Eat Bulaga host admitted that he became attracted to Rhian Ramos’ mother Clara Ramos.
During Ramos’ guesting to Eat Bulaga’s segment ‘Bawal Judgmental,’ Joey had a short conversation with the actress’ mother and reminisced about the past.
Clara who was a band vocalist during her youth shared that they performed on the now-defunct show of De Leon ‘Iskul Bukol’ and she was happy that the host still remembered her.
“Kung ‘di niyo maaalala ‘yung banda niya, nag-uumpisa yata sa X,” Clara said.
Clara then corrected Joey saying that their band name was ZZYXZ.
Some Dabarkads also noticed the beauty of Ramos, saying that the actress got some of her features from her mother.
Joey then admitted that he became attracted to Ramos during those days.
“Noong bata… Naku crush ko ‘yan,” the host shared.
The singer appreciated the comment of Joey.

An internet celebrity who became popular because of being involved in the case of the late flight attendant Christine Dacera made a proposal to motivational speaker Rendon Labador.
In his comment to Rendon’s video against Ben Tulfo, Valentine Rosales who’s a member of the LGBT community hinted to the motivational speaker that he should visit his house instead of going to the office of the investigative journalist.
“PM sent na po yung address ko, derecho ka nalang sa kwarto,” Valentine said.
Valentine also defended Labador from Tuesday Vargas who criticized Labador.
Netizens couldn’t stop themselves from mentioning Christine because Valentine was one of the accused during the investigation of the case.

Actress Kakai Bautista asked Rendon Labador to have a check-up with the doctor after he challenged investigative journalist Ben Tulfo.
It can be recalled that Labador told Tulfo that he was not afraid of him and even said that he would go to the office of the journalist.

A GMA News reporter received criticisms from a councilor from Quezon City because of her alleged irresponsible reporting about the passing of the latter’s relative.
In her Facebook post, Quezon City District 1 councilor Doray Delarmente called out the news program SAKSI and their reporter Jamie Santos who announced the passing of the retired Police Brig. General George Ancheta without informing his family first.
Delarmente also called the report of Santos inaccurate and it affect her family too much.
“For the record, and based on all the witnesses na kasama sa bahay … HINDI SIYA NAKALABAS NG BAHAY. My uncle, Retired Police Brig General George Ancheta, died inside … and HE DIDN’T HAVE A CHANCE TO GET OUT OF HIS HOUSE.” Delarmente said.
“You reported that my uncle DIED on LIVE TV …. without even confirming if alam na ng pamilya! His wife, who just got out of the house, was standing a few feet from you … and HINDI PA NIYA ALAM NA WALA NA ANG ASAWA NIYA. Sinisigaw niya yung pangalan ng asawa niya sa harap ng bahay. TAPOS BIGLA MONG ISASALANG SA LIVE INTERVIEW??? ….. Tuliro. Wala sa sarili. Lutang. Sa tingin mo makakakuha ka ng tamang impormasyon sa kanya?” she wrote.

A netizen thought she saved a lot of money after buying a mattress from a trader visiting their barangay.
In a Facebook post, Michelle Abuzo Oliveros said that after buying it from the trader, she quickly noticed something was wrong with the foam.
After checking, Oliveros realized that the trader misled her after discovering that the foam was made of used diapers and napkins.
“Shout out sa nagbenta ng kama namin, sana ma-karma ka,” said Oliveros. “Eto ang laman ng foam na binili namin, puro pampers at napkins para lumambot,”
“Akala namin gawa ‘yung mattress sa foam. Wala ka bang konsensya na madami kang napagbentahan nito? Next time mag-ingat na tayo sa mga nagbebenta ng kama,” dagdag pa niya.
Because the material used in the mattress was considered unhygienic, Oliveros decided not to use it anymore.
Some people who bought the same mattress already reported the trader to the authorities.
Law enforcers already reminded the netizens to be careful of buying any product from strangers, especially if they’re offering it cheaper than the regular price.

An unusual incident along North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) has been captured by a netizen and quickly went viral on social media.
In a video, Serry Grecia shared a lost horse running on NLEX southbound between San Fernando and San Simon Pampanga on May 19.
Netizens expressed concern as the horse was visibly confused with the noise and fast-running vehicles.

Fortunately, a horse rider made a successful attempt to rescue the horse.
According to Kenneth Kurt Villarica, they rescued the horse between Sta. Monica and San Simon.
They also quickly checked the condition of the horse and they noticed that the animal was tired from non-stop running.
“Narecover po namin sa sta monica san simon po pawis na pawis sobra sakit napo ng paa,” Villarica said.
The horse reportedly recovered already and its owner is still not yet identified.

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin didn’t believe the stories circulating on social media about Mommy Divine Geronimo’s attendance during the 20th-anniversary concert of her daughter Sarah Geronimo.
In her online show together with Rommel Chika and Wendell Alvarez, Cristy said that Divine chose to manage her business instead of watching one of the most important concerts of her daughter.
Rommel shared that there’s some news circulating that Divine attended the concert but kept her low profile to avoid being seen by fans.
“Meron daw kasosyo si Mommy Divine sa kanyang negosyo na may meeting sila noong araw na ‘yun na pinos-postponed daw ni Mommy Divine kasi manonood daw siya ng concert ni Sarah. Hindi siya pumunta sa taas, doon siya sa bandang taas,” Rommel said.
However, Cristy questioned the veracity of the news, saying that Divine would buy the cheapest ticket to a concert.
It’s also impossible that none of the thousands of attendees of the concert would spot Divine.

Ayon sa nasabing Facebook page ay hindi pa nag-uumpisa ang pagtanggap ng mga unibersidad sa UK at US ng mga application para sa scholarship.
Napansin din niya na hindi makumpirma ng eskwelahan kung saan nagtapos si Julian kung may katotohanan ba ang natanggap niyang scholarship at hindi rin sila nasabihan ng mga nasabing unibersidad sa abroad tungkol dito.
Mali mali rin diumano ang grammar ng liham na natanggap ni Julian kaya naman kuwestiyonable ito lalo na kung talagang galing ang sulat mula sa mga prestihiyosong unibersidad sa ibang bansa.
Pinuna naman ng nasabing Facebook page ang media dahil sa hindi man lang nila tinignan kung totoo nga ba ang istorya ng binata.

Sa ngayon ay wala pang tugon si Julian sa mga netizen na kumukwestiyon sa kanyang post.
