Rudy Baldwin believed that there was an individual behind Kris Aquino’s condition.

During Ogie Diaz’s online program, they discussed the ‘visions’ published by Rudy on her Facebook page about popular celebrities whom may face misfortunes this year.

Ogie showed some of the screencap of photos made by Baldwin for the celebrities she didn’t name.

Ogie was so curious about the visions that he asked Rudy personally about it.

During the interview, Rudy disclosed the said celebrities to Ogie and later on he asked about the fortune teller’s comment on Kris Aquino’s condition.

According to Rudy, Kris’ condition could be easily be treated if she would only follow other ways to cure herself.

Rudy believed that someone was behind Kris’ condition, so she offered her services to the Queen of All Media for free.

“Para maniwala sya, ipapaharap ko siya sa salamin, meron lang siyang ihihilamos na tubig, at pagkatapos ay titingin lang siya sa salamin. Makikita niya na kung sino ang gumagawa sa kanya ng n’yan,” she said.

Veteran columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis was hoping that Gabby Concepcion would finally forgive her after she put him into the controversy because of the Manila Film Festival Scam in 1994.

It can be recalled that Lolit changed the winners of the Manila Film Festival that year in favor of his talents Gabby Concepcion and Ruffa Guttierez as winners of Best Actor and Best Actress instead of the real recipients of the award, Edu Manzano and Aiko Melendez.

After the incident, Gabby distanced himself from Lolit.

Through her Instagram post, Lolit said that she wanted to fix her issues with Gabby after three decades of being far away from each other.

“Salve kahit na very happy ako sa birthday lunch ko mas buo sana ang ligaya ko kung nagpunta si Gabby Concepcion. Talagang ng makita ko lahat ng alaga ko, pumasok sa utak ko na sana dumating si Gabby para kumpleto sila lahat,” she said.

She urged Gabby to reconcile with her as part of her birthday wish.

“Kalimutan na natin ang nakaraan Gabby, we can be good friends. No bad blood, no dark past. Friends please para bongga. Hope to see and talk with you soon, bongga,” she stated.

Camarines Sur Gov. Luigi Villafuerte and Yassi Pressman couldn’t stop showing their love to each other while performing in front of thousands of viewers at an event they had organized.

After their performance ended, Villafuerte quickly held Yassi to start a passionate act in front of their fans.

The two smooched for around ten seconds, which resulted in the live viewers cheering loudly.

Netizens commented on the unusual sweetness between the two.

“Not a fan of this kind of PDA, Yassi and Governor Vincenzo. While I get it, you’re in love, but please consider your audience. Thousands of people, including minors, are watching. As a public servant, Governor Vincenzo, you have a responsibility to set a good example. Let’s keep it respectful and classy, please. This is not the first time that the two showed their sweetness in front of the public.

There were several events where the official was shown to be too sweet to Yassi.

Last April, Yassi already hinted at her relationship with Villafuerte.

“I will give the world my love because I am so lucky to be living in and around its beautiful energy,” she said.

“Eight days before my birthday, and I’ll always be grateful for another day, another month, another year,” she added.

Kim Atienza’s daughter, Eliana, was reportedly removed from her campus and lost her home after she decided to join the protest against Israel.

According to the reports, Eliana was included among the students who were removed from the Univesity of Pennsylvania (UPenn) for joining the protest.

“I and five other students have been taken up, been forced to take a mandatory leave of absence. But what that means is, it’s a ban on campus,” she said.

“I am 19 years old, I live in a student dorm, and what that ban meant was that I couldn’t access my on-campus housing. I’ve been locked out of my dorm. I’m not allowed to access any dining hall, the library,” she added.

“I live on campus. The university has barred me from entering. In other words—the university has made me houseless,” Eliana said in another interview.

Meanwhile, Kuya Kim said that he would support the stance of his daughter.

“The family has been very supportive of her, and since we know she is fighting for human rights. Matapang siya e,” he said.

He also clarified that his daughter was homeless, not because of lack of funds, but because she was living in the university where she was barred from entering.

“Well, she’s not really homeless. It was taken out of context. She did not say we were poor. She was just banned from entering the school premises and removed from her dorm,” he stated.

Amid the breakup rumors between Yen Santos and Paolo Contis, the actress published a video that sparked speculations about her relationship status.

In her Instagram post, Yen shared a video of an interview with Boy Abunda to Heart Evangelista.

Heart talked about “self-love” during her final remarks during the interview.

“Stop giving away your heart like it’s candy. Treasure yourself. Love yourself. Treasure your heart and your soul. Because that’s what’s gonna save you in the end,” she said.

The video shared fueled the rumors that she was already separated from Paolo after several years of dating.

It can be recalled that Yen and Paolo have been together since 2022, and the actress was being blamed as the reason why the actor left his former partner, LJ Reyes.

Last year, Paolo also denied the rumors that he already left Yen.

Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi clarified her post about Miss Universe PH 2024 after receiving criticism on social media.

It can be recalled that Celeste raised the eyebrows of some pageant fans due to her cryptic message, which was interpreted as her reaction to the result of the prestigious event.

“WHAT JUST HAPPENED #muph2024,” she wrote.

