Eat Bulaga host Buboy Villar went viral on social media after being spotted eating at the Carinderia owned by the ‘G sa Gedli’ winner last July 22.

In the photo posted by ‘My Sparkle Notebook,’ Buboy enjoyed a meal from Aling Agnes’s store while Isko Moreno interviewed the winner.

While many netizens laughed at Buboy’s actions, some fans of the original Eat Bulaga Dabarkads couldn’t stop noticing the similarity between the host’s gestures to Jose Manalo.

It can be recalled that Jose Manalo, who’s one of the most popular hosts of Eat Bulaga’s former segment ‘Juan for All, All for Juan,’ was known for not wasting the opportunity to taste the food of their winners when there was a chance.

“Galawang Jose Manalo yarn,” netizen Allen said.

“Hirap gayahin ni jose no buboy peace,” netizen Alex remarked.

“Hanggang dyan ba nman sa segment nio na yan wala parin originality , buboy hindi mo kayang pantayan si jose , obvious naman na ginagaya mo sya,” netizen Millet commented.

The current Eat Bulaga has been accused of copying the ideas and even the style of the original Dabarkads. Still, legally, TAPE Inc., the production company behind the said noontime show, owned the rights to the segments and title of the program.

Businessman and Vlogger Christopher Carpila received the attention of the internet after his encounter with singer Lea Salonga last week.

The publicity he received from the issue made him gain thousands of new followers on Facebook.

Because of his newly gained popularity, Christopher didn’t waste the opportunity to share his daily activities and travels with his followers.

He also shared some of his wisdom that may help his followers to be a better person.

In his latest post, Christopher shared a motivational speech to the netizens, saying that people must always be positive thinkers.

“Napaka importante sa atin ang may humor at positivity dahil isa yan sa mga nagiging sandata natin para lumaban sa mga pagsubok na ibinibigay sa atin ng Panginoon,” he said.

“So guys, kayo napanghihinaan ng loob, na binabatikos or kung ano ang pinagdadaanan niyo sa buhay.. humor at positivity lang, everyday ilagay niyo sa isip niyo makikita niyo malalampasan niyo yan lahat,” he added.

Meanwhile, one of his new followers requested Christopher to feature another celebrity again in the future.

It can be remembered that Christopher expressed no regret for what he did to Lea.

“Alam ko, wala akong ginawang masama, alam ko ‘yung pagka-post ko, hindi ko intensyon na manira or ipakita sa buong mundo na ‘yun siya. Katulad ng sabi ko, tao lang na siguro, hindi nakapag-isip nu’ng klinik, pero wala naman po akong sinabing masama.” he stated.

Maricar Reyes-Poon has been praised by netizens because of how she surpassed the issue that people thought she couldn’t survive.

In her video, she explained how she survived the said ordeal by accepting the mistakes she had made.

“Hindi ko to nalagpasan dahil matatag ‘yung loob ko, or dahil nag self-love ako, or I realized my worth,” she said.

“Nalapasan ko to kasi tinanggap ko ‘yung mga pagkakamali koto really accept na hindi ako mas malinis kaysa sa mga nanakit sa akin,” she added.

It can be recalled that in 2009, Maricar was involved in a big issue with celebrity doctor Hayden Kho when their private moments spread over the internet.
