It seems that Alex Gonzaga already learned her lesson after the viral cake incident that happened during her 35th birthday party.

The incident became trending on social media after millions of netizens watched how Alex smudged a waiter with cake.

Several days after the incident it seems that Alex was already open to discussing the topic with her fans.

In her post about the successful concert held by her sister Toni, one netizen said that there should be a cake presented during the event.

However, Alex said that she was already staying away from the cake.

“Naglalayo na ako sa cake,” Alex stated.

Most netizens laughed at the response of the actress.

Meanwhile, she also reminded the netizens to refrain from spreading wrong information about the concert.

She made the said post amid the rumors that the 20th-anniversary concert of Toni was flopping.

Alex Gonzaga became viral, not in a good way for several days because of a video uploaded by actress Danni Barretto.

Barretto captured Gonzaga smearing cake on the face of a waiter and quickly deleted it after realizing that the video was receiving criticism on social media.

According to talent manager and showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz, Danni was not supposed to be at that party that caused Alex.

Diaz who took his information from his source told him that Barretto was not invited by Gonzaga to attend her 35th birthday party.

But Barretto managed to attend because her husband Xavi Panlilio was contracted to become the DJ of the said party.

Diaz said that felt so bad that she cried after the party after realizing the mistake she did.

The party was supposed to be private and some guests thought that no one would post them on social media so they were not thinking about their actions during the event.

Ogie even said that Alex was so happy that night.

“Napakasagrado na sana nung birthday na sana walang nagco-cover dahil nagwawala ‘yung mga bisita. Dahil doon lang sila nakakakilos ng walang camera lahat magkaka-close.” Ogie said.

Barretto did not give any statement on the issue.

The lawyer of Bea Alonzo finally spoke about the accusation from a certain netizen who said that the actress grabbed the land she used to build her farm in Zambales.

Netizen @ALOveyoutoo shared a story about Bea having dinner with her Aeta neighbors that were positively perceived by most netizens.

However, the netizen had a different reaction to the story and suggested that Bea should give back the lands she took from the Aeta people who are native to Zambales.

“That’s nice, now how about giving their land back” the netizen said.

Atty. Joey V. Garcia of GERA Law made a statement regarding the post of the netizen and said that the accusations of the netizens were baseless.

The lawyer said that Alonzo brought her 16-hectare farm legally.

“It is unfortunate that a certain “aloveyoutoo” made a very irresponsible & highly outrageous statement on Twitter asserting that Ms. Bea Alonzo should give “their – (referring to Aetas) land back.” Atty. Garcia stated.

“For the record, our client vehemently opposes that baseless & very unfair accusation. She & her family are the absolute & registered owners of the parcels of land in Zambales, acquired through legal & valid means.” he added.

Garcia then warned the netizens to be careful on posting accusations against their client or they might face legal consequences.

Content creator Joel Mondina also known as Pambansang Kolokoy finally introduced the one he was calling right now his ‘special someone’.

Netizens were surprised after he introduced the mystery girl that made his heart fall former Eat Bulaga host Gladys ‘Chuchay’ Guevarra.

In his video, Mondina shared his moments with the Eat Bulaga host together with his child.

Guevarra shared with their followers that she’s a childhood friend of Mondina.

The former EB Dabarkads didn’t confirm if the child in the video is her baby with Mondina.

It can be remembered that at first, Guevarra denied that she was having a relationship with Mondina after receiving accusations from the netizens.

Some netizens even called her ‘kabit’ by Mondina, but the former host denied it.

Actress Maricar Reyes-Poon shared with her followers that she’s still a licensed doctor despite not practicing for years.

In her Instagram post, Maricar showed a photo with her classmates saying that they had better grades than her and she was wondering how they would compete with them.

Maricar then realized that she would excel more in psychology which made her decide to write a book to help people struggling with their mental health.

“This is also why I was able to write my book — by understanding and explaining my own struggles, it may help someone else with their own challenges.” she said.

“Ang saya to see that a fellow doctor used my book to help with her patient’s depression,” she added.

She also clarified that while she’s still a doctor, she could only treat basic illnesses.

“Doktor pa rin ako— but only for the basics, mga ubo sipon, first aid ganern haha!” the actress said.

Maricar graduated from the University of Sto. Tomas with a degree in Medicine.

In 2017, she revealed that she has no interest anymore to practice being a doctor.

“Ngayon ang tingin ko sa kanya, ayaw ko siyang pagkakitaan. Parang gusto kong mag-medical mission, mga ganyan. Pero as work? Parang baka hindi full-time job,” she said.

Maricar also had no regret of choosing showbiz career instead of being a doctor.

“Slowly I realized my passion and interest wasn’t in medicine anymore. I will always admire doctors, but I didn’t want to do that for a living.” she shared.

“So I told my dad I wanted to quit med and and get into modelling full time. My new dream was to save money and start my own business.” she added.

Model Deniece Cornejo sent a cryptic statement to the Philippine Entertainment Portal on January 19, 2023, after the return of comedian Vhong Navarro to show business.

In her statement, Cornejo didn’t mention Navarro directly but netizens believe that the model was referring to the actor, especially since she was accusing him of serious charges.

It seems that Cornejo was trying to gain the support of the public and also other individuals claiming that they’re also victims.

However, Alano didn’t confirm if she was referring to Navarro because she didn’t file any charges against the mysterious celebrity.

Deniece and Kat didn’t confirm if they already met.

The camp of Cornejo opposed the decision of the court to allow Navarro to post bail, however, their petition was rejected.

Hearing on the case filed by the model was scheduled to continue this year.

Former actress Ruby Rose Villanueva also known as ‘Mystica’ received praise from the netizens after she pledged to give a daily allowance to a student.

Mystica who’s currently residing in the United States saw a comment from one of her fans asking her son Stanley for some allowance that he could use while studying.

“Hi po Kuya Stan sana may mag sponsor sakin na pambaon sa school 20 lang isang araw para araw araw kami napasok hehe,” netizen Lhenard Arandia said.

Fortunately, Mystica who loves showing her wealth on social media was touched by the comment of the student and vowed to support his studies.

The former actress then tasked her son Stanley to contact the netizen.

“Congratulations for winning a sponsorship of 20 pesos per day pambaon sa School. Stan ikaw na bahala dito sa bagong anak mo!” Mystica said.

The netizen then thanked Mystica for helping him.

Arandia said that he really wanted to seek help because he’s not receiving support from his father anymore.
