Legendary OPM artist Freddie Aguilar admitted that he’s not yet accepting his daughter Maegan to enter his home despite the appeal from the latter.
It can be recalled that Maegan already made a public statement to reach her father and ask for help because of her condition hyperthyroidism.
Maegan narrated in the public service program Raffy Tulfo in Action that she already left her father’s custody when she was still 16 years old.
RTIA clarified that Freddie already sent his help to Maegan and paid her hospital bills. However, it seems that she was still not satisfied with the help she received.
“‘Tay, wala kasi akong ibang tatay, kayo lang, e. Hindi ko na po alam kung paano ito ayusin, unless din po willing kayo na tanggapin for who I am, what I am.” Maegan said.
In an interview with Aster Amoyo, Freddie spoke for the first time to respond to his daughter.
He admitted that Maegan was not allowed to enter his home, despite the fact that the latter’s child was living there.
“We are talking but she’s still not allowed in my house.Kasi nasa akin ‘yung anak niya si Anaya. Pinag-aaral namin pati ‘yung isang apo namin si Sky na nasa bahay din” Aguilar said.
Freddie explained that he wanted Maegan to change herself first before he allowed her to come back.
“Si Maegan, hindi siya pwede ‘don until malaman ko na talagang nagbago na siya. Kasi sinasabi niya sa’kin ‘tay nagbago na po ako. Sabi ko anak hindi mo kailangang sabihin na nagbago ka sa akin. Ako malalaman ko ‘yun anak.” he said.
‘Pagka alam ko na nagbago ka, ako mismo ang magsasabi sa’yo anak halika nagbago ka na e, pero hindi mo kailangan sabihin. May kasamang action ‘yan. With what you’re doing now, ‘di ka pa rin nagbabago,” he added.
