Yesterday, the wife of Junel, Lani Insigne, said that she convinced her husband not to meet the President anymore because of their disappointment over the statement of some of his cabinet officials.

They even demanded Duterte to visit Mindoro personally if he wanted to talk with the fishermen.

“Wala ring mangyayari sa kanya doon, anong gagawin niya doon? Katulad niyan binalita na wala naman magaganap na pag pupulong, anong gagawin niya doon?” Mrs. Insigne said.

Malacanang is not yet releasing a statement on the recent decision of Insigne to not meet with the President.

The recent incident that happened in the West Philippine Sea where an alleged Chinese Vessel rammed a Filipino boat full of Filipino fishermen captured not only the attention of the simple Filipino citizens but also celebrities like Enchong Dee.

In his post on Twitter, Enchong Dee said that the incident happened in the Scarborough Shoal is a sign that some countries are not respecting the Philippines anymore.

According to him, the oppression happening in the Scarborough might worsen if the Filipino fishermen being affected by the WPS issue are not going to speak against China.

“Ang liit ng tingin satin ng ibang bansa, mas liliit pa yan pag hinayaan nating manahimik para sa mangingisda natin,” Dee referring to the latest WPS incident.

On Wednesday, 22 Filipinos have been rescued by the Philippine Navy and Vietnamese fishermen after their boat sunk after an encounter with a ship allegedly from China.

Dee is one of the known celebrity critics of the Duterte administration.

He also revealed that he voted for Duterte in the 2016 presidential election, but suddenly became a critic because of the policies implemented by the current administration.

The issue happened in the West Philippine Sea on Wednesday after a Chinese Vessel allegedly sunk a boat full of Filipino fishermen captured the attention by netizens and also famous personalities.

One of the known celebrities who expressed their sympathy to the Filipino fishermen is Bianca Gonzales who said that incident broke her heart.

“The more details that come out from the Pinoy fishermen and China boat incident, mas lalo nakakadurog ng puso.,” Gonzales said in her post.

The post of Gonzales gathered thousands of likes and a mixed reaction from the netizens, including Mark Lopez who told the celebrity that there’s a far more worse incident happened in 2012 in the West Philippine Sea which also involved Chinese and Filipino.

In his tweet, Lopez told Gonzales that in 2012, a Filipino fishermen’s life was loss after an alleged Chinese vessel bumped their boat.

However, in the report posted by Lopez, it said that the Aquino administration didn’t accuse China for what happened to the Filipino fisherman.

Lopez pointed out that Gonzales didn’t make some noise on her Twitter account during the Aquino administration despite what happened in 2012 are worse according to his belief.

“Eh di nung 2012 pala wasak na wasak ang puso mo dahil may nasawing Pilipino nuon? Naglupasay ka ba sa harap ng Malacanang nuon at nag inarte din?” Lopez said.

Lopez even said that Gonzales is only pretending to be “patriotic”.

Duterte vows to raise salary of public school teachers

President Rodrigo Duterte vowed that public school teachers would finally get the salary hike they wanted.

In his speech in Cagayan De Oro on Wednesday, President Duterte explained that salary hike for teachers is harder than raising the wage for soldiers and police because they’re fewer than the educators in the Philippines.

According to him, it’s easier to find funds for raising the salaries of cops and soldiers, compared to teachers. The government pointed out that they need 150-B pesos to fund a 10,000 pesos hike for all public school teachers.

“Remember that there are millions of teachers. There are only a few policemen, something like 160. There are 130 in the military. It’s easier [to find funds for them]. That is why their salaries have been doubled,” Duterte said.

However, once they found a way to get the right funds for the salary hike, the government vowed that they would quickly implement the raise for the public teachers.

“The President is working on that. And hopefully, that can be responded to. Our economic managers are doing everything to see how things can be done,” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said.

Malacanang also reminded the people that the beloved mother of the President was a teacher, an evidence that the chief executive knows the importance of the public educators in the country.

