Jormiel Labador criticized those who supported Kapamilya actor Awra Briguela who got involved in a heated confrontation last week in Poblacion, Makati.

In his video, Jormiel told the supporters of Awra that the Kapamilya actor deserved to be put behind bars again for what he did to everyone involved in the incident.

“Sa lahat po ng nagsasabi na ‘we stand with Awra’, ibalik niyo sa kulungan,” said Jormiel.

He also questioned the release of Awra last Saturday, believing the courts were closed during weekends and was not supposed to allow to post bail during that time.

“Kapag sikat ka, papakawalan ka. Kapag hindi ka sikat, papataligan ‘yan, peperahan ka pa,” he stated.

“Lahat ng kumakampo kay Awra, magsiupo po kayo, kahit sino pa kayo, mali ‘yung ginawa eh. Tino-tolerate niyo ‘yung tao,” he added.

However, it can be recalled that Sandiganbayan Presiding Justice Amparo Cabotaje-Tang, already debunked the common misconception that courts were closed on Saturdays.

She explained that courts were still operating under skeletal force on Saturdays, so it’s still possible for some accused, like Awra, to post bail.

As of writing, Awra still refused to talk about the incident that was captured by CCTV cameras.

Willie Revillame reportedly refuses Jalosjos’ invitation to appear on Eat Bulaga: ‘Matindi ang respeto ko sa TVJ’

Willie Revillame had reportedly invited to appear on the Saturday episode of Eat Bulaga last July 1.

The news has been revealed by Cristy Fermin on her online show ‘Cristy Ferminute’, saying that the executives of TAPE Inc. attempted to negotiate with the popular television host to appear on their noontime show as their ace to match TVJ’s ‘E.A.T’.

According to Fermin, members of the Jalosjos family met with Revillame’s camp to talk about the possibility of the television host being a special guest for the first monthsary episode of Eat Bulaga.

“Ang gusto po nila, lumabas si Willie sa kanilang programa, yung di lehitimong ‘Eat Bulaga’ at tatapatan ang unang sultada ng ‘Tito, Vic, and Joey and Dabarkads’ dito po sa TV5. Gusto nila nung Sabado,” the veteran columnist stated.

However, Fermin said that Revillame refused the offer, saying that he would be more interested if TAPE Inc. would start talking about his own show, ‘Wowowin’.

Fermin said that Revillame also has a lot of respect for TVJ, and he’s not interested in competing with them anymore.

“Isa lang ang sinabi ni Willie, ‘Matindi ang respeto ko sa Tito, Vic, at Joey. Hindi ko magagawa yun.’ Ang ganda diba? ‘Pero kung ang dahilan kung bakit niyo kaharap ako ngayon ay ang Wowowin, sige pag-usapan natin.’ Yun ang sinabi niya,” she said.

It can be recalled that Revillame’s former shows ‘Wowowee’, ‘Willing Willie/Wil Time Bigtime’ and ‘Wowowillie’ became the closest rival of Eat Bulaga for the span of eight years.

However, Revillame decided to stop becoming a noontime show host and changed his timeslot to nighttime.

It’s not yet known if Revillame was interested again in returning to the noontime slot as he wanted to talk to TAPE Inc. about his upcoming show ‘Wowowin’.

TAPE Inc. reportedly not happy with GMA’s treatment to It’s Showtime

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin claimed that Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE Inc.) was not happy with the treatment given by GMA Network to their competitor ‘It’s Showtime.’

It can be recalled that TAPE’s Eat Bulaga and It’s Showtime were now being aired on channels owned by the Kapuso Network.

But even the netizens noticed that the Kapamilya noontime show received a lavish production and star-studded GMA talent guests compared to the longest-running noontime show.

According to Fermin, she received a report about the disappointment by the people behind TAPE Inc. after seeing how accommodating GMA Network was to ‘It’s Showtime’.

“Ang sama-sama ng loob ng mga taga-TAPE Incorporated kasi ‘yung mga artista ng GMA 7 na matagal na nilang iniimbita para lumabas sa kanilang programa kamuka’t muka’t mo nasa It’s Showtime nung Sabado,”  said Fermin in her online show ‘Cristy Ferminute.’

“Napakasakit nga naman nun. Sampal ng mag-asawa ‘yun,” she added.

There were circulating rumours that GMA Network took ‘It’s Showtime’ as a backup plan if ever that Eat Bulaga’s rebranding became a failure.

