May karapatan ba?

Atty. Randolph Libayan of the social media channel ‘Batas Natin’ talked about the possible rights of Francesca Rait to the properties left by Francis Magalona if ever she proved her paternity.

During one of the episodes of his online show, Libayan answered some of the inquiries of his followers, who were curious if Francesca would ever have a chance to get a piece of her alleged father’s estate.

Libayan said that if Francesca proved her paternity, a part of Francis’ inheritance would be automatically hers.

“Kunwari kung sa’yo ay 15 percent, lahat ng ari-arian ni Francis M, mayroon kang 15 percent… Meron siyang karapatan,” said Libayan.

The lawyer also said that Francesca would still get some of the inheritance from Francis’ estate even if it were already distributed to his other children.

“Kasi nga magiging invalid ‘yung transfer because there’s no valid transfer if you have no rights to transfer the particular property, ano ang ibig ko sabihin dito, ibig sabihin niyan kunwari dalawa kayong anak, wala na kayong magulang namatay pareho, 50-50 kayo ‘yung isang lalake dahil siya ay gahaman ang isa niyang kapatid hindi mo alam na may property pa pala na naiwan ‘yung mga magulang niyo, ang ginawa niya in-approriate niya lang sa sarili niya, ang ginawa niya siya ay ni-transfer niya, gumawa siya ng declaration of sole heir sinabi niya na ‘ako lang ‘yung anak wala ng iba’. Tapos ni-transfer niya ‘yung mga properties sa kanya illegal ‘yon” he said.

It can be recalled that Abegail Rait said that they didn’t receive any properties after Francis’ passing, and she raised their daughter alone.

It’s not yet known if Abegail would try to prove the paternity of her daughter via a DNA test.

Atty. Libayan talks about Francis and Pia Magalona’s wedding issue

Celebrity lawyer Atty. Ranny Randolf B. Libayan discussed the wedding issue of Francis and Pia Magalona.

It can be recalled that former producer Robby Tarroza claimed that Pia was already married to her first partner even before she met Francis, so the former believed the master rapper was technically single.

However, aside from his statements, Robby didn’t show any documents that would prove that Pia was indeed married to her first partner.

Libayan talked about the possible scenarios and the legality of Pia’s wedding to Francis in Hong Kong.

According to Libayan, if Pia was indeed married, her marriage with Francis was considered invalid in the Philippines.

However, if Pia’s rumored wedding with her partner abroad were declared void, her marriage with Francis would be considered ‘valid.’

“Pero ang issue diyan kung merong kasal doon [sa abroad] at naparehistro tapos hindi ‘yun nadeclare na void, before nagkaroon ng kasal illegal parin ‘yung kasal nila. Why? Because the Supreme Court said that for the purposes of remarriage dapat magkaroon ng declaration of nullity of marriage,” said Libayan.

Pia and Francis’ wedding would also considered legal if the Philippine Law didn’t recognize the former’s union with her partner abroad.

He also said that if Pia and Francis’ wedding in Hong Kong were not registered in the Philippines, it would also considered invalid.

If Pia and Francis were not married, she would also lose her rights to an inheritance, and only the children of the master rapper would receive a part of his estate.

“Kung walang asawang lehitimong asawa si Francis M, ang lehitimong magmamana lang ay ang mga anak niya, all in equal shares,” he stated.

There would also be a possibility that Francis and Pia were indeed married if their children were carrying the ‘Magalona’ surname, as they would not get the last name of their father if their parents were not legally wed.

It can be recalled that only in 2004 did the law allow children born out of wedlock to carry the surname of their father.

Julius Babao talked about the money earned by Abegail Rait from selling the jersey she received from Francis Magalona during their alleged relationship.

Abegail successfully sold the jersey for P500,000 on ‘Pinoy Pawnstars,’ and it is currently displayed as one of the collections of the show’s producer, Jayson ‘Boss Toyo’ Luzadas.

Some netizens asked how Abegail would spend the money she got from selling the jersey.

Additional questions arose after Abegail announced she was running from the Barangay elections.

During an interview with Bandera, Julius said that Abegail’s alleged daughter to Francis, Gaile Francesca, benefited from the money.

Julius didn’t elaborate on how Francesca used the money.

It can be recalled that some critics of Abegail were asking her if she would use the money she earned for her candidacy as Barangay Kagawad.

Some netizens pointed out that running for public office required money so they could campaign effectively.

However, some experts said that the spending required to launch a campaign for barangay election was very small compared to running for Sangguniang Bayan position or higher.

Commission on Elections (COMELEC) also set the limit a candidate could spend per voter to P5.