“You must remember that the mother of the President was a teacher and so his heart is with the teachers,”

“Wow yaman!” Joel Apolinario suddenly become rich in just 3 years after founding KAPA

Amid the issue being faced by KAPA Community Ministry International, netizens noticed how Pastor Joel Apolinario, the founder of the said group, suddenly accumulated wealth and founded businesses in just a short period.

In several social media posts, it showed that in 2016, Joel and his wife Reyna Lobitana Apolinario are only living a simple life, but everything suddenly changed when they founded KAPA.

Three years after they founded KAPA, Apolinario who’s a former fisherman and construction worker has already owned businesses like poultries, plantations, gas stations, printing services in different parts of Mindanao.

Apolinario also reportedly owned several fishing boats and vehicles being used for his other businesses.

Aside from businesses, the construction worker-turned-pastor also owned helicopters and luxury vehicles.

Here’s the list of the companies owned by Joel and his wife Reyna according to Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC):

2) JoRey Printing Services – 20 March 2019

3) JoRey Garments Trading – 8 March 2019

10) JoRey Love Bakeshop & Restaurant – 25 Jan. 2018

It was also reported that Apolinario owned a school and hospital in Davao Del Norte.

Several critics of KAPA believed that Apolinario gathered his wealth from luring investors to his religious group, promising a 30% monthly interest.

Meanwhile, KAPA defenders insisted that their religious group could afford to give 30% monthly “blessings” to their 5 million members because of the businesses owned by Apolinario.

According to SEC, the total investment made by the people to KAPA already reached P50-B and they’re sure that the interest being offered by the said religious group was unrealistic.

Presidential sister Jocellyn Duterte to KAPA members: “Kung mapatunayan na legal yan, ako mismo mag invest”

Presidential sister Jocellyn Duterte-Villarica made a suggestion to the members of KAPA Community Ministry International who saddened by the decision of the government to shut down their religious group.

In a post, Mrs. Jocellyn said that people should give President a chance to investigate KAPA because protecting the people including their money is part of his role as the chief executive of the country.

She also clarified that the President only wanted to ensure that the money of the people is being put in the right place.

If KAPA has been proven to be legal, Mrs. Jocellyn said that she’s also going to invest to the religious group to enjoy 30% interest monthly.

“Pag mapatunayan na ang organisasyon na ito ay hindi isang scam, eh di ipagpatuloy… pero… bigyang liwanag muna kung hindi ba ito mauuwi sa wala sa bandang huli.” Villarica said.

“Anong mawawala sa ganitong pamaaraan? Hindi nman sinabi ni Tatay na ipapasara ang kumpanya, itigil muna ang operation at imbestigahan kung paano ang pamamalakad ng kumpanya… makatotohanan ba at legal?” she added.

“Kung mapatunayan yan, ako mismo ang mag-iinvest, sino ba ang hndi gustong kumita? Marami ng scam ang nangyari na, karamihan ang mahihirap at empleyado at retiree ang biktima.”

Mrs. Jocellyn mentioned several companies that also offered high-interest rates like KAPA in the past, but now are gone and made their investors lose money.

The post of the presidential sister already reached 579 shares as of writing.

Several days ago, thousands of KAPA members expressed their disappointment to the government after the President ordered to shut down KAPA.

Some of them even claimed that they already vowed not to support the Dutertes in their future political plans.

Eddie Garcia’s family orders doctor not to CPR the actor once his heart stops working

The family of Eddie Garcia finally decided to put the veteran actor to do-not-resuscitate status.

According to Dr. Tony Rebosa, spokesperson of Eddie Garcia, the relatives of the actor already asked the doctors not to do any Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to their patient once his heart stopped working despite the life support.

However, they denied the reports that they’re already considering to remove the life support of Garcia.

Lilibeth Romero, Garcia’s long-time partner said that they’re still hoping for a miracle to happen.

