Talent manager and veteran columnist Lolit Solis hoped the public would remember her as a good person.

In her Instagram post, Lolit, known for being involved in several controversies due to her actions and showbiz revelations, said she didn’t act badly toward other people.

The biggest issue she faced was during the 1994 Manila Film Festival when she masterminded the awards night in favor of Gabby Concepcion and Ruffa Gutierrez.

“I claim ko iyan, sa Heaven ako pupunta hah hah. Kahit na naging selfish ako sa aking life na pasaway at confrontational, I feel na I have done something good parin dahil nalagpasan ko naman lahat ng hurdles in life na wala akong inagrabyado o sinaktan na tao,” Lolit said.

“Naging fair ako sa aking mga dealing, at honest sa feeling ko. Either nasa left or right ako, at never playing safe na nasa middle lang. Either kaaway mo ako, or kaibigan, at ganuon din ako sa iyo. I hope na kung sakali, people will remember me with a smile, dahil maganda ang iniwan kong image. Naku basta 77 ka na, tanggapin mo na malapit ng matapos ang journey mo kaya better magpakabait ka na at dalasan ang pagdarasal,” she added.

It can be recalled that Lolit was already facing several health conditions and was already required to undergo dialysis several times a week.

Pokwang received advice from the netizens to take Ruffa Gutierrez as a role model regarding forgiveness.

The Kapuso comedian went viral on social media recently after she pushed for the imposition of the deportation order against her former partner, Lee O’Brian, who was allegedly still in the Philippines despite being ordered to leave the country.

According to some netizens, Pokwang should reconsider her decisions and give Lee a chance to play his role as a father to their child, Malia.

“Word of advise lang. Be like Ruffa Gutierrez. Mas malala pa naging karanasan niya with Ylmaz but never nya nilason utak ng mga anak nya para magtanim ng galit sa kanilang tatay. Ruffa is living peacefully and happily now. Choose to be happy,” the netizen said.

However, Pokwang said that the heartache she received from her experience might differ from Ruffa’s.

“Well hindi ako si Ruffa, magkaiba kami sa itsura palang maganda sya malayo sobra, sa pangalan etc. So hindi pwedeng dapat ganito ka kasi ganito sya ok?” she said.

It can be recalled that Ruffa’s relationship with Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas in 2003 was compared to a fairytale by many fans.

Their marriage produced two daughters, Venice and Lorin Gutierrez.

Unfortunately, Ruffa’s marriage to Yilmaz became a nightmare after the businessman treated her badly.

Ruffa only managed to escape Turkey after being allegedly locked by Yilmaz inside a cabinet for 15 hours.

But after 15 years, Ruffa decided to let her daughters see Yilmaz in Turkey so the businessman could do his role as a parent.

Leyte 4th District Rep. Richard Gomez said that he was ready to return on showbusiness after several years of focusing on his role as a public servant.

In a report released by the Philippine Star, Richard said that he was ready to be paired with any younger actress, even to Andrea Brillantes who’s very popular now.

When asked if he was ready to have some romantic scenes with Andrea, Richard said that he was ready if it was required in their project.

“Kung willing sila di ba? Who am I to say no?” he said.

Richard is 37 years older than Andrea.

Andrea has yet to give any comment on the statement made by the lawmaker.

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin was disappointed with Kathryn Bernardo’s recent posts on her social media page.

In her radio program ‘Cristy Ferminute’ on January 24, 2024, the controversial showbiz personality discussed the photos released by Kathryn several weeks after she announced her breakup with Daniel Padilla.

According to her, Kathryn’s revealing outfit and partying should be put in moderation.

“Ito naman kasing si Kathryn, hindi rin gaano nag-iingat,” said Cristy. “Humawak pa siya ng botelya… Katulad ng kulay green niya an two-piece, isang ihip ko lang babagsak na ‘yang ibaba na ‘yan,”

“Ilagay din sa ayos ‘yung kanyang mga ginagawa. Dapat ‘yung pini-flex iniingatan din ‘yan. Ano tuloy and sinasabi? nagwawalwal siya. Nagwawala siya.. Piliin, anak, ang pinapakita sa publiko para hindi ka nakakatanggap ng mga negatibong komento,” she added.

Kathryn’s sudden image change from being a conservative teen star received mixed reactions from the netizens.

Some fans believed that Kathryn deserved to do what she really wanted to do and enjoy her life as being single.

Influencer Antonette Gail revealed that she didn’t engaged in ‘x-deal’ to pay some of the suppliers who became part of her son’s luxurious birthday celebration at the Okada.

An x-deal is an agreement between two parties, who would want to collaborate without any monetary involvement.

X-deal became controversial among content creators as some believed this kind of agreement was unjust.

However, Antonette didn’t engage in the said practice and instead paid their supplier cash.

“Kapag birthday namin tipid na tipid kami pero kapag kay Meteor, sige go,” Antonette can be heard saying.