Ang daldal kasi! Dr. Richard Mata reminds Ricci Rivero about gentleman’s code

Celebrity Pediatrician Dr. Richard Mata made his reaction to the statements made by Ricci Rivero about his past relationship with Andrea Brillantes.

In an interview on the radio show Marites University, Ricci claimed that Andrea urged him several times for a reconciliation. Still, the basketball player said that he refused it.

“Hindi naman ako nagsasalita nung mga nakakasama at kausap din silang iba sa bars. Pumupunta siya ng condo ko nang madaling araw ilang beses for what? Para makipagbalikan. Nag yes ba ako? Hindi, kasi ayoko na and sinabi ko yan sa kanya paulit-ulit so I am the bad person here for not publicly telling everyone that I am single. She asked me not to let people know muna kasi baka masira ang image niya tapos nung hindi ako pumayag makipagbalikan, sisiraan na ako bigla,” he stated.

In a Facebook post, Dr. Richard said it was understandable that Andrea would try to fix her relationship with Ricci.

However, he believed that it was not proper for Ricci as a man to talk a lot about his private issues with his ex-girlfriend.

“Normal po yung babae na gustong makipagbalikan, hindi normal yung lalake na pina public ang issue. May gentleman’s code din po tayo,” the doctor said.

The comment made by the doctor received thousands of reactions from the netizens.

“Feeling nila poging pogi na cla nun pg gusto ng babae mkipagbalikan. Galing mo doc,” netizen Irene said.

“It takes a man to make other man realize that they should also be gentleman enough not to talk about it. Galing talaga ni doc,” netizen Rochelle remarked.

Tinago talaga! Julius Babao says that Francis Magalona didn’t sign Francesca birth certificate

Julius Babao admitted that he didn’t gather any proof that Francesca Rait was really a daughter of Francis Magalona.

It can be recalled that Julius had a one-on-one interview with Francesca, and they talked about her personal life and thoughts about the master rapper.

While Julius believed that Francesca resembled Francis, the Rait family failed to present documents that would prove their claims.

Julius also shared that there was no indicated father on Francesca’s birth certificate, a hint that Francis had refused to recognize the latter.

“Kamukhang-kamukha talaga tinanong ko ‘yung birth certificate, e, hindi naman daw Magalona ang gamit nu’ng anak at hindi rin pumirma si Francis,” said Julius during an interview with Bandera.

Francesca’s mother, Abegail Rait, made a huge revelation last week about her alleged relationship with Francis before he passed away in 2009.

Several old photos showed Francis while he took care of Francesca when she was still a baby.

Abegail also insisted that she was not seeking an inheritance and only wanted to fulfill her daughter’s dream of becoming an artist like her father.

As of writing, the Magalona family has still refused to give any comment on the claims made by Abegail.

The authorities made a huge revelation about the case of the missing Miss Grand Philippines 2023 Candidate Catherine Camilon.

According to Police Regional Office 4A, they revealed that one of the persons of interest in the disappearance of Camilon was a police officer who allegedly had a relationship with the beauty queen.

The Camilon family said they discovered that their missing relative had a relationship with the police officer, whom the organization didn’t name.

PNP already removed the said officer as part of their investigation.

“The removal of the police officer from his position is essential to ensure that the investigation remains free from potential influence and guarantees a fair and thorough examination of the case,” PRO4A Acting Regional Director Brigadier General Paul Kenneth Lucas said.

However, the PNP asked the public not to speculate too quickly and let the authorities do their job.

“We request everyone to refrain from speculating or disseminating unverified information. We will keep the media and the public informed as the investigation unfolds, and we will do everything in our power to find answers regarding this incident,” he said.

Camilon was already missing for two weeks.

Ai-Ai delas Alas slams Barley company for claiming that she was hospitalized: “Ginagawan n’yo ako ng sakit. Walanghiya!”

Comedian Ai-Ai delas Alas expressed discomposure after she was featured in an advertisement for a health supplement without her permission.

In her Facebook post, Ai-Ai informed her fans that she was not endorsing any product and criticized how the company tried to portray that their supplement cured her.

She was referring to an ad that showed her lying on a hospital bed, which was taken in one of her projects.

According to her, the company made it look like she was treated for a health problem, and the product saved her from hospital bills.

Celebrity doctor Willie Ong was also used in the said campaign.

“Mga walanghiya kayo. Buwisit kayo talaga eh. Mga kampon kayo ni Satanas,” said Ai-Ai.

Diyusko ‘day. Anong klaseng mga tao ba kayo?” she added.

It’s unknown if Ai-Ai would file charges against the company that used her to promote its products.

Francis Magalona fan writes open letter to Abegail Rait: “Respect the First and Original Family!”

A fan of Francis Magalona couldn’t hide her disappointment towards Abegail Rait, a woman who claimed to be the last partner of the master rapper.

