Grace Mondina, popularly known as ‘Marites’ and ‘Miss Grace,’ went viral on social media after she showed her outfit.

In her Facebook post, Grace who became famous on social media for her collaboration with her ex-partner Joel Mondina a.k.a ‘Pambansang Kolokoy’ shared her photo while wearing a transparent dress, and highlighting her undergarments.

The photo received mixed reactions from the netizens and some asked her to stop wearing such clothing.

“I am your follower.. however, as we age with outfit like that.. for me not appropriate.. my apologies.. love you the way you dress before,” said netizen Tess.

“Wear something you gain respect im with you miss grace you can wear something above the knee but i dont like that sori,” netizen Consuelo commented.

“Wala Na pong Dapat Pang Patunayan,mas Bagay Po Yung Magdadamit Ayon sa Edad natin,” netizen Quinn remarked.

Meanwhile, some fans also defended Marites, saying that no one has the right to dictate the influencer from choosing what she must wear.

“Do whatever makes you really happy. Wear whatever you feel comfortable. Just be yourself,” netizen Sen said.

In 2022, Joel confirmed his separation from Marites and admitted that he already found a new partner.

Meanwhile, Marites still refuse to give a direct statement on their decision to part ways.

Lolit Solis calls out Arnell Ignacio: “Hindi binibigyan galang ang ibinigay sa kanyang posisyon”

Veteran columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis made another post against Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) head Arnell Ignacio for allegedly ignoring her messages.

Lolit aired her disappointment towards Arnell through her Instagram post, saying that Arnell didn’t even respect the position he bestowed upon him.

According to her, she tried to talk to Arnell after the showbiz personality-turned-government official expressed his willingness to air his side.

However, Lolit claimed that Arnell didn’t respond to her texts.

“Naku Salve, talagang eklayera ang Arnel Ignacio. Sabi niya type niya makipag usap sa atin para ipaliwanag side niya. Pero now ko napatunayan na tutoo nga sinabi ng OFW na no reply siya pag tinawagan o text. Talagang totally no reaction siya,” said Lolit.

“Bonggang Arnel Ignacio na hindi binibigyan galang ang ibinigay sa kanyang posisyon ha. Dapat sa isang employee ng gobyerno reachable sa tao dahil sabi nga ni P’Noy nuon tayo ang BOSS. Hindi alam ni Arnel Ignacio na dapat madali siyang maka usap para mas malaman niya problema ng tao. Talagang Snob siya kaya complain ng OFW hindi siya namamansin,” she added.

Lolit also mentioned Department of Social and Welfare Development (DSWD) Undersecretary Nina Taduran in her post, comparing her to Arnell.

“Buti na lang nandiyan si Nina Taduran, ang mabait na DARna di ba Salve at Gorgy, bongga,” she stated.

Lolit started to criticize Arnell last month after the columnist accused the official of ignoring a plea from an OFW.

“Medyo na off ako na hindi man lang tinulungan ni Arnel ang OFW na humingi ng tulong. Sana kahit paano tinulungan niya dahil sa mga ganitong pagkakataon parang at a lost ka na naghahanap ng isang tao na mag aayos ng problema mo,” the columnist said.

E.A.T host Tito Sotto accused the GMA of preventing him and the other complainants of the copyright infringement and unfair competition case against the Kapuso network and Television and Production Exponents (TAPE) Inc. to be interviewed.

Sotto who testified before the Marikina RTC against the charges they filed against their former network and production company was confident that he gave sufficient information to prove their accusations against the two companies.

“Ayaw ng GMA na nagpapa-interview kami, umaangal. Wag daw kaming nagpapa-interview,” said Sotto.

TVJ’s legal counsel, Atty. Buko dela Cruz even called Sotto, who’s also a lawyer as the ‘best witness ever’.

Dela Cruz also said that the successful trademark renewal granted to TAPE Inc. for Eat Bulaga branding had no effect on the appeal they filed to the Intellectual Property Office.

It can be remembered that TVJ asked the IPO to cancel TAPE’s ownership of Eat Bulaga trademark.

Meanwhile, GMA head writer Suzette Doctolero reacted to Sotto’s claim, saying that it’s not true that their network prevented the former senator to be interviewed.

She believed that the court was the one who prevented TVJ from discussing the case.

GMA head writer Suzette Doctolero questioned the frequent winners of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Lottery Draw.

It can be recalled that netizens speculated that something odd was happening due to the higher rate of Lotto winners in the past few months.

Some even accused PCSO of pocketing the prize money in the said lottery, which explained the frequent jackpot winners.

Even Doctolero noticed the same thing and asked PCSO not to be too obvious about what they were doing.

“Huwag naman pahalata masyado. Araw araw talaga may nananalo? Char! [laughing emoji]” Doctolero wrote.

Some followers of the writer also gave their opinion.

It can be recalled that last year, PCSO also received accusations of fraud after 433 people won the jackpot prize for the lotto.

