Netizen writes open letter to the critics of Quiboloy: “Noong sinabi ni HESUKRISTO na siya ang Diyos, naniwala ba sila?? HINDI!”

A netizen defended the founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ Pastor Apollo Quiboloy amid the criticisms received by the latter after claiming that he stopped a quake in Mindanao.

In a lengthy post, Dennis Lazarte compared the situation of Quiboloy like Moses, Noah and Jesus Christ, saying that people during those times didn’t even believe the said biblical characters.

According to him, Quiboloy experienced what happened to those biblical characters, saying that he was laughed at and criticized by the people who don’t believe him.

He also asked the netizens why Quiboloy have seven million followers.

Here’s what Lazarte told the netizens:

OUT OF 7 BILLION PEOPLE IN THE WORLD ONLY 7 MILLION WHO BELIEVE AND FOLLOW HIM. Naisip niyo ba ‘yan? Naitanong niyo ba ‘yan? IF NOT, THEN KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!

As of writing, the post already reached 1,400 shares on social media, however, most of the comments are from the netizens who criticized Quiboloy because of his claims.

Robredo wants to stop ‘Oplan Tokhang’: “Pag-isipan natin ‘yong pagpalit ng isang kampanya na mas epektibo”

Vice President Leni Robredo suggested ending the signature anti-drug campaign of the current administration ‘Oplan Tokhang’ with a more effective campaign with zero loss of lives.

Robredo who’s the co-chair of the Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD) told its members that she wanted to replace Oplan Tokhang because it already gained a bad reputation.

“Parang naka-reach siya ng certain level of notoriety na kapag sinabing Tokhang it is a war against the poor,” Robredo said.

“I think it is incumbent upon us to na mabago ‘yong kaisipan na ‘yon…

Meanwhile, PDEA Chief Aaron Aquino said that there’s no need to replace Oplan Tokhang by another campaign, because it has a good meaning.

“In fact, when you define Tokhang, it’s just encouraging drug personalities to surrender,” said Aquino.

“Pero iniba nila ang ibig sabihin, in fact, it’s a good oplan,” he added.

According to him, they just need to improve their operations to avoid loss of lives on both sides.

Aquino also invited Robredo to join the law enforcers in some of their operations so she can supervise it.

“Pwedeng challenge ko ‘yun sa inyo, ma’am, para at least, makita niyo kung paano nagtatrabaho ang ating law enforcers sa baba and from there, mapi-feel niyo how they work,” he said.

Tokhang is the combination of words “katok” or to knock the door, and the Visayan word “hangyo” or to appeal. It was started by Senator Ronald Dela Rosa during his term as the leader of PNP.

Pastor Quiboloy responds to Vice Ganda: “Baka pati network mo mag stop yan!”

Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy finally responded on Vice Ganda’s request to him to stop the traffic in EDSA and also to end the popular television show “Ang Probinsiyano.”

On November 7, Quiboloy asked Ganda when he wanted Ang Probinsiyano to stop, he also said that even the whole ABS-CBN network might come to an end.

Quiboloy said.

According to Quiboloy, people like Vice Ganda should tone down especially they’re popular and can influence many television fans.

He mentioned several cases where famous personalities made fun of God and faced unfortunate events in the end.

The Pastor then gave advice to the celebrities and networks facing fame.

“Kapag kayong mga nasa entertainment at masyado na kayong sikat, pati network ninyo masyadong sikat, think about helping humanity, think about being an example to others, think about being an example to the next generation,” the Pastor said.

Quiboloy then revealed that he’s a fan of Vice Ganda’s noontime show rival, Eat Bulaga.

Quiboloy also another message to Vice Ganda, saying that he would not judge the celebrity.

Ang dapat mong sinabi mo eh pabilisan,” he said.

The Pastor said that he already accepted the challenge of Vice Ganda to stop Probinsiyano, but he will not speak any additional details about it.

Hontiveros on Robredo’s new position: “Maniwala kayo sa akin, mas magiging mahusay siya!”

Senator Risa Hontiveros believes that Vice President Leni Robredo’s style would be more effective than the current ways of the Duterte administration when it comes to fighting illegal drugs.