Netizens estimated that Antonette and her partner, Whamos Cruz, spent millions of pesos to organize the space-themed party, which received mixed reactions from the netizens.

The influencer couple didn’t disclose the exact amount they spent in the party.

It can be recalled that the netizens questioned Antonette’s dance number, saying that her performance didn’t fit a child’s birthday party.

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin disclosed several pieces of information surrounding the decision by Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla to sell some of his properties.

In her radio program, ‘Cristy Ferminute,’ she said that Daniel was planning to sell not only his properties but also his businesses.

“Si Daniel Padilla, matapos po nating masaksihan yung pagbebenta ng sasakyan, at ibinebenta na rin po yung unang bahay na kanyang naipundar mula nung sumikat siya. Aba pati raw yung ano, yung mga naipundar na negosyo, eh binebenta na rin. Pati raw yung kilalang-kilala na alam mo na, yung naipatayo nila sa probinsya, sa Tacloban ata yun, yung food chain,” she said.

According to her, Daniel’s move prepared him to leave the country for good after he ended his 11-year relationship with Kathryn Bernardo.

“Yung food chain mukhang binebenta na rin daw ng 50m. At may kwento pa na parang gusto nang umalis ng Pilipinas ni Daniel Padilla,” she stated.

It can be recalled that Daniel sold his sports car for around P6-M and also put his property in Quezon City for 50-M.

Netizens believed that the bad publicity received by Daniel would cost his whole showbiz career, and leaving the country was a wise move.

Comedian Pokwang was determined to impose a deportation order against her former partner, Lee O’Brian.

In her comment, Pokwang, who expressed her disappointment after discovering that Lee was still in the Philippines despite the order, said she would ask Senator Raffy Tulfo’s help.

According to her, she wanted to know the people who helped Lee to remain in the country.

“Kapag wala na sa lupa ng pinas yan! may padrino daw e teka lang ha! wag ganon! baka ipa tulfo ko sya kapag ganyan!” she said.

It can be recalled that the Bureau of Immigration (BI) already ruled that Lee must not remain in the Philippines as he was working in the country without proper documents.

The comedian’s camp also labeled Lee as an ‘undesirable alien’ after years of living with Pokwang in the same house.

Pokwang said that she could only move forward if Lee left the country.

“Hindi ganoon kadali. Kapag wala na siya sa Pilipinas, ‘yan ang super move on ko na talaga. Sa ngayon hindi pa. Ayokong i-share ang hangin ng Pilipinas sa kaniya, hindi niya deserve,” said Pokwang

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin believed that Kathryn Bernardo was surrounded by people who could influence her badly.

In the January 24 episode of ‘Cristy Ferminute,’ she discussed the sudden change in Kathryn’s image after her breakup from her 11-year relationship with Daniel Padilla.

She then mentioned some comments from the netizens who connected Kathryn’s friends to the negative rumors surrounding her.

“‘Yong kay Kathryn Bernardo, ano? Hindi kagandahan itong mga huling nababasa natin, nasusulat, at saka mga komentong tinatanggap niya,” Cristy said.

“Diumano–kasi ‘di natin kilala ‘yong sina…bestfriend niya na si Sofia Andres saka ‘yong isa si Alora Sasam–-hindi natin kasi sila kilala nang personal kaya hindi natin pwedeng tanggapin na mga hindi kagandahang impluwensiya nga kay Kathryn ang mga taong ito,” she added.

However, Cristy believed that Kathryn was only enjoying her freedom.

“May mga hindi nakakaunawa kay Kathryn ngayon. Dahil sabi nga natin, ngayon pa lang niya sinasamantala ang panahon para siya ay makapaglibang at mapatunayan at maranasan ang pagiging babaeng malaya,” she stated.

Whamos Cruz was upset with the negative comments thrown by Christian Merck Grey to the birthday party they organized for his child, Baby Meteor.

It can be recalled that the celebration held at the luxurious Okada Manila went viral on social media, not because of Meteor, but because of his parents, Whamos and Antonette Gail.

In his video, Cristian Merck said that the party became about Whamos and Antonette instead of Meteor.

“Children’s party pala ‘yung pinuntahan ko? Children’s party, ‘yung mga bata tulog na, ‘yung may birthday nga tulog na. Para namang ginawa niyong birthday niyo, parang ginawa niyong Cruz Got Talent,” said Christian.

Whamos couldn’t stop himself from reacting to Christian, saying that the latter was not even invited to attend the party.

According to him, Christian was just trying to use him to gain viewers and followers on social media.

“Langya, ‘di nga imbitado sa b-day ng baby ko, ang dami pang sinasabi. Sabit ka na nga lang sa asawa mo, ikaw pa magaling mag-comment sa mga nangyari sa b-day ng anak ko. Ano ba pakialam mo e sabit ka na naman sa pangalan ko?” he stated.

Meanwhile, Antonette has yet to give her reaction to Christian’s comment.