“Please be informed that the family of Mr. Eddie Garcia has not authorized nor has it consented to withdrawal of life support. They have however agreed to place him on DNR status,” the statement read.

It is the policy of hospitals to perform CPR on all patients whose heart stops suddenly unless a doctor writes an order not to resuscitate (DNR).

Meanwhile, Garcia’s friends and fans are kept doing their prayers for the miraculous recovery of the veteran actor.

Garcia is in a coma since June 8 after he stumbled to a cable wire during a taping for his new television show in GMA-7.

As of writing, Garcia has been on a life support machine at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Makati Medical Center (MCC).

Malacanang gives direction to KAPA members on how they can recover their “investments”

Malacañang gave a suggestion to the members of KAPA Community Ministry International who are worried about the money they invested in the religious group.

In a press conference, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said that there’s still a way for the KAPA members to recover their money by filing a case against Pastor Joel Apolinario and other leaders of the religious group.

According to Panelo, filing a suit against KAPA is the only way for their members to recover the money they invested.

“They should. They should in order to recover [their investments],” Panelo said.

“And so that you will put behind bars those people who have been swindling them,” he added.

Panelo also explained that the people who continued their support to KAPA are the members who already claimed their payout before the issue started.

However, the closure of KAPA should still happen to prevent more people from getting victimized.

“Ang…supportive ‘yung mga nakakuha na ng pera, ‘yung mga nauna. They were able to get that. Hindi nila alam, that was a trap,” he said.

On Monday, the Securities and Exchange Commission announced that they already froze the assets and bank accounts owned by KAPA.

Authorities also confiscated paper bills from their raid in different offices of KAPA.

Meanwhile, SEC Chairman Emilio Aquino declared KAPA as the biggest investment scam in recent history, luring 5 million members.

According to some members of KAPA, they need to donate a minimum amount of P10,000 in exchange of 30% monthly interest.

However, experts doubt that KAPA can sustain having 15-B pesos a month to pay all of their members who invested in their religious group.

Sen. Trillanes sides with KAPA, urges members to file impeachment complaint against President Duterte

KAPA Community Ministry International got an unusual support from a Senator.

On Friday, Senator Antonio Trillanes IV urged KAPA leader Joel Apolinario to file an impeachment complaint against President Rodrigo Duterte for allegedly trying to disband their religious group.

Trillanes pointed out that President Duterte violated the religious freedom of the KAPA members after he ordered the crackdown of the said group.

He also explained that the government doesn’t have the right to disband a religious group despite allegedly using a Ponzi scheme to lure its members to invest or donate to KAPA.

“Para sa mga lider at myembro ng Kapa, mag file ng kasong impeachment laban kay Duterte for culpable violation of the Constitution (i.e. Art. II, Sec. 6) dahil sa pagbaliwala nito sa kanilang religious freedom,” he wrote on Facebook.

“Para sa mga myembro ng Kapa, maaaring mag file ng class suit laban sa gobyerno at kay Duterte pakatapos ng termino nito para mabawi nila ang kanilang mga “na-donate” na pera. Kung mananalo sa kaso, maari ding ipa-garnish ang lahat ng ari-arian ng Duterte,” he said.

Trillanes also urged the government to let KAPA operate and give their members a chance to retrieve their investment.

Trillanes said.

The post of Trillanes went viral on Facebook and the critic of the President received praise from KAPA members who disliked him before.

“I hate trillanes b4 but i like him now,” Randy Oybobolante said.

“I am not a member of KAPA but may sense si Trillianes. Padalos-dalos lang kasi ang desisyon ng presidente kasi kaalyado nya si Quiboloy. Pero sana mas inisip ang kapakanan ng nakakarami.” Lu Enna remarked

Several days ago, President Duterte ordered to close KAPA for allegedly scamming its members.

KAPA promised to return 30% of their “donations” monthly as part of its “blessing” to its members.
