-star Jane de Leon.

It can be recalled that their chemistry was highlighted again after they were featured in the music video for “Hey You.”

According to Janella, the music video of her single was her gift to the LGBTQIA community who were rooting for the JaneNella tandem.

“Hey You” video, they give their fans who waited for two years a sweet love story — one that traces the start of a relationship from their school days and showcases scenes of sapphic yearning, the highs and lows of being girlfriends. It ends in a scene of normalcy and domesticity — a couple resting together at night, their lips meeting in an almost-kiss. The video concludes with the message: “Love is love, regardless of who it finds.” she said.

Janella said that she didn’t show any direct kissing scenes in the movie for several reasons.

However, if they were given a chance to have a GL project, fans may see what they really wanted.

“Alam kong maraming naiinis na hindi natuloy ‘yung kiss sa video. Pero there’s a reason behind that,” she said.

“Bigyan niyo muna kami ng GL, para mag-kiss kami. I hope this opens doors for us,” she added.

It can be recalled that in 2015, Janella was already suspected of being attracted to females after she faced controversy due to her alleged special relationship with a female staff of ABS-CBN circulated.

However, Janella denied that she had any relationship with the said staff.

Ronnie Liang’s camp addressed the public after a video of him interacting with former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque went viral on social media.

The video shows a brief moment between Liang and Roque, where the latter joked about the artist showing his topless body to their fans.

“Maya-maya tignan natin kung mapapa-topless natin si Ronnie Liang,” Roque said while laughing.

“Ako magta-topless ako,” he added.

In a statement, Atty. Rafael Vicente Calinisan set the record straight that his client and Roque did not have a personal relationship.

“We would like to clarify that our client, Mr. Ronnie Liang has no ‘personal dealings’ with Atty. Harry Roque. Ronnie was in Dinagat Island last July 2022 to distribute relief goods for the victims of Typhoon Odette. He was with the Philippine Army where he is a reservist. Ronnie only chanced upon Atty. Calisan’s statement was their response to the netizens who were linking Liang to Roque.

The netizens were questioning Roque due to his connections with his former executive assistant, who’s a former winner of Mister Supranational.

“Para malinaw, si Ronnie Liang ay hindi po “alaga” ni Harry Roque tulad ng ibig pakahulugan ng ilan. The daughter of Romeo Pastrana, a.k.a Dagul, made a statement after her father was no longer included in the Kapamilya program ‘Goin Bulilit.

In a post she published on social media, Jkhriez Pastrana clarified that her father was now in a good condition following his hospitalization.

According to her, she accepted that her father was no longer chosen to be part of ‘Goin Bulilit, but she denied that the producer hadn’t chosen Dagul to return due to his health condition.

“Gusto ko lang I clear sa inyo na hindi ako malungkot dahil wala si papa sa “Goin’ Bulilit,” nalulungkot lang ako sa mga isyu na lumalabas and Okay lang sa akin na wala si papa sa Goin’Bulilit,” she said.

It can be recalled that social media personality Renz Joshua Baña, a.k.a. “Baby Giant,” was chosen to replace Dagul’s part in the new generation of ‘Goin Bulilit.

In a past interview, Dagul shared how difficult it is for him to work due to his condition.

“Siguro hindi na kaya ng bigat ng katawan ko,” he said. “Out [of] balance talaga. Kumbaga sa kandila parang nauupos na.”

Dagul wanted his daughter to follow suit and enter the showbiz industry, but until today, there was no news about whether she would be involved in any projects.

Ogie Diaz confirmed that Rosmar Tan was talking to someone who was only pretending to be Jiro Manio.

In a Facebook post, Ogie reacted to Rosmar’s post, saying she was talking to Jiro about a project.

As of writing, Rosmar has yet to give her response to Ogie’s post.

On June 21, 2024, Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga 2023 candidate Geneva Lopez was declared missing after her relatives and friends had been failing to reach her by phone for more than 24 hours already.

She was reportedly last seen traveling together with her Israeli boyfriend to Tarlac.

Sarah Balabagan-Sereno couldn’t hide her disappointment towards her relatives in the Philippines.

In her Facebook post, Sarah shared a video published by an OFW content creator who complained about how her parents claimed her house without permission.

SARAH’S RIFT WITH HER SIBLING:

In her social media post, Sarah revealed that her youngest child, Stephen, was being held by her brother, who took care of the kid when she decided to travel to America to marry her now husband, Jun Sereno.

She was supposed to go home, but her sudden wedding to Stephen prompted her to stay in America and petition her children to become an American resident.

However, she failed to petition Stephen as he was still too young to travel at that time.

Sarah said that she was supposed to hire a nanny for Stephen, but her older brother insisted that he would take care of her youngest.
