The Tarlac City Police said that they would respect the wish of the driver involved in the fatal incident at the Tarlac City Toll Plaza in SCTEX, who refused to undergo a drug test.

In an interview, the Chief of Tarlac City Police, PltCol. Romel Santos said they cannot force the driver to undergo the procedure.

He also explained that they were focused on the possible charges that the driver may face in relation to the incident and not on his alleged drug use.

“Hindi daw po siya pumayag na magpa drug test, so on our part ang concern po namin dito is we are looking at a criminal aspect of the offense by the suspect, so we will not after that drug test,” Santos said.

Santos said that other agencies may proceed with the test.

He also clarified that it was not required for the PNP to take the suspect to a drug test.

Ten people perished during the incident, while 37 others reportedly survived.

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) also put 15 of the company’s buses under preventive suspension.

The Land and Transportation Office (LTO) ordered the controversial female motovlogger to appear before their office to explain why her license must not be suspended or revoked.

The motovlogger, Alynna Mari Aguinaldo, also known as Yanna Motovlog, was facing multiple charges after she recorded and posted her encounter with a motorist during one of her travels.

The argument started when Aguinaldo raised her middle finger to the motorist identified as Jimmy Pascua.

Aguinaldo also accused Pascua of driving recklessly, but the latter argued that it would be difficult for him to operate his vehicle flawlessly on a rough road.

The motovlogger was charged for violating Reckless Driving, Use of Number Plates, and Motor Vehicle Operating Without or With Defective/Improper/Unauthorized Accessories, Devices, Equipment, and Parts.

Her driver’s license was also suspended for 90 days and placed under alarm.

According to the LTO Chief, Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II, Yanna could lose her license if she fails to defend herself.

“Matagal na tayong nagpapaliwanag sa milyon-milyong nating mga kababayang motorista na walang mabuting idinudulot ang init ng ulo sa kalsada—at napakarami na ang naparusahan natin dito,” said Asec Mendoza.

“On the part of this vlogger, she should have used her social media influence to promote responsible driving and road safety,” he added.

Filipino motovlogger Yanna published a statement following the backlash she received on social media after her argument with a driver went viral on social media.

In a Facebook post, Yanna revealed that she went to Zambales again to look for the motorist she had argued with, but she failed to talk to him.

The motorist, identified as Jimmy Pascua, was reportedly preparing to file charges against Yanna for allegedly invading his privacy after she posted his face and plate number on social media.

The motovlogger reportedly earned hundreds of dollars from posting the said video.

“Earlier, di po namin naabutan si Kuya Jimmy Pascua in his house, and in his work to personally apologize, so I would like to take this opportunity to say sorry to Kuya Jimmy for what I’ve cost,” she said.

“Of course, as well as to those people who got dragged into the issue,” she added.

Yanna admitted that the incident would be a lesson for her to become more careful with what she was posting on social media and how she would handle issues with other motorists.

“I promise to be more patient next time, especially on the road,” she stated.

Meanwhile, the Land and Transportation Office (LTO) already ordered a summon against Yanna to explain why her license should not be revoked after her actions.

The driver who was involved in a traffic-rule argument with a female motovlogger was not planning to withdraw the charges he was planning to file against the latter.

In a Facebook post, the driver, Jimmy Pascua, and his family announced their intention to file multiple charges against motovlogger Yanna for allegedly defaming him and posting their encounter on social media without his permission.

According to some legal experts, Yanna may have committed a privacy violation against Pascua.

Yanna returned to Zambales to talk personally to Pascua, but she failed to meet the latter.

Meanwhile, Harry James Pascua, who introduced himself as the son of the driver, said that they wanted to teach the motovlogger a lesson.

“Hinding-hindi po kami magpapa-areglo. Grabe pong kahihiyan ang binigay mo sa Papa ko ma’am. Tinanggalan mo siya ng dignidad! Dapat po sa inyo ay maturuan ng leksyon,” he said.

JV Ejercito, tinapos ang katahimikan sa pagkakasangkot ng motovlogger sa away sa daan

Senator JV Ejercito ended his silence after his name was dragged into the controversy being faced by a motovlogger who went viral on social media after arguing with a motorist.

Several days ago, Yanna Moto Vlog gained notoriety after she recorded an encounter with a motorist, in which she was seen raising her middle finger and accusing the driver of the vehicle she was overtaking of swerving.

Netizens quickly suspected that Ejercito was included in Yanna’s riding group, as he was tagged in one of the motovlogger’s posts.

In a Facebook post, Ejercito denied being part of Yanna’s riding group at the time of the confrontation.

“Linawin ko lang po, hindi kami magkasama sa ride mismo ni Yanna. Nagtagpo lamang sa Coto Mines dahil sa event na Moto Camping. Hindi nga kami nakapag-usap masyado maliban sa picture taking na nung kina-umagahan,” said Ejercito.

