Singer and actress Tippy Dos Santos announced that she passed the 2022 bar exam.

On April 14, Tippy couldn’t hide her happiness after passing the hardest examination in the Philippines and becoming a lawyer.

Esquivias Dos Santos, the mother of Tippy, shared a clip during their celebration.

“CONGRATS MY BABY ATTY. Tippy Dos Santos We never doubted you! We knew you’d pass!! Thank you Lord Jesus! Thank you Mama Mary!” Mrs. Dos Santos said.

Her fans also congratulated the lawyer for her achievement.

“From singing Dati over and over again to watching law school vlogs and finding comfort when i have bad recits myself, to being a fan of your wedding, and buying two saints coffee and now thiiiis huhu congratulatioooons my inspiration!!!!:” netizen reena said.

“Grabeee!!!! Watched your videos since you started law school. You inspired me too to pursue it, and now you’re already a lawyer! Never did fangirling but you!!! You deserve it ATTORNEY!!!!!” netizen gantequeenie commented.

Miguel Porcuna, the husband of Tippy, also dedicated a message to his wife.

“Called it. Congratulations, my love! No doubt since day one! Nowhere but up, and I am excited for what’s in store for you,” Miguel commented.

Tippy was known for recording ‘Dati’ with Sam Concepcion.

She also became a VJ of MYX Philippines.

Whamos Cruz is considered one of the most influential content creators in the Philippines.

He became more popular by sharing his life with his family after having a child with his partner Antonette Gail.

However, because of his popularity, his past has also been dug out by some netizens, including his alleged first family.

In 2019, a netizen who claimed to be an aunt of Whamos’ rumored ex-partner criticized the influencer for allegedly leaving his first family for his career.

“Sa lahat ng walang alam at sa lahat ng proud na proud kay Whamos, lilinawin ko lang ah, iniwan niya at pinagpalit niya yung pamangkin ko at apo ko para sa career niya,” netizen Cyril Fernandez said.

Fernandez accused Whamos of not sending child support to his rumored first child.

“Yung latest post niya about sa nagsusumikap niya? that is wrong kase ni isang kusing wala siyang binibigay, iniwan at niloko niya yung mag ina para sa opportunity niya na sumikat lalo!! Kahit dalaw wala tas kung magpost ng magpost sa fb at tiktok especially sa ig na kasama new gf niya akala niya wala siyang pamilya!” she said.

“Icocorrect ko lang lahat ng taong nagsasabing binabash yung idol niyong mukang lamok, hindi po namin siya binabash ang gusto lang ng pamilya namin yung sustento para kay sam ok na ba?” she added.

Several photos circulating on social media showed Whamos together with another woman and child.

The said woman refused to give any statement and it’s not yet known if the two talked together after Fernandez’s revelation.

Whamos kept his silence on the issue as of writing.

Actress Gigi de Lana broke her silence on the suspicions that she went to enhance her face with the help of science.

Gigi is considered one of the most beautiful singers currently, and millions admire her because of the beauty of her voice and her face.

The singer rose to fame after joining Tawag ng Tanghalan in 2016.

Despite not winning the said competition, De Lana gained fame on the internet together with her band Gigi Vibes Band, composed of Jon Cruz, LA Arquero, Harvy Jake Manalo, and Romeo Pastre Marquez.

As her fame increased, she experienced criticism and questioning from some netizens who were curious about the changes in her appearance since joining the Tawag ng Tanghalan.

In an interview, Gigi admitted that she underwent enhancements to look more beautiful.

“Kasi, I’m proud na alam niyo ‘yun. I love myself. Tapos tatanungin nila na, ‘You love yourself pero nagparetoke ka ganyan, ganyan.’ Katawan niyo ‘to? Kayo nagparetoke? Sino kayo? Gigi also said that she thought carefully about admitting her decisions.

“Personal preference ko rin kasi na magparetoke at umamin sa public. Kasi alam naman eh, mahahalata mo naman kasi. Naisip ko na rin ‘yun, aaminin ko ba? Aaminin ko ba ‘to? Sasabihin ko ba? Kasi kung hindi ko sasabihin, ito ‘yung consequence, sasabihin ng fans, magsisinungaling ‘yung fans, puro kasinungalingan. I don’t like liars.” she stated.

In another post, she also told the netizens that she only went enhancement.

“Hahaha. Guys ilong lang pinagawa ko. Hindi ba pwedeng nag mature mukha dahil tumanda? Masama ang mag judge ah ng hindi niyo alam,” she commented.

Senator Bong Revilla couldn’t hide his happiness after his daughter Inah passed the 2022 bar examinations.

In his Facebook post, Revilla congratulated his eldest daughter for becoming a lawyer.

