Hindi mapigilan ng ilang netizens na kiligin matapos magbahagi ng isang misteryosong post ang telsvision host na si Kris Aquino tungkol sa isang lalaki na nagbiyahe pa ng ilang oras upang makita lamang siya.

Sa kanyang post nitong Pebrero 13, ibinahagi ni Kris Aquino ang kasalukuyang lagay ng kanyang kalusugan at ang ilan sa kanilang mga ginawa kasama ang pagkakaroon nila ng pansamantalang matitirhan na nakapwesto diumano sa harapan ng dagat.

Ngunit maliban doon ay may napansin ang mga netizens dahil sa pinasalamatan ni Kris ang isang lalaki na nagbiyahe pa diumano ng 14 na oras para lamang siya puntahan.’

Nagpasalamat si Kris sa determinasyon ng nasabing lalaki dahil sa nagawa pa nitong magbiyahe mula Pilipinas hanggang Amerika makita lamang siya.

“Just in time for my birthday… we are 14 hours behind 🇵🇭 time, in advance, THANK YOU because you continue to give me the best gift anybody in my situation could ask for, your prayers.” ani Kris.

“I have a wonderful support system from my 2 sons, Alvin, Rochelle, Ate Rome, old friends & new friends here in the 🇺🇸… but you need to be a very determined man of your word to fly 13 hours each way to spend a few days with me on my birthday. For his effort i am GRATEFUL…” dagdag pa niya.

Ilan sa mga netizens ang sinubukang  hulaan kung sino ang binabangit ni Kris sa kanyang post.

May ilan na nakadiskubre ang ilang post ni Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste kung saan makikita ang pagbisita niya sa Amerika upang puntahan si Kris.

Lalo pang kinutuban ang mga netizens ng lagyan ng caption ni Leviste ang kanyang post tungkol kay Kris na “Distance is just a test to see how far love can travel”.

Dahil dito ay marami ang nagtatanong kung may namumuo na nga bang relasyon kay Leviste at Kris.

Cinemagoers were already hyped about the rivalry between the two movies created by directors Joel Lamangan and Darryl Yap.

It can be recalled that Joel Lamangan created ‘Oras de Peligro,’ a historical drama movie about social injustices that happened days before the People Power Revolution that ended the term of former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

Meanwhile, Yap also made another historical drama movie about the rivalry between the Aquino and Marcos family after the success of Maid in Malacanang.

Coincidentally, the two movies were set to be shown on March 1, 2023.

During the press conference of Oras de Peligro, Lamangan said that Yap intended to match the showing date of his movie because the VIVA director wanted to counter the truth.

“Sila tumatapat, hindi kami. Ibig sabihin, napakaimportante ng pelikulang ito kaya nila tinatapatan. At takot sila.” Lamangan said.

Lamangan also said that Yap wanted to hide the truth from the public.

“Dahil ang ginagawa nila ay gusto nilang pagtakpan ang katotohanan. Ang katotohanan na ang mga Pilipino ang nagpatalsik kay Marcos sa Malacañang. Yun ang katotohanan, at igalang natin ang kasaysayan. Yun ang kasaysayan! Hindi dapat tayo padala sa melodrama ng awa sa kanila na sila ang pinalayas, sila ang parang ginawang kung anu-ano lang.” the veteran director said.

“Dapat tayo ay magbantay, nang hindi tayo pumayag na baguhin nila ang kasaysayan,” he added.

In his post, Yap reacted to the press conference about Lamangan’s movie asking why he was being discussed there even if he’s not part of the project.

“Bakit po sila nagpapapresscon kung ako lang naman yung topic? di ba nila alam na may group chat naman?” the director said.

Journalist Arnold Clavio made a creative gift for his wife last Valentine’s Day.

In his social media post, Clavio shared the bouquet he gave to his wife, Charlene, that was made of onions.

“Happy ❤️’s Day Mamu … And you deserve the most expensive bouquet on this special day … 14324,” Clavio said.

It can be recalled that during the past few weeks, the price of onion peaked at 700 pesos per kilo.

However, the current price of the onion already dropped to 150 per kilo.

Clavio was one of the people who criticized the government because of the high price of onions.

In his past post, he even said that even national hero Jose Rizal would complain about the price of the said basic ingredient.

Director Darryl Yap responded to the criticisms he received from Cherry Pie Picache during the press conference of the movie “Oras de Peligro,” directed by Joel Lamangan.

Oras de Peligro was expected to counter the story of Yap’s upcoming movie about the story of the rivalry between former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and former Sen. Ninoy Aquino Jr.

During the mediacon held on February 12, Cherry Pie said that she would refuse any offer from Darryl if she received an offer to be part of any future projects of the director.

According to her, she’s ready to portray the character of former first lady Imelda Marcos as long as it’s not from a project of Darryl.

“Depende sa konteksto ng pelikula, sa script why not? Pero by Darryl Yap, no!” she said.

The popular director responded to Cherry Pie and asked why the actress acted like she already watched his movie.

He even mentioned how the actress forgave the man who ended the life of her mother while a director like him who only made movies was treated badly by Cherry Pie.