However, despite being unpopular on social media, Eat Bulaga on Saturday still received a decent rating despite having two competitors already.

Eat Bulaga received a 2.62% rating, compared to the Kapamilya show, which received a 3.94% rating.

TV5’s newest noontime show, consisting of former Eat Bulaga hosts, received the highest rating during that day, achieving an 8.4% average rating.

E.A.T host Joey de Leon took a swipe against the lavish production number made by Vice Ganda during the first episode of ‘It’s Showtime’ on the Kapuso Network.

In his social media post, Joey said that while their studio was only small, the support they received from the televiewers was higher than the altitude being reached by helicopter.

“Ganito kaliit lang ang studio namin sa TV5, parang elevator pero 1,000 floors naman ang taas ng ibinigay nyong pagpansin sa amin…lagpas helicopter!” said Joey.

It can be recalled that despite having a more simple production compared to ‘It’s Showtime’, the new show of Joey, Tito Sotto, Joey de Leon, and former Eat Bulaga Dabarkads led the noontime rating last July 1.

Netizens believed that no amount of production budget would surpass the happiness being brought by former Eat Bulaga hosts.

“No one can put down truly good men (TVJ) . Simple Lang ang show kahapon kumpara sa iba grabe ang effort , Pero may laman at tatak sa puso. TVJ at legit Dabarkads ang taga pag puno sa kalungkutan naming mga OFW.” netizen Alvaro said.

However, some fans reminded Joey not to spark another rivalry again by taking a swipe against their competitors.

“Congratulations on your new home. Sana po iwas iwasan nyo na sir ang paparinig. Nakaka wala po yon ng respito. Pwede namn mag bigaybng isa’t libo isang tuwa pro yong mga parinig nakakawala ponng respito. Being humble is more important and be thankful kasi meron kayong new home. Napakasakit po nyan kng babagsak ulit kayo. Again congratulations po!” netizen mejh commented.

As of writing, Vice has yet to give any comment to Joey.

Vic Sotto, nadulas matapos sabihin ang ‘Eat Bulaga’ sa kanilang bagong show

E.A.T host Vic Sotto made a funny mistake during the first episode of their noontime show on TV5.

During one of its segments, they interviewed some of the fans of Eat Bulaga, who went viral on social media for airing their complaints after the departure of TVJ on the longest-running noontime show.

One of the audience, ‘Juanito,’ who went viral on social media for composing his version of Eat Bulaga theme song to express his complaint, was lucky to be interviewed by Bossing Vic himself.

Juanito also sang his composition to satisfy the request of Vic and the other E.A.T hosts.

The fan also received several prizes from Vic, but while the host was giving away the gifts, he yelled the title of their former show instead of ‘E.A.T.’

“Galing sa Eat Bulaga!, PHP5,000, at mga T-shirt!” Vic said.

There was a second of silence, and Vic seemed to wait for the reaction from his co-hosts.

Paolo Ballesteros, Ryan Agoncillo, and Maine Mendoza then corrected Vic and reminded him that the title of their show now was ‘E.A.T.’

Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola, who were carrying the prizes, also couldn’t contain their laugh because of Vic’s mistake.

“Saan ba talaga Bossing?!” Jose asked Vic.

Netizens said that it’s normal for Vic to make such mistakes, especially since he’s already used to uttering the words Eat Bulaga for 44 years.

However, some observers said that Vic should be more careful next time, especially since they’re still not possessing the trademark Eat Bulaga and such mistakes might give a reason for TAPE Inc. to file charges against the host.

A bouncer working at the bar who tried to appease Awra Briguela was planning to file charges against the 19-year-old Kapamilya actor.

In an interview with GMA News, Onin narrated how they attempted to stop Awra several times from following the complainant Mark Christian Ravana.

According to the complainant, he was asked by Awra several times to remove his clothes and pants, but he refused every time, upsetting the Kapamilya actor.

In the CCTV footage published by Bolt Hole Bar, Onin and the other bar staff can be seen trying to stop Awra, but the actor was not cooperative with them.

Onin also showed the result of Awra’s unruly behaviour towards them.

“Pinipilit siyang pakalmahin pero hindi pa rin siya kumakalma,” Onin said.

“Kahit sa pulis galit na galit din siya. Tinatadyakan po niya ‘yon,” he added.