“Meron na akong lawyer! I am so proud of you Atty. Inah my anak! Congratulations on achieving one of your dreams.
Hindi ko mapigilan maluha sa tuwa, at hindi ko mailagay sa salita ang pagiging proud ko bilang isang ama. Alam ko that you did this partly because of me and for me. Lalo pa at alam ko ang pinagdaanan mo na pinagsabay ang pagiging ina at ang pag-aaral ng abogasya. All the hard work has paid off! Galing!” Revilla said.

“Now that you have reached your dream of becoming a lawyer, always remember why God has blessed you with this – to help and bless others. Remember I will always be here to support you and be your number one cheerleader. I love you Inah!” he added.

Inah was one of the 3,992 examiners who passed the exam.

The daughter of the senator was a former actress and appeared in several movies.

Inah left showbiz after announcing her pregnancy at the age of 18.

She married businessman Vince del Rosario.

The Bar exam is considered the most difficult licensure examination in the country.

Alden Richards reacted to the rumours that he’s not a straight man.

It can be recalled that even until now, Alden was still being accused of being ‘gay’ by some of his critics, especially when his relationship with Maine Mendoza suddenly fell off.

In an interview with Pep in 2014, the actor and television host already addressed the rumours, saying that he was sure of his identity.

“Hindi naman po siguro batayan na porke’t walang lovelife for the past couple of years, yung preference mo, nag-iiba.” Alden said.

According to him, he’s already used to receiving criticism from some netizens.

“A, ako po, sigurado po akong hindi lalaki ang type ko!” he stated.

The rumours started when some photos of Alden, together with some of his male friends, including actor Derrick Monasterio, went viral on social media.

However, Derrick already said that he only tried to grab the phone from Alden.

“Phone po niya yun. Nasa bulsa niya po yung phone niya ‘tapos kinukuha ko po, nag-aasaran kami.” Derrick said.

While Alden was not affected by the said accusations, his father, Richard Faulkerson was not happy with the comments he was reading about his son.

Mr. Faulkerson even challenged the netizens to prove that his son is not straight.

Actress Maricar Reyes admitted that she really wanted to have a child with her husband Richard Poon, but until now, they’re still failing to be blessed with a baby.

In an interview, Maricar shared that they already planned to have a child two years after their marriage, but they’re still childless after nine years.

According to her, the doctors didn’t see any problems in both of them.

“There’s no problem with him, there’s no problem with me. Feeling ko, we did our due diligence naman on our side humanly possible. Pero wala, e. So what are you gonna do?” said Maricar.

However, Maricar already accepted if she would remain childless.

“Meron lang talaga akong peace. Kung meron [anak], okay. Kung wala, okay. It doesn’t make me feel like I’m less of a person or I’m less of a female. Kung wala, e, wala. E, ginawa mo na yung part mo, e. And I rest on that.” she stated.

Maricar and Richard were married in 2013 after meeting each other in 2009.

In an interview, Richard admitted that he already fell in love with Maricar when he first saw her.

However, the early years of dating were tough, and they said that they were ‘on-and-off’ during those times.

Maricar also told her husband about her past, especially what happened to her in 2009.

“Eventually, tumawag ako sa kanya, and I told him lahat ng baho ko na nakakahiya. Kung ayaw na niya ako after telling him all the things that I wanted to tell him, e ‘di huwag. E ‘di tapos na. At least, before anything got more complicated, nasabi ko na.” she shared.

Fortunately, Richard wholeheartedly accepted her.

 

 

Content creator, humahanap ng driver para sa kanilang misyon na libutin ang buong Pilipinas sakay ng jeepney

A content creator announced that they’re on a mission to visit every province in the Philippines while driving a jeep.

In his social media post, Francis Amoroso said that they’re looking for a driver that would help them to achieve their goal.

They’re offering P15,000 a month for the said driver, and the applicants should be ready to travel for months.

Amoroso shared the requirements for their potential jeepney driver:

– Hindi mainitin ang ulo. Mahaba ang pasensya.
– Marunong makisama.
– Binata or sanay na malayo sa pamilya.
– Mahilig gumala at masayahing tao.

The content creator also showed that they’re using a jeepney that has been set up to be a recreational vehicle.

It means that they’re planning to live in the Jeep for months.

He also showed that they’re using Starlink to have an access to the internet while travelling.

The post of Amoroso has already reached 17,000 shares as of writing.

They’re also receiving hundreds of applications from interested drivers who want to join their adventure.

“Grabeeeee as of now 200+ na ang naga-apply bilang driver ng Bahay Jeep! Paano ko kayo iinterviewhin lahat?” Amoroso shared.

He clarified that P15,000 was only a starting salary, and there was a possibility that they would pay more once they started their adventure.

