Eldrew Yulo, the brother of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, couldn’t control his emotions while discussing their family’s issues.

In an interview with Business Mirror, Eldrew said he only wanted his brother to bond with them.

He said he didn’t seek his brother’s money and didn’t care if the latter won a gold medal.

“Yung love niya samin, his family. Sobrang saya namin sa achievements niya, pero ang habol lang talaga namin is siya,” he stated.

“After all may napatunayan na siya right, wala na kaming paki kung mag-saya kayo diyan, hindi na namin kayo guguluhin ng girlfriend mo, may napatunayan ka na. Ang gusto lang namin is bumalik ka samin,” he added.

He also couldn’t stop his emotions when he addressed his brother.

“Ito nalang regalo mo sakin, hindi ko kailangan ng pera or kahit ano,” said Eldrew. “Kasi kaya kong i-earn ‘yan.

As of writing, Carlos has yet to give his response to his family.

However, the Olympic gold medalist already confirmed his intention to meet with his father soon.

Former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson said that he would give P5,000,000 to two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo if he agreed to accept the money together with his family.

In a statement, Singson said he offered the deal to help Carlos reunite with his family and discuss their differences.

Singson also clarified that he was not giving P5-M to Carlos because of his gold medal but to become a bridge to fix the athlete’s family.

Hindi [dahil] sa panalo niyang gold sa [Olympics], more on sa pamilya,” he said.

“Kasi nararamdaman ko ‘yung… Masakit sa ama na aawayin ka ng anak mo at ‘di man lang sila inimbita,” he added.

The businessman also felt it would be difficult for Yulo to face his mother due to their issues.

However, Singson said that he still would be satisfied even if Carlos’ father were the only one to appear during the presentation of P5-M.

Honor thy father and mother, ‘di ba?” he added.

He also urged Carlos to forgive his mother.

It can be recalled that Carlos’ family feud with his family became publicized after Mrs. Yulo allegedly refused to support her son based on her Facebook posts.

The issue escalated after Carlos claimed that his parents ‘zeroed’ his bank accounts.

However, Carlos’ parents were pointing their fingers at the gymnast’s girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, who allegedly caused all the problems in their family.

Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo vowed to fulfill his promise to thank his former Japanese coach, Munehiro Kugimiya, who molded him into a world-class gymnast.

In an interview during the Thanksgiving mass organized by the Philippine Embassy in Paris, France, Yulo addressed Coach Mune and thanked him for making his dream of becoming an Olympic gold medalist a reality.

Carlos also said he was planning to fly to Japan in the upcoming months to visit his former coach and present his gold medal.

“Early November we will go to Japan to thank Coach Mune and not only Coach Mune, the university and all the officials that are helpful… that they sponsored him, especially the school. It’s just a short visit to say thank you and then go back,” he stated.

It’s unknown whether Carlos would ask Coach Mune to train him again since the Filipino athlete was planning to join the Olympics in 2028, possibly with his brother Karl Eldrew.

It can be recalled that Thailand already tapped the Japanese coach to train their gymnastics representatives.

Three gymnasts representing the Philippines in the women’s gymnastics of the 2024 Paris Olympics were surprised after being informed about the Heroes’ Welcome held in Malacanang on August 13, 2024.

It can be recalled that the Heroes’ Welcome was held to honor the athletes who represented the Philippines in the Olympics. Still, some eagle-eyed netizens noticed that three athletes were not seen during the event.

The said athletes, Aleah Finnegan, Emma Malabuyo, and Levi Ruivivar, who formerly represented the USA but chose to compete under the Philippine flag, confirmed that they were not informed about the ceremony.

“We were not informed of the event,” said Aleah.

“I wanted to go but they didn’t tell me about it,” Emma stated

In the Heroes’ Welcome, Malacanang granted cash incentives to all athletes, even those without medals.

It’s not known if the three would also receive P1-M, the incentive granted to non-medal athletes.

As of writing, Malacanang has yet to give their comment on the issue.

A business owner and hair stylist urged Carlos Yulo to marry Chloe San Jose and leave the Philippines for good.

In his comment, Kenn said that it would be better for Carlos to represent Australia instead as he might be more appreciated in the said country than the Philippines where people were feasting on his private life.

Ikaw ang victim, pero parang ikaw pa ginagawang masama,” he said.

Pakasalanan mo GF mo, dun kayo sa Australia,” he added.

The post received thousands of reactions from the netizens who also believed it would be the right time to leave the Philippines as he was being unappreciated in the country.