Ejercito also reminded the motorcycle rider community that they must learn how to be forgiving when on the road.

A motovlogger was set to face charges after she posted her argument with a motorist during her travel in Zambales.

In the video, Yanna Moto Vlog, she raised her middle finger to the motorist and accused him of swerving and not checking his side mirror as she tried to overtake.

The motorist argued that he hadn’t swerved, and the rough road had caused his car’s movements.

The incident led to several motovloggers criticizing Yanna due to her attitude.

Even senatorial candidate Bonifacio Bosita, a motorcycle safety advocate, said that the motovlogger committed several mistakes during the incident.

“Pasensya na kahit pro-rider tayo, ang mali dito ay babae, umovertake siya sa kanan na hindi dapat. Hindi rin niya ininform si driver ng pick up na gamit ang busina na nag-o-overtake siya, ang problema blindspot ‘yung overtake, masyadong malapit o dikit na sa pickup kaya di na nakita ng driver,” said Bosita.

Meanwhile, the motorist’s relatives also mulled charges against Yanna.

There’s also a copy of an ordinance circulating on social media, showing that the province of Zambales was allegedly planning to declare the motovlogger persona non grata.

However, as of writing, the information has yet to be confirmed.

We are trying to reach Yanna about her response to the possible legal charges against her, but she has yet to respond to our messages.

The man who went viral after being choked by a security guard who chased him finally ended his silence after the incident went viral, one year after the original video was uploaded.

In his post, Christian Sariol debunked the rumors that he was severely injured after being choked by the guard.

He also said that he had already faced the consequences of his actions.

“Totally matagal na ‘yong video na ‘yon. So ‘yung video na ‘yon pinost ‘yon before pero hindi siya nag-viral,” Sariol said. “So ‘yung time na ‘yon, na-detain ako ng one month. Napagdusahan ko na ‘yong ginawa ko na ‘yon,”

“So ngayon guys, hihingi lang ako ng kaunting opinyon sa inyo para about do’n sa nanakal sakin,” he added.

Sariol grew his following after his incident went viral, and now labels himself as ‘boy sakal.’

“Hindi lahat ng nagkamali masama. Minsan, naligaw lang… at ang second chance, ‘yun ang ilaw pabalik sa tamang daan,” he stated.

It can be recalled that Sariol was chased by the security guard as he was already being monitored by the convenience store after he allegedly stole from the establishment several times.

The guard insisted that he only choked Sariol to restrain him as the latter was not cooperating with them.

The security guard who went viral on social media after choking a man who allegedly stole several items in a convenience store defended himself from the criticism and false information circulating about the incident.

In his post, the security guard said that the convenience store was already monitoring the man he choked, as he had been caught stealing items many times.

The incident happened last year, but the video only went viral this week.

According to him, it was already the third or fourth time that the man committed the same illegal act.

The guard insisted that it was his job to protect the items from the convenience store, as they were the ones shouldering the expenses for every stolen item.

“Ang rule sa convenience store, ang item na mawawala sa buong buwan na ito, ang magbabayad niyan ay empleyado,” the security guard said.

He admitted that he intentionally choked the suspect to restrain him, but he didn’t mean to harm the latter.

The security guard also insisted that the man had no intention to surrender himself and attempted to run as far as he could from the people who were chasing him.

It can be recalled that the security guard was facing criticism on social media after a disinformation claim that the man he choked passed away circulated on social media.

However, it was proven that the man was alive and well.

A man who went viral on social media after being choked by a security guard who chased him was reportedly alive.

According to the report, the man was caught stealing goods from a popular convenience store, which resulted in a short chase.

A video published on social media showed that the security guard restrained the man who was visibly already tired from running and handcuffed him.

After the incident, several reports claimed that the man passed away due to the force of the choke, which resulted in a broken spinal cord.

“Nakakalungkot na balita ayon sa nakalap natin impormasyon namatay yung payat na nakaputi dahil sa pagkabale ng leeg at spinal damage na naka konekta sa batok pinaghahanap na ang pulisya ang securuty guard ng isang establisyemento na pinagtatrabahuhan nya,” according to a Facebook post.

However, the news was debunked by netizens Paula Morillo, who confirmed that the man was alive and under the custody of the authorities.

“Wag kayo basta basta naniniwala sa kumakalat na balita, na patay na yung lalaking nag viral na sinakal. Ayan siya buhay na buhay haha. And also, last year pa ho nangyari yung video na yun at hindi tanod ng barangay yung sumakal kay kuya. Wag basta basta maniwala sa mga kumakalat na balita sa social media hehe,” she stated.