“Napanood ko kasi kung paano mo pinatawad ang pumatay sa Nanay mo, ang pagsabi mo ng magagandang bagay patungkol sa pangtanggap at pagbibigay katwiran sa mismong pumatay sa Nanay mo—naisip ko, YUNG PUMATAY SA NANAY MO, NAYAKAP MO.
sigurado kang may kabutihan sa kanya—Ako, na gumagawa lamang ng pelikula (na dahilan kung bakit kayo may pelikula) AKO ANG TINATANONG MO KUNG MAY KONSENSYA?” the director asked.

Darryl also made it clear that he’s not interested to hire Cherry Pie in any of his movies.

In another post, Yap posted a movie poster from an old movie of Cherry Pie where she was seen eating a banana.

He questioned why he became one of the top discussions during the media conference for Oras De Peligro despite the fact that he was not even part of the movie.

“Pinanood ko rin nang buo ang presscon nila na muntik ko nang isipin na ang title ay Oras de Darryl o Darryl De Peligro, dahil halos ako ang topic. Akala ko may nagtrigger lang sa kanya—pero wala; gusto nya talagang sabihin ang nasabi niya, pero ok lang—ganoon din naman ako tuwing sumasagot, ang kaibahan lang, never ako umatake.” he said.

Several netizens talked about the advice of Sen. Robin Padilla in the past to his daughter Kylie Padilla.

Padilla’s advice recirculated on social media after Aljur Abrenica’s admission that he had a relationship with AJ Raval.

It can be recalled that Sen. Robin and Kylie already talked before about the latter’s problem with her former partner Aljur Abrenica.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, the action star-turned-senator admitted that he had no right to advise his daughter.

“Pagdating sa marriage ano ba ma-a-advise ko? E, failure din kami ng mama niya. Ano’ng credibility ko?” Padilla shared.

According to Padilla, the only advice he gave to Kylie was to convert Aljur to Islam.

“Sabi ko, ‘Pag-Muslimin mo na lang si Aljur’,” Padilla shared.

Islam allows a man to have multiple wives, so some netizens thought that Padilla wanted Aljur to be converted so he could legally marry other women.

He also urged Aljur and Kylie that if they’re planning to reconcile, they should do it as soon as possible.

“Pero sana huwag tumagal. Kung magbabalikan sila, ‘wag nilang patagalin. Kailangan kaagad,” he said.

Padilla also told the two not to publish their problems on social media.

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin couldn’t hide her disappointment towards Vice Ganda after the comedian allegedly called her ‘tsakang chismoso’.

As a response to the criticisms of Vice, Cristy revealed some issues about the comedian including his alleged bad breath.

However, even the partner of the comedian, Ion Perez didn’t evade the wrath of the columnist and even revealed the bad attitude of the model.

According to Cristy, Ion didn’t deny that he was living comfortably because of Vice.

“Matalas ang dila ng Ion. Napakatalas ng dila. Matapos niyang sabihin na may nagtanong daw sa kanya, ‘Bakit ka pumatol kay Vice? Bakit sa beki?’ Anong sagot niya, ‘Alangan namang pakainin ko pamilya ko ng buhangin…’ so aminado siya na comfort, future ang kanyang ano… ‘di ba? It can be recalled that some netizens already questioned if Ion really loved Vice or if the model was just trying to stay with the comedian because of his money.

Vice and Ion met when he auditioned for ‘Kuya Escort’ role for the Miss Q and A segment of Its Showtime.

He eventually became a co-host of the show after fans saw a chemistry between him and Vice.

As of writing, Vice and Ion have yet to give a response to the accusation of Cristy who’s a known critic of the comedian.

Hindi maitago ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang pagka-insulto sa ginawang panunutok ng military grade laser ng Chinese Coast Guard sa barko ng Philippine Coast Guard.

Nangyari ang insidente sa gitna ng pagsasagawa ng resupply mission ng PCG sa Ayungin Shoal nitong Pebrero 6.

Ayon sa ulat ng PCG ay may ilang miyembro nila ang pansamantalang nabulag dahil sa sobrang liwanag ng laser na itinutok sa kanilang barko.

Malinaw diumanong paglabag sa soberanya ng Pilipinas ang ginawa ng mga intsik sa mga miyembro ng Coast Guard.

“The deliberate blocking of the Philippine government ships to deliver food and supplies to our military personnel on board the BRP SIERRA MADRE is a blatant disregard for, and a clear violation of, Philippine sovereign rights in this part of the West Philippine Sea.” ayon sa PCG.

Hindi naman diumano sila masisindak sa ginagawa ng Chinese Coast Guard sa kanila.

“Regardless of this challenging situation, the PCG remains steadfast in protecting the sovereignty and rights of the country and Filipinos in the West Philippine Sea.” sabi pa nila.

Samantala ay naglabas naman ng pahayag ang Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin at inakusahan ang Pilipinas na diumano’y lumabag sa soberanya ng China.

“We hope the Philippine side will respect China’s territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests in the South China Sea and avoid taking any actions that may exacerbate disputes and complicate the situation,” sabi ni Wenbin.