In a statement, Hontiveros said that Robredo would ensure that no more innocent people are going to be affected by the anti-drug operations and also no big-time dealers are going to escape.

However, Hontiveros said that the government should give Robredo freedom and powers to make her succeed.

“Bigyan siya ng buong laya na ipatupad sa balangkas ng public health at law enforcement na nakabatay sa karapatang pantao,” she said.

Meanwhile, Robredo said that she wanted zero casualties in the upcoming anti-illegal drug operations, saying that she’s going to change the manners on how the law enforcers are doing it.

“Naniniwala ako na kaya nating ituloy ‘yong laban with the same vigor, na within the bounds of rule of law, human rights, ‘yong standards of procedure,” Robredo said.

The Vice President said that she’s going to correct some of the procedures of the current administration and planning to keep the good ones.

“Ang ire-reset lang natin iyong hindi nagwo-work, saka iyong ire-reset natin iyong mga ginagawa na sa labas ng bounds ng rule of law, social justice, saka human rights. Pero iyong lahat na within those bounds, itutuloy natin at lalong ise-strengthen,” she said.

VP Robredo absent in her first Cabinet meeting as drug czar

Vice President Leni Robredo was missing in her first supposed cabinet meeting in Malacanang after being appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte as ‘drug czar.’

In a photo posted by The Manila Times, Robredo was nowhere to be found in the cabinet meeting presided by the President.

According to Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, Robredo was allowed to join the said meeting as her new role is equivalent to a cabinet position.

She also said that there’s no need to invite the Vice President because she already accepted the appointment.

“She’s welcome. We have a Cabinet meeting today she can even join us,” Panelo said.

“It goes without saying that you’re a member of the Cabinet then you are free to come to join us. But if she would want an invitation, well we can always give it to her,” he added.

Meanwhile, Robredo instead went to Brgy. Tandang Kutyo, Tanay, Rizal to personally visit the distribution of solar kits.

Robredo was spotted trekking with her team as vehicles cannot reach the said place.

It’s known that Moreno accepted offers from companies to become their endorser so he can raise money for the patients of PGH and also to the victims of Mindanao quake.

Broadcaster warns Vice Ganda for making fun of Pastor Quiboloy: “Baka masalubong kita at di ko matantiya anong gagawin ko sa ‘yo!”

A broadcaster defended Pastor Apollo Quiboloy from Vice Ganda after the well-known TV host made fun of the religious leader in his television program.

During the SMNI news channel program Usaping Bayan, broadcaster Mike Abe criticized Vice Ganda for making fun of Quiboloy after the pastor claimed that he stopped the quake in Mindanao.

According to Abe, he would not let anyone make fun of Quiboloy because he knows the pastor personally.

He claimed that Quiboloy is a generous man and never showed any bad attitude towards anyone.

He warned Vice Ganda that the people who follow Quiboloy might do something bad to him if he ever met one.

He then called out ABS-CBN for letting their talents like Vice Ganda to say those words on national television.

After rating lang kayo. Yan pong inyong talent na ‘yan, inyong pagsabihan ‘yan,” he said.

Abe then said that Quiboloy is the “appointed son of God” who prays for the people like Vice Ganda, however he was saddened to see that even the audience of the TV host laughed at his joke about the pastor.

The broadcaster also said that he might not stop himself to do something wrong if he meet Vice Ganda personally.

Abe also called MTRCB to make an action against Vice Ganda for making fun of the Pastor who claims that they’re handling 7,000,000 followers.

“Tinawagan ko ng pansin, MTRCB umaksiyon kayo rito, paglapastangan ito sa industriya ng broadcast.” he said.

SMNI News Channel is owned by Sonshine Media Network International who founded by Pastor Quiboloy.

On November 5, Vice Ganda made a joke about Pastor Quiboloy after the latter claimed that he stopped a quake.

So ano, Quiboloy, hinahamon kita, ipahinto mo nga ang Probinsyano. Napahinto mo pala ang lindol, e. Napakayabang niyo pala!” he said.

Sen. Dela Rosa warns VP Robredo after accepting new post: “You have to fight, hindi ka pwedeng pacute-cute dito!”

