Actress Kim Rodriguez’s camp released a statement following the rumors about the relationship of their talent with basketball player Marc Pingris.
It can be recalled that several social media forums discussed how Kim and Marc were spotted in the same places several times: first was at a basketball event in Rizal, second was at an expressway stopover, and third was in Sydney Australia.
Marc already addressed the basketball event, saying that Kim was a muse for a basketball team during that time.
Meanwhile, Kim via her manager had already addressed the second and third incidents, denying that she and Marc were traveling together.
“Nagpunta po ako diyan, nag-stopover po ako diyan kasi papunta ako ng Subic kasama ang mga kaibigan ko. ‘Yung kay Marc Pingris po, hindi ko alam kung kailan ‘yun,” The statement Kim submitted to Ogie Diaz reads.
“Kahit itanong niyo pa po diyan sa girl na ‘yan kung magkasama kami ni Marc Pingris or pareho niya kaming nakita on that same time, I’m sure alam niya ‘yung totoo.” she added.
She then clarified that she traveled to Australia with her friends and that the place where the photo was taken was a popular tourist spot in the said country, therefore it would also be normal for Marc to visit the same place.
Meanwhile, Marc’s wife, Danica Sotto-Pingris, kept her silence on the issue.
