Businessman Christopher Retokelly Carpila didn’t let the fame he gained from being lectured by Lea Salonga slide, as he was now creating content featuring celebrities he was spotted in public places.

In his newest post, Christopher showed his meeting with another Filipino singer Mark Bautista who’s eating at a Taiwanese Restaurant.

Netizens even noticed that he took a swipe against Lea in his caption, saying that Mark accommodated him even if he was not included on the guest list.

It can be recalled that Lea’s camp explained that the singer rejected Christopher’s request for a photo-op because he was not included on her guest list.

“Nagpapicture ako sa kanya pero tinanong ko muna siya kung okey lang ba kahit wala ako sa Guest list,” Christopher said.

He even showed how Mark talked to him briefly.

The singer also fulfilled the request of Christopher for a photo-op.

However, some netizens called out Christopher again for bothering Mark, who’s having private time.

“Enjoy talaga xa mag invade nang artist privacy para sa views??? Isa kang #motivationalinvader,” one netizen said.

Christopher then explained that he asked Mark for consent before recording a video.

“Hi po tinanong ko po siya bago ako maglive if okey lang. At bago yang Live, nagpicturan at nagtsikahan na kami..sabi ko salamat ha kahit wala ako sa guest list eh napagbigyan niya ako… antay mo yung post ha… ineedit ko lang,” he said.

Fan na nakatanggap ng sermon kay Lea Salonga, ipinakita ang pila sa labas ng dressing room: “Wag magbulagbulagan sa katotohanan,”

Digital creator and businessman Christopher Carpila showed another evidence that people were allowed to enter the dressing room where singer Lea Salonga lectured them about ‘boundaries.’

In the video, Christopher can be seen lining up with his other friends and even clarified that they never entered the exact dressing room where Lea was staying.

He also again denied that they were invading the privacy of the singer, who’s currently in New York to perform ‘Here Lies Love.’

“Wag magbulagbulagan sa katotohanan Hindi kami gate crasher. We did not invade her privacy,” he said.

It can be recalled Christopher was the one who uploaded the viral video that showed the incident, but he insisted that he didn’t post it to put the singer in a bad light.
He also didn’t express regret for his decision to upload the incident.
Lea’s camp already explained that they didn’t allow Christopher’s group to have a photo op because they’re not included on the guest list.

TAPE Inc. celebrates after Eat Bulaga outshines TVJ’s E.A.T ratings: “This is an early anniversary gift”

Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE) couldn’t hide their happiness after their noontime show Eat Bulaga surpassed all of their competitors, including the show formed by their former hosts, E.A.T, on July 19.

It can be recalled that AGB Nielsen’s data showed that Eat Bulaga returned from being the top-rated noontime show in just 19 days despite having new hosts.

In a statement, TAPE’s lawyer, Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque called the newest achievement of Eat Bulaga as an early gift for the show’s 44th anniversary on July 29.

“We are beyond words. Thank you is not enough for our Kapuso. We promise to do better na makapagbigay ng ‘tulong at saya’ para masuklian ang pagmamahal na binibigay ng ating mga viewers to ‘Eat Bulaga,” the lawyer said.

“This is an early anniversary gift for ‘Eat Bulaga.’ Maraming salamat. Ang celebration po ng 44 years ng ‘Eat Bulaga’ ay celebration ng mga kababayan natin na tumangkilik at patuloy na tumatangkilik sa ‘Eat Bulaga’ mula noon hanggang ngayon. Salamat dahil hindi nyo kami binitiwan despite this trying time,” she added.

E.A.T led the noontime show ratings since July 18, however, observers noticed a gradual decrease in TVJ (Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon)’s newest program.

However, some fans of TVJ believed that the lowering popularity of E.A.T may be attributed to the limited coverage of TV5, and some of their fans prefer to watch the show online.

According to her, she couldn’t even recognize if the food was spoiled already because she couldn’t smell it.

Actress Ellen Adarna called out Bulgar Online’s entertainment editor Janice Navida for her way of apologizing for the reportedly misleading photo posted by the publication about the actress.

It can be recalled that the actress clarified that the money used to distribute tickets came from a company she was promoting.

“Dear bulgar online. The nerve of you guys to tag me with misleading captions you guys claiming that you are “boses ng pinoy” put us pinoys to shame. You can do better. Misleading write ups are so low. Lakas nyo maka false advertising,” she said.

In a Facebook post, Navida informed Adarna that they already corrected the title of their news about the actress giving away free concert tickets.

Adarna then reminded Navida that she almost filed a complaint against Bulgar due to their report about her son Elias.

“Seems like you havent learned your lesson. Ikaw na nga nagkamali diba? Ganito kapa mag reply. Parang hindi naman magandang example ito sa kabataan kung eto ang way of correcting or fixing your mistake,” she said.

Janice Jurado, reveals her past ‘secret relationship’ with Fernando Poe Jr: “Magpapa-anak ako kahit apat!”

Veteran actress Janice Jurado claimed that she had a secret relationship with the late King of Filipino movies, Fernando Poe Jr.

In an interview, Janice said they had a relationship with the actor for seven years but successfully hid it in public.

According to her, only the closest people to FPJ were aware of their relationship.

“Seven years. Du’n kami sa kuwadra lagi o kaya sa bahay,” she said.

She even claimed that Susan Roces, the legal wife of FPJ, knew about their relationship.