In her Facebook post, Sheryl Frank said that even if Abegail kept her silence for 15 years, it would not change the truth that she was the other woman of Francis.

According to her, the fact that Francis didn’t reveal his relationship with Abegail in public meant that she was still a paramour of the former Eat Bulaga host.

“Well that’s we all thought. 15 years later after he passed, here come a woman who claimed to be his other significant other when he was still alive. A woman who had a guts to claimed that the relationship that they shared was real and he loved them as much. That other people can judge her but 15 years was enough to kept her silence. The nerve of this woman,” she said.

“Girls.. whether a MARRIED man tells you and show you how much he loves, how much he cares, if he kept you and hid you.. You are nothing but a Mistress!! It will never and ever be right to be with someone who is Legally and Officially Married to someone else! Never ever try to hurt other woman for the sake of your own happines.. Don’t become the reason of other woman misery..I know that the child has the right to be known as his daughter but I don’t understand why some women in social media defending this other woman here..just because Francis M is dead, doesn’t give him the right to be in favor,” she added.

She urged Abegail to respect the Magalona family and stop talking about her relationship with Francis.

“I repeat.. Regardless of circumstances..Being Other woman is WRONG, VERY WRONG,” she stated.

It could be recalled that even Francis’ former publicist, Pilar Mateo, said that the Magalona family was disappointed by Abegail’s appearance in public.

Ricci Rivero’s video while shouting at a fan resurfaced on social media

As Ricci Rivero faced criticism after his separation from Andrea Brillantes, some netizens recalled one of the biggest controversies the newly drafted PBA player faced.

In 2018, Ricci, who was a member of Gilas Cadets, went viral on social media and received a tremendous amount of negative comments from netizens after he was recorded after their frustrating loss during a basketball game against Dela Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers.

While entering the dugout, Ricci was approached by a female fan who asked him for a selfie.

However, Ricci suddenly shouted at the fan.

“Pwede mamaya na?!” Ricci said.

The fan was later escorted away from Ricci.

Ricci then approached a cross and started to pray solemnly.

Some netizens found the acts done by Ricci on the video as peculiar.

After the incident, Ricci released a statement to apologize to the female fan and to the public, explaining that he was only disappointed by the result of the game.

“I had a bad game, it was frustrating loss. This was during my first game out of and against La Salle. Dugouts are our only private place to pour our emotions seconds after an important game, ’twas just the most inapproriate time and place for a self. Hence, I still own up to this unacceptable behavior,” Ricci said.

“To the girl in the video and to all that are affected and are disappointed, I am a work in progress and I sincerely apologize for my imperfections. Thank You po,” he added.

FPJ’s Batang Quiapo star Ricardo Cepeda insisted that he was innocent and confident that he would be a freeman again soon.

In an interview with Julius Babao, Ricardo said that he was surprised when his name was included on the charges filed by several investors against SPVTOP International Inc., which a certain Brick Agcopra owned.

According to several reports, the company offered their investors a 96% annual interest, which was already considered too good to be true profit.

Ricardo said he didn’t even know the investors were charging him.

He met Agcopra on a group chat of Philippine Military Academy (PMA) cadets, saying that the company’s CEO was one of the most generous donors of their outreach projects.

“Very helpful siya, minsan nahihiya ako kasi ako nagdo-donate ng P2,000, P5,000, minsan P10,000 biglang siya magdo-donate ng 40-50 thousand kagad so sabi ko very successful siya, but very generous,” he narrated.

The actor said that after a year, Agcopra reached him and asked him to be part of the company, which he thought was only selling cellular load and, later on, newly invented products.

“Sabi niya ‘kailangan kita as a endorser or brand ambassador, so ang gagawin mo lang kapag nandito tayo sa mga business meetings you just say your experience’ so he gave me samples muna, [sabi niya] try mo muna, if you like them then we will talk’ e talaga namang effective,” he stated.

Ricardo was impressed by the products, including the electric saver, so he accepted the offer to become a brand ambassador.

The only thing he knew was the company was offering potential investors to build a branch of their store, and they would supply the products for them.

“Some is going to open a regional branch, siya ‘yung kukuha ng bultong products and siya ‘yung mag distribute so he gets bigger discounts,” he remarked.

He was informed later that SPVTOP started to raise funds to boost the production of their inventions, but only for selected people.

Several months later, he heard some news that many people were already demanding to receive their profits from the money they invested in the company. Still, he never thought that he would be included in the charges.

“I don’t work for the company. I don’t go to the office na papasok ako,” he insisted.

Ricardo expressed his frustration as he was forced to spend money to defend himself despite no evidence against him.

He also encouraged the officers of SPVTOP to surrender and talk to their investors.