It’s unknown if Carlos would finally propose to Chloe since he could be considered financially stable after receiving millions of pesos in rewards after winning two Olympic gold medals.

Carlos Yulo may mensahe sa kanyang ama matapos siyang salubungin nito sa parada

Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo addressed his father via social media after the latter made an effort to welcome his son during the Heroes’ parade held in Manila on August 14, 2024.

In his Facebook post, Carlos thanked his father for his effort and even confirmed that he would meet him soon.

“Maraming salamat Pa, masaya ako nakita kita don nakasuporta! Pasensya na pa hindi ako masyado nakakaway, ang daming nagpa authograph hehe,” he said.

“Kitakits soon pa,” he added.

It can be recalled that Mark Andrew and other members of the Yulo family didn’t appear on Carlos’ arrival to the Philippines yesterday. Because of this, some members of Carlos’ family, including his grandfather couldn’t stop himself but to be disappointed.

The cause of their absence may be attributed to the family feud between Carlos and his mother, Angelica Yulo.

To end their misunderstanding, Mr. Yulo urged Carlos to talk to them.

Dionesia Pacquiao, the mother of eight-division world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, advised two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo.

Carlos was currently facing several issues after his family problems were publicized on social media.

It can be recalled that Carlos claimed that his parents ‘zeroed’ his bank accounts without his permission.

The athlete then decided to distance himself from his family and stay with his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose.

Dionesia was one of the people following the issue and couldn’t help but give motherly advice to the athlete.

In a video, she urged Carlos to love his mother, Angelica Yulo.

In a past interview, Manny Pacquiao revealed that the start of his relationship with his wife, Jinkee, was not easy as Dionesia also didn’t like the latter.

Manny’s story could be compared to Carlos as Mrs. Yulo also disliked Chloe.

However, the People’s Champ said that he didn’t give up on building a bridge between his mother and wife, which proven to be successful.

Carlos Yulo’s grandfather, Rodrigo Frisco, was not attempting to see his grandchild again after they were barred from welcoming the two-time Olympic gold medalist yesterday.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Rodrigo said that he would stay at home instead of going to Rizal Memorial Stadium, where Carlos was expected to arrive together with other Olympic athletes.

Rodrigo, who introduced gymnastics to Carlos, shared his realization that they might seen as desperate for the latter’s attention if they insist on seeing his grandchild.

Kaya naisip namin kahit diyan sa float niya, sa parada niya ‘di narin kami pupunta,” he said.

He also said that Carlos’ siblings prefered to spend their time on training instead of attending the event.

It can be recalled that Rodrigo expressed his excitement in the past when he saw his grandchild on his arrival to the Philippines.

However, he was informed that they were not allowed to see Carlos.

Naka-ready na kami,” he said.

Pero si Caloy ata, e.” he added.

Meanwhile, Carlos’ girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, accompanied the athlete to the events.

The nation welcomed two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and other Filipino athletes during the Heroes’ Parade in Manila.

However, one of the parade’s highlights was Carlos’ father, Mark Andrew Yulo’s appearance along Roxas Boulevard.

In a video published by RTVM, Mark Andrew can be seen trying to welcome his son and even preparing a banner to inform Carlos about his father’s presence.

Carlos could be seen waving at his father.

The Yulos were expected to be at Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, the final stop of the parade.

Carlos’ parents were reportedly disallowed from attending yesterday’s Filipino gymnast’s arrival at Villamor Airbase.

They were also absent during the event in Malacanang, where Carlos received the cash incentives and Presidential Medal of Merit.

However, Carlos’ girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, was present at the event.

It can be recalled that Carlos’ gold medal finish was overshadowed by his alleged rift with his parents.

Despite their issues, Mr. Yulo remained calm and repeatedly expressed how proud he was of his son’s achievement.

hiTwo-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo’s grandfather, Rodrigo Frisco, revealed why they didn’t attend the athlete’s arrival on August 13 at Villamor Airbase.

In an interview with ABS-CBN, Rodrigo said he was initially excited, thinking he would finally see his grandchild after several months of not talking or seeing each other.

However, they received a text message from Carlos’ father, Mark Andrew, and told them not to go to the airport.

Naka-ready na kami,” he said.

Pero si Caloy ata, e.” he added.

According to the reports, the athletes were allowed to be welcomed by their families during their arrival, which raised questions about why Carlos’ family was disallowed to attend the event.

In the past interview, Rodrigo repeatedly expressed excitement about seeing his grandchild.

It can be recalled that Rodrigo introduced gymnastics to Carlos.
