Born Again Christian Group denies endorsing Otso Diretso

Born Again Christian group Jesus Christ To God Be The Glory Church International (JCTGBTG) denied that they’re endorsing the senatorial candidates of Otso Diretso during a mass gathering to celebrate their anniversary at Araneta Coliseum on April 30.

In an official statement, JCTGBTG clarified to its members that Otso Diretso candidates were only “acknowledged” by their church and they insisted that they’re not engaging in political activities like endorsing a politician in front of their members.

According to them, other political groups are present during the gathering.

“In all these, we uphold what the Word of God taught us… that is, to respect those who are in authority.” JCTGBTG said in their statement.

“Throughout the years, our church was visited by officials of different parties. However, our church policy states that we do not engage in any political endorsement nor do we grant candidates’ request to speak at any of our gatherings,” they added.

The Christian group also said that they’re not interfering with the decision of their members, especially in choosing the people that they’re going to vote.

“We will never influence any of our members’ voting power. Such that we respect everyone’s political and public views, opinions, and choices,” they said.

They said that they welcomed the Otso Diretso candidates in their gathering so they candidates can hear the “salvation message of the Lord,”

“Rest assuredly, we would like to emphasize that our Church remains to be non-partisan and neutral about this matter.” the Church said.

JCTGBTG released a statement after Otso Diretso Facebook fan page posted a message to their church, thanking them for “supporting” their candidates.

“Punong-puno ang Araneta Center kagabi noong makasama natin ang Jesus Christ To God be the Glory Church International Born Again Christians group! Maraming salamat po sa pag-imbita at pagsuporta sa laban upang ibalik ang honesty sa Senado!” Otso Diretso said.

Otso Diretso members, Bam Aquino, Erin Tanada, Samira Gutoc, Romulo Macalintal, and Florin Hilbay were the candidates attended the said gathering.

NBI reveals other blog allegedly publishing “Bikoy” videos like Rodel Jayme

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) revealed the other blogs allegedly spreading the “Ang Totoong Narco-list” videos on social media.

In a document showed by NBI to the media, it showed that Rodel Jayme’s Metro Balita is not the only blog that shared the videos, and there’s still other four being investigating.

This is the list of blogs listed in the document:

  • PINOY AKO BLOG (own by Jover Laurio)
  • CHANGE SCAMMING
  • METRO BALITA
  • Madam Claudia
  • What the FACT blog

“It was reported that the said Social media accounts were consistently among the first to post the said videos for public consumption. Hence, independent analysis on each of the above-identified social media accounts/sites were conducted.” the document said.

The Facebook page of Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles and Atty. Ahmed Paglinawan also showed the other page of the document, showing another hint that could lead to the owner of Bikoy videos.

In the document, it mentioned a certain “Maru Nguyen” and “Maru Xie” who talked to Rodel Jayme about the Metro Balita website and Bikoy videos.

According to the conversation, Nguyen told Jayme that a certain Magdalo group might reach the latter.

It also mentioned a certain “Filmore” who is a member of the Magdalo and also informed Jayme that he might receive exposure in the international media because President Rodrigo Duterte was being investigated by “US DEA”

“Baka maibalita kapa worldwide,” Nguyen told Jayme in the conversation recovered by NBI.

Several photos of Nguyen has been circulated on social media, but we cannot publish it until the authorities are not giving more information about Nguyen.

Yesterday, Jayme has been served by a search warrant by the NBI and invited him in the Department of Justice (DOJ) for inquest proceedings.

He explained that he’s not aware of the videos being uploaded on his website and expressed his sadness after being used by his friend who asked him the favor.

The said web admin also said that he’s willing to help the NBI in searching for the people behind Bikoy.

Rodel Jayme willing to help to reveal the investigators to find the people behind “Bikoy” videos

Rodel Jayme said that he’s willing to help the authorities on finding the people behind the “Totoong Narco-list” video featuring “Bikoy”, a hooded man who accused the first family and its close ally of being involved in illegal businesses.

In an interview, Jayme said that he was contacted by someone to create a website that they’re going to use to promote the Otso Diretso candidates.

However, he’s not aware that his website was going to be used to upload the “Bikoy” videos, saying that he felt being let down by the one who contacted him.

Jayme who admitted that he’s a supporter of Liberal Party said that the person who told him to create a website gave him P2,500.

“Nilaglag ako sa bagay na wala akong alam, na parang tinraydor ako. In-upload nila ‘yung video na hindi man lang sinabi sa akin, alam nilang andyan ang pangalan ko dahil siyempre ang alam ko lang ay malinis ang intensyon ng pagpapagawa,” Jayme said.

“Binigyan ko po ng access doon sa nagpagawa. Then April 2, no idea po ako, nasa church po ako, biglang na-upload ‘yung video ni Bikoy,” he added.

When the videos were uploaded without his permission, the person who contacted him told him to hide for one month because of the heated conversation about Bikoy.

According to him, he can prove that innocent by the help of the Facebook conversation that he kept, despite the order of the person who contacted him to delete their messages.

“Andun po lahat sa conversation namin sa FB, isa sa bilin ay mag-delete ng conversation, pero hindi ko po gawain na mag-delete ng conversation, alam kong pwedeng ebidensya ‘yun kung may mangyari,” Jayme said.

