“I began my singing career in 1977. Throughout, I’ve posed for photos (selfies, now), and given autographs to fans who’ve approached with big smiles and kind words. They’ve always been respectful. I will forever be grateful, without them I’d have no career,” Leah said.

It can be recalled that Lea received criticism on social media after she refused a request from her fans for a photo-op after they entered her dressing room without proper permission.

“Who are you? I’m sorry, I don’t know who you are,” Lea told her fans.

“Para akong ipis na inapakan or kutong tiniris, ‘yun po kasi talaga ang naramdaman ko Sir Julius,” said Christopher. “Lahat po kami natulala,”

In 2018, Leah gave advice to Lea to become vocal about a certain issue.

The rating contest between E.A.T and Eat Bulaga was getting closer as the Kapuso show almost surpassed the popularity of the newest noontime program of TVJ.

According to the data released by Nielsen Philippines NUTAM on July 18, Tuesday, E.A.T got a rating of 3.6% while Eat Bulaga attained 3.5%, a 0.1% difference between the two rival shows.

The rating showed that E.A.T still suffers from decreasing popularity while Eat Bulaga maintains its rating.

Observers believed that E.A.T’s rating was attributed to its low reach and the decreasing hype of the so-called Dabarkads’ issue against TAPE Inc.

As of writing, TVJ Productions has yet to react on their decreasing popularity.

Noli de Castro, TV patrol hosts in disbelief on Ricci Rivero’s ‘1-year no laundry’ habit: “Parang side A side B ganon?”

Noli de Castro and several TV patrol hosts couldn’t stop themselves talking about the revelation made by Andrea Brillantes against her ex-boyfriend Ricci Rivero.

During the closing spiel of the Kapamilya news show, De Castro and other anchors, Alvin Elchico and Bernadette Sembrano, tried to figure out how Ricci could not wash his clothes for a year like what Andrea spilled.

“Anong isang taon? Isang taong hindi naglo-laundry ng alin?” Echico asked after watching the news about Andrea’s interview with Vice Ganda.

“Mga damit siguro ano ba ang ilo-laundry,” De Castro responded.

“O, e bakit isang taon? Parang side A at side B ganu’n?” Echico asked.

Sembrano couldn’t stop herself from laughing while listening to her co-hosts.

The discussion went further, and the hosts tried to make some theories on how Ricci managed such a feat.

“Baka naman naiwan niya sa sa trunk ng kotse ‘yung kanyang damit kaya isang taon hindi nalabhan?” Sembrano stated.

De Castro then said that it was possible that Ricci was not using his clothes again.

“Baka naman ang kanyang mga damit, e, wash and wear? Or never wash, just wear,” the veteran broadcaster said.

As of writing, Ricci has yet to respond to Andrea’s revelations.

Imposibleng pumanig sa TAPE! Jimmy Santos, hindi raw pinabayaan ng TVJ

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin said that Jimmy Santos was never been abandoned by Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon despite not being part of Eat Bulaga anymore.

In her radio program “Cristy Ferminute,” Fermin said that Jimmy still received support from TAPE co-owner Tony Tuviera and TVJ even if he was retired already from the show.

Jimmy retired from hosting in 2021 because of old age.

According to Fermin, it was nearly impossible for Jimmy to accept any possible offer to return from Eat Bulaga without TVJ.

“Hindi talaga siya pinabayaan ng Tito, Vic, and Joey at ni Mr. Tony Tuviera,” Fermin said.

“Kaya doon sa mga nagpapaikot ng balita na hindi sumama si Jimmy Santos sa TVJ at pumunta doon sa TAPE Bulaga, ay palagay ko po ay hindi niya yan gagawin,” she added.

It can be recalled that Jimmy was spotted together with current Eat Bulaga host Paolo Contis during the taping of their project in Australia.

Even Paolo admitted that he didn’t talk to Jimmy about the Eat Bulaga issue.

Jimmy was currently spending his retirement as a ‘vlogger’ and a businessman.

Cristy Fermin questions TAPE Inc’s decision to celebrate Eat Bulaga’s 44th anniversary: “Nakakahiya ito”

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin questioned the decision of Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE) to celebrate the 44th anniversary of Eat Bulaga even if all the original hosts of the show already left.

In her online program, Fermin wondered how the new Eat Bulaga hosts would celebrate the 44th year of the longest-running noontime show if the production company had just hired them last month.

“Paano n’yo ipagdiriwang ang apatnapu’t apat na taon nang wala ka namang maaalala o hawak man lang na video ng nakaraang apatnapu’t apat na taon. Anong clips ang ilalabas nila?” said Fermin. “Nakakaloko ‘no, ise-celebrate niyo ang 44 years eh iilang buwan pa nga lang kayo diyan.”

It can be recalled that former Eat Bulaga host Tito Sotto said that TAPE has no right to celebrate the anniversary of the noontime show.

“Kami orig na may karapatan mag-celebrate. From TAPE people and current hosts, none of them were there 44 years ago,” said Tito.

“Ano itatapat nila eh wala naman sila doon in the last 43 years? Feb lang pumasok mga new officers then June ito mga bagitong hosts,” he added.

TVJ Productions was reportedly preparing to celebrate the 44th anniversary of Eat Bulaga on their newest noontime show E.A.T.

They also filed a copyright infringement complaint against TAPE, asking the court to stop the production company from using Eat Bulaga’s title and jingle, which Vic Sotto wrote.