He’s now planning to file charges against Awra because of what happened.

The bouncer also denied the story made by the camp of Awra, saying that the complainant group didn’t do something wrong that night.

They also reviewed the CCTV many times to verify the story made by Awra’s camp, but they found nothing.

Bolt Hole Bar also said that they’re always keeping an eye on their guest, so they would know if someone was being disrespected inside their establishment.

Netizens notice Joey de Leon uses ‘face with tongue’ emoji after meeting Jim Paredes

Joey de Leon shared a photo during his meeting with Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and members of the APO Hiking Society, Jim Paredes and Boboy Garovillo.

The meeting happened during the celebration of the 450th founding anniversary of Pasig City, where Vic’s son, Vico, was the mayor.

In his post, Joey reminisces his memories with Jim and Boboy, who became his co-hosts in their first-ever television show on Channel 13.

“OKAY LANG” kami! “Okay Lang” was our FIRST EVER TV Show on Channel 13 with Apo Hiking Society 50 years ago! Joey said.

However, several netizens noticed something cryptic in the last part of Joey’s post.

“WOW LIMA!—-Tito, Vic, Jim, Buboy & Joey! OKAY, LANG ang FIVE! 🤣😍😜😊😊,” Joey said.

Netizens noticed that Joey used the ‘face with tongue’ emoji to the position of Jim, who went viral on social media because of the spread of his video that was not supposed to be consumed by the public.

“Yung emoji ni Jim, nakalabas ang dila. Henyo talaga 😜,” netizen Lubert said.

“Ang taba talaga ng utak nyo sir Joey,” netizen Roma commented.

“Lowkey patama yung emoji Galing ni Joey hahaha,” netizen Jessi remarked.

Some netizens believed that the order of Joey’s emoji was not a coincidence, especially since the television host was known for being a talented writer and poet.

Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola made the performance of megastar Sharon Cuneta on E.A.T by referring to the ‘meme’ involving the song of the singer.

During her appearance on the newest noontime show of TV5, Sharon performed one of her most famous songs, “Bituing Walang Ningning,” which also went viral on social media in the past few months after becoming a meme.

The said song became a ‘meme’ about the Filipino culture of taking home some food they took from a party they attended.

One line of the song indicates ‘Balutin mo ako,’ which means ‘wrap’ in Filipino.

Before starting her performance, Sharon told the Eat Bulaga guests and its staff not to take all the food and wait for everyone to eat at the buffet inside the studio.

“Paalala lang po. Kung kayo po ay naimbitahan, maghintay po muna hanggang nakakain na ang lahat ng bisita bago maglabas ng mga lalagyan. Nakakahiya naman po,” she said.

In the middle of her performance, the camera was switched to Wally and Jose, who were caught already putting some of the food from the buffet in their containers.

Sharon couldn’t stop herself from being distracted from the funny act made by the duo.

“The act of these foreign nationals is not only disrespectful but also a breach of the national symbol’s dignity. The flag, a revered representation of national identity and sovereignty of the country, deserves utmost respect from all individuals regardless of their nationality. We strongly condemn any act that undermines the values of cultural sensitivity, cooperation and harmony between nations,” ani Gaces.

Motivational Speaker Rendon Labador reacted to the challenge made by Eat Bulaga host Paolo Contis to his critics.

It can be recalled that Paolo said that netizens who criticized him were only brave because they were behind the keyboard typing negative comments against him.

“To be honest, oo, minsan magugulat ka na, ‘Ano? Wow, saan galing yon? Sa ‘yo ba nangyari?’ But it’s the social media thing.” said Paolo.

“Kasi, hindi sila masasapak sa mukha habang sinasabi nila yon. Subukan nilang sabihin sa harap ko yon kung ano ang mangyayari sa kanila. Kaya tumapang ang mga tao, e. Pero kapag tinanong mo ang ano, zero, zero! Ay, imbento, tigilan ako,”  he added.

Rendon then told Paolo that he was not worth the attention or visiting personally, saying that the latter should become a responsible father first to his three children and send support.

“Walang gustong maki pag s*pakan sa artistang laos at wala ng kapera pera. Advise ko sayo bro, tapangan mo munang mag sustento sa mga anak mo baka pag bigyan kita sa hamon mo.” said the motivational speaker.

As of writing, Paolo has yet to give any response to Rendon, who’s known for criticizing him for not sending financial support to his children.