“Promise, kahit maliit pa lang sahod ngayon, lalaki yan soon…” he stated.

The group also explained to the netizens why their previous driver left, saying that the latter decided to leave because he was in need of a higher salary.

“Kailangan, boss, ng mas malaking sahod. Pamilyado na po kasi. Kaya mas maganda sana yung sapat ang 15k muna, pero pag nagbunga naman yung ginagawa natin, sabay-sabay naman po ang angat. Walang maiiwan,” one of the members of the content creator group said.

Jake Zyrus expressed dismay over the repeated comparison by netizens and relatives to him and Charice Pempengco.

In an interview, Jake was visibly annoyed while giving a statement amid the comparison made by his mother, Raquel Pempengco, between his former self and singer Morisette Amon.

Last month, Mrs Pempengco made a reaction to the performance of Morisette during David Foster’s concert.

“Alam ko ang mga timbre ng boses na hinahanap mo DF (David Foster).. Sinabi ko naman sa inyo noon pa… nag iisa lang ang boses na yan. Kahit kanino mo pa ipakanta yang song mo.. Di mabibigyan ng hustisya,” Raquel said.

Jake said that it was already impossible to return to his former voice.

“Anong gusto ninyong mangyari? Bubuhayin si Charice? Paano? Scientifically, wala, e. It’s impossible because I’m already taking, like, hormones because that’s who I am.” Jake said.

“Just shut up and listen to your Charice’s songs in your own f*ck*ng time!” he added.

He also believed that it was really disrespectful for some netizens to compare Charice to other singers.

“You’re literally comparing these singers to the person that doesn’t even exist anymore! Do you guys even think about that?” he stated.

Mrs. Pempengco has yet to respond to the interview of Jake.

Maja Salvador, decides to leave her Dabarkads amid the “uncertainties surrounding Eat Bulaga”

Maja Salvador’s talent agency Crown Artist Management (CAM) announced that the actress and television host would temporarily leave Eat Bulaga amid the internal issues happening with the longest-running noontime show.

In their official statement CAM said that the absence of Maja in Eat Bulaga was only temporary.

The said statement shed more light about the issue surrounding Eat Bulaga executives.

Maja became a Dabarkads on October 2021 and her appearance surprised the netizens.

Before hosting Eat Bulaga, Maja was a long-time talent of ABS-CBN.

Aside from the internal issue happening in the said program, they also cited the upcoming wedding of Salvador as one of the reasons why she’s leaving the show.

“Crown Artist Management would like to announce that with Maja Salvador’s upcoming wedding, and with all the uncertainties surrounding Eat Bulaga, she will be leaving the noontiem show for the time being.” the statement reads.

“Becoming Dabarkads in Eat Bulaga was a dream of Maja that came true one and a half years ago, but for now we have to give it a pause.

“This decision was already communicated to their management, so we’re hoping for your utmost understanding. Maja wishes Eat Bulaga, its hosts and staff all the best!”

As of writing, Eat Bulaga management has yet to give a comment to the decision of Maja.

It can be recalled that the noontime show was rumored to be rebranded by its top officials, however none of them confirmed the reports.

They’re set to hold a press conference on April 15 to clarify all the issues.

The comeback of TV5’s top-rated show Face-to-Face became one of the top discussions on social media this week.

TV5 announced that Face-to-Face would start airing again on May 1, 2023, replacing Tropang LOL.

Some netizens felt sadness that the original host of the reality talk show, Amy Perez, who’s popularly known as ‘Tyang Amy’ would not come back for the said show.

Karla Estrada was set to host the show, and not everyone was happy with it.

However, Amy asked the netizens to support Karla, saying that she was already passing the crown to the latter.

“Mga kapatid, pinapasa ko na ang korona kay Karla Estrada. Queen Mother, go go go, mwah!” Amy said.

It can be recalled that Amy reportedly refused the offer of TV5 to host face-to-face, saying that she’s not yet ready to leave her current network ABS-CBN.

She also said that her co-host, Hans Mortel already passed away, so she might feel sad if she hosted face-to-face again without him.

“Hindi naman ako pinabayaan ng ABS-CBN kaya sobrang thankful ako sa kanila. Wala naman akong exclusive contract but I respect and value the fact na never akong nawalan ng show kaya super thankful ako. Parang happy and contented na ako kung nasaan ako now, so parang I don’t want to shake pa the boat. Nakakahiya.” Amy explained.

 

“And since nagawa ko na ang Face to Face, baka it’s time para iba naman ang gumawa at baka may offer sila na ibang flavor. Saka wala na rin si Hans. Baka hindi ko na makaya without him.” she added.

Some netizens were still hoping that Amy would reconsider the offer because they believed that she was the only one deserving to become the host of the show.