Senator Ronald Dela Rosa said that Vice President Leni Robredo should take her new government position seriously as she’s joining a “war” of the current administration against lawbreakers.

According to Dela Rosa, Robredo would face many vicious lawbreakers that’s why she needs to learn how to fight.

“She has to fight, war is not a bed of roses. Hindi man ito pwedeng pa-cute cute lang… hindi pwedeng pa-boka boka lang, aksyon ito,” Dela Rosa said.

Dela Rosa insisted that Robredo should also consider the safety of the policemen and they should be allowed to fight when the lawbreakers resist.

However, Dela Rosa believes that Robredo might help the current administration in enforcing the law as more people doing it is better.

He then gave an advice to Robredo not to look at the current problem of the administration as political, but social.

“You look at the problem, not as a political problem. ‘Wag mo siyang tignan na politika itong problema na ito, tignan mo talaga ito as a social problem,” he said.

Yesterday, Robredo formally accepted her appointment as the co-chair of the Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs.

Despite being appointed, Robredo said that she would remain firm on her stance against the style of the current administration on enforcing the law.

“Tutol ako sa pagdamay ng mga inosente. Alam niya ang aking mga puna. Alam niya ang mga balak kong ayusin,” said Robredo.

She also has a message to her critics.

Arnell Ignacio to Yoly Ong: “Parang ang sarap sampalin!”

Former Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) deputy executive director Arnell Ignacio criticized campaign advertiser Yoly Villanueva-Ong over her controversial tweet against the supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte who got affected by the Mindanao quake.

In an interview with Erwin Tulfo last Sunday, Ignacio said that the tweets of Ong had a negative effect on the victims of the quake, saying that even if she apologized already, the advertising executive still continued to criticize the supporters of the President.

According to Ignacio, this is the first time he heard someone say such words against the Mindanaoans.

Even the host, Erwin Tulfo said that this is his first time to encounter such a woman.

“Alam mo kahit si Satanas mahihiya sa kasamaan nito,” Ignacio said.

In another interview on Thursday, Ignacio again criticized Ong saying that she became infamous because of her tweet.

Mapapahiya si Satanas,” he said.

Ignacio then explained that the supporters of the opposition might be so disappointed that the popularity of President Duterte is not lessening that’s why they’re saying such things to the Mindanaoans.

A few days ago, Ong made a series of controversial tweets against the supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte.

“Hindi pa ba NYO Ma-gest? Gusto na kayong lamunin ng lupa. Magdasal na kayo at humingi ng patawad,” Ong said in her now deleted tweet.

“Duts should seriously prepare for the afterlife. It’s getting hot, hotter, hottest,” she added.

Ong after days of being criticized then apologized to the netizens for her tweet.

“I pray that Mindanaoans accept my apology. And I hope this puts closure on this issue,” she said.

Sen. Bong Revilla Jr. wants 80, 90 year-olds to receive 25,000 pesos each

Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. wanted to amend the Centenarian Law to benefit not only the 100-year-old Filipino but also the other citizens who reached 80 and 90 years old.

Under Senate Bill 295 Senator Revilla wanted the senior citizens to enjoy the said law because there are only a few people that do not reach 100 years old.

“Recent statistics show, however, that many elderly Filipinos do not reach the
age of 100, hence unable to enjoy the benefits and privileges of such law. With the
the rising cost of living and healthcare expenses, most of our senior citizens find it very
difficult to afford basic necessities and have to forego expensive medications and
procedures,” Revilla said.

According to the bill, elderly Filipinos who reached 80 will be given P25,000 cash. Another P25,000 will be given if they reach the age of 90.

The remaining P50,000 will be given once they reach the age of 100.

Under the current rules of the Centenarian Law, only the elderly who reached 100 will receive a cash gift of P100,000.

Meanwhile, the Department of Budget and Management said that the government needs at least P19.8-B to fund the said law.

Meanwhile, the proposal of Revilla received praise from the netizens, saying that only few elderly can enjoy the said law and even if they’re given P100,000 the seniors who reached 100 years old cannot spend their cash gift anymore because of being old.