Actress Yassi Pressman went viral on social media recently after she confirmed her breakup with Jon Semira through a cryptic Instagram post.

On August 12, Yassi posted several clues about her current status.

“it’s nice to be free like this hummingbird on me,” Yassi wrote.

Speculations about her status with Jon had intensified after she was spotted having sweet moments with Congressman Sandro Marcos.

Many netizens believed that Sandro and Yassi were dating due to being too close to each other during the dinner after the 2nd State of the Nation Address (SONA) of the lawmaker’s father, President Bongbong Marcos Jr.

However, on August 13, netizens started to get confused when Yassi was spotted with Camarines Sur Governor Luigi Villafuerte at the 74th Foundation Day of Bonbon.

In the said photos posted by netizen Benrome Aldrin Cabrera Viola, Villafuerte can be seen kissing the cheeks of the actress.

A video uploaded by one of the guests of the event, Lynnel Hemady showed the two while entertaining the visitors.

The guests requested that Villafuerte should be the one to kiss Yassi which the governor quickly granted.

People who attended the event couldn’t hide their excitement when the government followed their request.

As of writing Yassi has yet to confirm her status with Villafuerte.

A British blogger who’s labeled as ‘Filipino-at-heart’ because of being active in engaging with the Pinoy community wrote an open letter to drag queen Pura Luka Vega who’s facing criticisms for his controversial ‘Ama Namin’ performance.

In his Facebook post, Malcolm Conlan shared the statement released by Pura who defended himself from the persona non grata declaration against him by several cities, including Manila.

‘Tell me EXACTLY what I did wrong. I’m open for a dialogue and yet cities have been declaring persona non grata without even knowing me or understanding the intent of the performance. Drag is art. You judge me yet you don’t even know me,” said Luka.

Malcolm explained the importance of the ‘Ama Namin” prayer for the Filipino Catholics, saying disrespecting the song would trigger many faithful.

He also urged Pura to apologize and reflect on his mistakes.

“You disrespected a very important prayer and hymn (the Lord’s Prayer) which is sung in Filipino in Catholic Churches throughout the world, by your style of dance and actions.
Had you have sung it with reverence and respect, prayerfully, you would not be facing these sanctions.

“With respect, maybe it’s time for a humble apology and prayerful reflection?
I have no doubt that as is taught in the scriptures, this would most likely lead to forgiveness and maybe even reversal of these declarations of Persona non grata?

“Of course you are free to perform as a drag artist and live your life as you choose, it’s up to you entirely, BUT when you court with controversy, you must then face the consequences, when it blows up in your face.

Ricci Rivero, nanghihinayang na hindi maging parte ng Gilas sa FIBA World Cup 2023

Ricci Rivero expressed regret for missing an opportunity to represent the country in the upcoming FIBA World Cup 2023.

In an interview with Radyo5, Ricci said that he really wanted to represent the country by being part of the Gilas Pilipinas.

“Ako po opo kasi syempre, ‘yun ‘yung pinaka-target ko. Pinaka-goal ng isang athlete to represent their country,” said Ricci.

“That basically means they’re one of the best of the bests. May tiwala sa’yo yung coaches, yung system na ito lalaban ito para sa bansa.” he added.

It can be recalled that Ricci was one of the best players in the country, but his injury in 2022 forced him to take a rest from playing basketball.

Some even said that Ricci’s injury that year badly affected his gameplay.

Despite the missed opportunity, Ricci expressed his full support for the current lineup of Gilas.

Motivational Speaker Rendon Labador said that he was ready to join the next season of the popular Kapamilya reality show ‘Pinoy Big Brother’.

Rendon reacted to the satire post shared by the Facebook page Baylon Ngayon about the possibility of him joining PBB.

If ever he was given a chance, Rendon said that he would evict even the mysterious ‘Kuya’ who’s giving tasks to its contestant.

“Pag ako nakapasok sa bahay na yan, palalayasin ko pati si kuya kasi walang kuya kuya saakin. Ayoko kong tinuturan ako ng mga gagawin ko,” said Rendon.

Netizens also gave their reaction to the possible participation of the motivational speaker on the show.

In her tweet, Kylie said that she was already tired of trying to ignore the actions being made by her fans.

“Love you guys but please stop tagging me on my ex’s and his gf’s posts. Honestly kapagod yung narrative. Please lng. Thank you,” said Kylie.

She also clarified that she was already fine and she’s already enjoying her life without Aljur.

Veteran actress Janice Jurado confirmed that she was now out from the casting of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo several days after she revealed the attempt to remove her from the Kapamilya program.

In her Facebook post, Janice clarified that her reason for her removal was that her role was not needed anymore in the story.

She also told the netizens not to blame Lovie Poe for her removal.

It can be recalled that several reports indicated that Lovi was possibly upset by Janice’s claims about her secret relationship with the King of Filipino Movies, Fernando Poe Jr.