However, their relationship didn’t produce offspring because of her inability to become pregnant.

But if she only had that chance, she would give as many children to the late actor.

“Nako kung ako nabubuntis pa non, magpapaanak ako kahit apat. Kasi nung time na ‘yon naaksidente na ko, pumasok ‘yung manibela sa tiyan ko, tumama sa matres ko,” she said.

Janice was currently working with one of FPJ’s children, Lovi Poe, on Batang Quiapo.

Coincidentally, Janice revealed her relationship with FPJ amid the claims made by another actress Sabrina M. who said that she had a relationship with another late actor, Rico Yan.

The veteran actress already revealed the same thing in 2018.

She narrated that she was not allowed to visit FPJ’s wake and burial in 2004 to avoid Susan.

“Shout out ka rin po,” Buboy said.

“Shout out po, hello po bossing!” the contestant said, referring to former Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto.

Buboy quickly withdrew his microphone away from the contestant.

“I love you too!” the host told the contestant.

It can be recalled that Vic, together with Tito Sotto and Joey de Leon, filed charges against the noontime show’s production company TAPE Inc.

This is not the first time that someone greeted the legendary trio on the said segment.

Last June 14, a winner of the same segment also greeted TVJ.

Carlos Agassi clashes with LGBT community after releasing his new single ‘Milk Tea’

Carlos Agassi returned with a bang after quickly becoming controversial after releasing his newest single ‘Milk Tea.’

The said song was quickly criticized by the LGBTQIA+ community because of its lyrics that allegedly made fun of transwomen.

One of the known members of the LGBTQIA+ community, Miss Mela Habijan, quickly called out Carlos and asked him to do something right if he wanted to return from showbiz.

“I understand that you may be trying to revive your showbiz career or at the least, be relevant, but I suggest, do it right!” said Mela, who’s also the first winner of Miss Trans Global.

“The ingredients to how people bounce back in life: real talent, hard work, charisma, and treating people right. Work on these!” she added.

“Ako sumikat ikaw laos na di pa sumisikat huhu iyak yarn, hanap kakampi,” Carlos responded.

The response made by Carlos received criticism from the netizens, calling him ‘childish’ for his way of reacting to Mela’s advice.

“See the effect of going to the gym and too much supplements that your gray matter dried up and natira na lang yung muscles sa biceps. And I didnt know sikat po pala kayo, like when?” netizen @kyusie_addie said.

“Jericho Rosales, Piolo Pascual, and Diether Ocampo would never be this rude,” netizen Daddy Cavill said.

Meanwhile, Carlos explained that his song never meant to criticize the LGBT community but to praise them.

“Milk Tea By Carlos Agassi is supposed to be a romantic comedy song, respecting and supporting all genders especially LGBTQ community which are open minded and would understand and appreciate my point since most of them are talented in the entertainment industry,” he said.

“I explained a hundred times that I interpreted this song has a happy ending. In the music video they kissed after knowing that she is trans,” he added.

Giselle “G” Toengi reminded her followers on social media who were planning to watch ‘Here Lies Love’ at Broadway Theater in New York to follow the ‘safety protocols.’

The actress made the statement after one Filipino fan who watched the show entered the dressing room of one of its cast, Lea Salonga, without permission from the international singer.

The incident had been captured and uploaded by one of the fans, Christopher Carpila, who admitted that they were surprised by Lea’s reaction.

In the video, one of Carpila’s friends can be heard mentioning Toengi’s name, claiming that they were connected to the actress who’s one of the co-producer of the show.

After the incident, Giselle gave clear instructions to the fans who wanted to meet their idols after the show.

“If you want the chance to meet the cast and get your playbills signed, please proceed directly out of the theater to the stage door after the show,” Giselle said.

“So are you’re saying don’t sneak past security, invade the sacred haven of artists, then drop your name to get a picture with Lea?” one of Giselle’s friends, referring to the Lea’s dressing room incident.

“Bingo!” Giselle responded.

Meanwhile, the Filipino fan insisted that they didn’t do something wrong, and the security personnel also guided them to enter the dressing room.

Isko Moreno celebrates Eat Bulaga’s higher ratings than E.A.T: Walang-hanggang pasasalamat”

Eat Bulaga host Isko Moreno celebrated the high rating gained by their noontime show, surpassing all their competitors, including E.A.T.

On July 19, Eat Bulaga proved that despite having new hosts, they still can be called the king of Philippine noontime shows as they gained the number one spot in just 19 days.

According to the data released by AGB Nutam Tv Ratings Philippines, Eat Bulaga gained a 4.12% rating compared to its competitors, E.A.T, 3.79%, and It’s Showtime, 2.76%.

Moreno couldn’t hide his happiness and even flexed the rating on his page, thanking the people who kept supporting Eat Bulaga.

Muli, walang-hanggang pasasalamat sa inyong lahat!” he added.

However, some netizens believed that rating must not be the basis to determine the number one noontime show.

“Sa totoo lang useless naman talaga kung pagbabasehan ang over all ratings, laki ng advantage ng GMA at GTV sa TV5, mahina ang signal at halos wala nga sa ibang lugar ang TV5. kita nyo naman sa Metro Manila, malakas ang TVJ, pero pagdating sa mga province, tatalunin talaga sa TV ratings, kaya nga sa Online ang laki ng lamang ng Viewership ng EAT kasi baka andun nanonood yung mga walang TV5,” netizen Erik said.