However, Liberal Party President and Senator Kiko Pangilinan said that people should not assume that they’re involved in the Bikoy videos.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is still not revealing their next move after Jayme expressed his intention to help the authorities in finding the people behind Bikoy.

Jayme is facing several charges for his alleged involvement in the controversial video.

Vice President Leni Robredo says that Bikoy should be a witness: “Hindi ba dapat bigyan ng proteksyon para malaman kung totoo o hindi ang sinasabi?”

Vice President Leni Robredo on Thursday reacted on the move of the government to hunt the man behind the “Totoong Narco-list” video featuring a hooded-man with an alias of “Bikoy.”

Instead of considering as a destabilizer of the government, Robredo believes that Bikoy should be admitted to a witness protection program to reveal if the allegations against the first family are true.

She also recommended that the government should protect Bikoy because he might know something important about the powerful Dutertes.

“Hindi ba dapat bigyan ng proteksyon para malaman kung totoo o hindi ang sinasabi? Kasi hindi naman natin, wala naman tayong way of knowing kung totoo o hindi… May sinasabi siyang mga bank accounts. Bakit hindi tingnan kung totoo? Kasi ano lang naman eh, madali naman i-check iyon. Kung hindi totoo, eh ‘di gustong sabihin, nagsisinungaling iyong Bikoy,” Robredo said in an chance interview.

Robredo also said that if Bikoy is being hunted by the government, the government should also search for the people publishing fake news about her on social media.

She even said that some of the people publishing false information about her might be receiving a payroll from the government.

“Sana iyong lahat na nag-uupload ng mga fake na news, sana inaaresto rin. Biktima ako since 2016 ng maraming fake news. Pero ang masama nito kasi iyong ibang gumagawa ng fake news, parang, sinusuwelduhan pa ng pamahalaan. Sana pantay iyong pag-treat sa lahat, ‘di ba? Lahat na nagsasabi ng kasinungalingan, eh ‘di arestuhin, panagutin,” she said.

Several months ago, a Youtube user uploaded a series of videos titled “Totoong Narco-List” which accused the Duterte family and senatorial candidate Christopher “Bong” Go of receiving payrolls from illegal businesses.

“Metrobalita.net’s AdSense ID is 9287075011637877. Some of my readers were able to trace all the websites bearing that ID, which eventually led us to the identity of the person behind metrobalita.net. Out of fear for their lives, they asked me not to disclose the identities revealed.” Sasot said.

“Google AdSense ID 9287075011637877 can also be seen in another online version of Metro Balita, when it was still a dot com instead of a dot net website. The domain registrant of the old dot com version is Rodel Jayme. This information is publicly accessible via WHOXY, an online tool that reveals the domain registration records of websites.” she added.

The matrix revealed by Palace also showed Metro Balita as part of the conspiracy behind the alleged destabilization plot against the current administration.

Correction: The surname of Rodel is Jayme, not Jaime as earlier reported.

A netizen reveals why Bato’s credential removes her doubts on voting the former head of PNP: “Kaya pala nilampaso niya sa debate ang mga pabida.”

A netizen wrote a lengthy post on how she removed her own doubts on voting Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa in the upcoming senatorial elections this month.

Netizen Jhoie Peji, who said that she’s hesitating in voting the retired General said that she made some research on the credentials of Bato, saying that she was surprised on the educational background of the latter.

In her post, Jhoie said that she realized that Dela Rosa seems secretive in her educational background, not because the latter lack of it, but only being humble despite running as a senator.

She listed in her post some of the courses finished by Dela Rosa, including his Ph.D. in development administration that he got in 2006.

According to Jhoie, after her research, she already knew why Bato showed some intellect during the debate happened several days ago against the Otso Diretso candidates.

You can read her post below:

“At first, I was having doubt about voting Bato in the Senate. Sa puso at paglilingkod bayan no doubt, I can see his sincerity, pero siyempre lahat tayo gusto natin hindi rin basta basta yung ilalagay natin sa senado na gagawa ng mga batas. So I check the candidates’ credentials. I am really amaze and impress. isa na naman patunay na marami tlg ang humble sa Davao. Marami ang minamaliit si Bato, maybe the way he speaks, hindi kasi siya pa impress, and he speaks the truth and straight forward. Our simple and humble Bato Dela Rosa was educated at Bato Elementary School and Sta. Cruz National High School before attending Mindanao State University (MSU) to study for a Bachelor of Science degree in public administration. In 1982, he left MSU to join the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) and graduated in 1986 as part of PMA Sinagtala class. He then earned a Masters of Public Administration degree in 1998 and a Ph.D. in development administration in 2006 from the University of Southeastern Philippines in Davao City.
Dela Rosa completed a Scout Ranger Orientation Course, Police Intelligence Officer Advance Course, Police Officers’ Comptrollership Course, and the Police Safety Officer Course. He also attended training courses of the FBI Academy and U.S. Army Ranger School in the United States and Air Marshal Instructors Course by the Australian Federal Police.

These alone are his educational attainment and trainings. His service to the people is way more impressive, paki search na lang po mahaba eh. I can now confidently campaign and ask people to vote for Bato! We don’t need good talkers in the Senate, we need those who get things done.”