After her tweet, Celeste wrote another post to praise Miss Universe Philippines 2024 4th Runner-Up Christi Lynn McGarry.

“Ang ganda ganda ni Christi tas perfect yung answer nya,” she wrote.

Her tweets were criticized as some netizens saw her tweets as her way to express her disappointment that Christi didn’t win the title. Instead, the one who was crowned was Miss Bulacan Chelsea Manalo.

Netizens also reminded Celeste about the Top 16 Miss Universe streak she ended.

However, Celeste clarified that she was only talking about the confusion in the program flow of the show.

According to her, people must stop making issues and try to make it look like she opposed the result of the pageant.

“Ya’ll need to chill. Haha. What I meant by what happened is how the other crowns were distributed. Where’s Cainta? where’s Taguig? Stop trying to make an issue, I have my bets but I fully support whoever wins,” she stated.

Questions about Alice Guo’s identity accumulate as lawmakers ask her about her wealth.

During the senate hearing led by Sen. Risa Hontiveros, Guo, who described herself as an ordinary citizen of the country, allegedly owned several luxury cars and even a helicopter.

According to Hontiveros, photos showed that Guo owned around 16 vehicles and even a helicopter, which raised the question of how she acquired such wealth since she was living in a not-so-wealthy municipality.

One of the vehicles allegedly owned by Guo was a McLaren 620R, which reportedly cost P16.7-M.

However, Guo denied that she owned many vehicles, saying that some of the vehicles shown in the photos were part of her car buy-and-sell business.

“Hindi ko na siya assets. Buy and sell din po kasi ang negosyo sa Westcars kaya may umiikot na sasakyan. Pero ang sasakyan na gamit ko ngayon GAC,” she said.

She also admitted receiving support from her father, who’s a businessman in China.

“Minsan 500K, minsan 1 million, 2 million. Hindi naman po siya on a regular basis,” she stated.

Despite her explanation, some lawmakers believed that Guo had ties with a blacklisted company.

Meanwhile, Senate President Chiz Escudero said that it would be tricky to remove Guo from her current position as Mayor.

“Oo may rason para mag-alanganin tayo, pero yung presumption ay nananatili pa rin siya ay nakatakbo, siya ay registered voter, may passport siya na Pilipino siya. Nasa nagsasabing hindi na patunayan yun,” Escudero said.

“Ang pwedeng mag-question ng kaniyang citizenship at qualification bilang mayor sa pamamagitan ng quo warranto case ay ang solicitor general lamang. Walang kapangyarihan ang Comelec i-disqualify siya sa puntong ito. Kung isususpinde man siya ng DILG baka, sabihin nila tingin nila hindi siya citizen, dapat may basehan din yun,” he added.

Ogie Diaz revealed that Ivana Alawi ignored him during his visit to FPJ Batang Quiapo’s set.

In his online program, Ogie shared his experience during his visit to Quiapo to check out one of his talents, Kim Rodriguez, who’s also part of the program.

According to Ogie, he tried to approach Ivana, but the actress didn’t respond nicely.

“Bineso ko eh, dedma… eh nahiya na ko noh, baka naman ano, sobrang lang siyang pinapawisan that time… kaya focus na focus siya ‘dun sa electric fan niya,” he said.

When his co-host asked him about the possible reason for Ivana’s treatment of him, Ogie only mentioned that it might be connected to one of the issues he discussed about the actress.

It can be recalled that Ogie was the one who discussed Ivana’s travel to Japan, where she was also spotted at the airport together with Bacolod Mayor Albee Benitez.

“Dapat ay linawin ni Ivana. Sa ganda ng kanyang income, sa ganda ng kanyang career, e bakit kailangan pang sumuot dito? Kung siya nga ‘yung tinutukoy ah,” he said.

Both Ivana and Benitez denied that they were dating each other.

“I apologize to Ms. Alawi and her family, who have been unfairly dragged into issues concerning my private life. There is no truth to any and all the rumors spreading,” said Benitez.

A woman captured the attention of It’s Showtime host, Vice Ganda, during its May 23, 2024 episode.

In the episode, Vice is talking to his co-hosts and contestants of ‘Karaokids’ when he notices a woman who resembles Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo.

“Gusto muna nating i-acknowledge ang presence… excuse me,” said Vice. “Mayor, thank you so much for gracing our show,” 

Amy Perez and other It’s Showtime co-hosts quickly told Vice he was referring to the wrong person.

However, Vice didn’t stop talking to the woman.

“Buti na lang naalala mo ang daan papunta rito,” Vice told the women, referring to Guo’s viral statement about forgetting her past.

“Dito kasi siya nag-aral. Nasaan na si Teacher Rubilyn?” he added.

The woman quickly got along with Vice.

“Hindi ko na po maalala,” she responded.

“Saan ba talaga nakatira si Teacher Rubilyn?” Vice asked the woman again.

“Your honor, hindi ko na po maalala,” she said.

The incident gave laughs to the viewers of It’s Showtime.

Meanwhile, the real Alice Guo was facing an investigation due to her refusal to give clear information about her past.

It can be recalled that the public questioned Guo’s citizenship and unexplained wealth.

Kiko Estrada didn’t hesitate to answer if he would accept any project to reunite with his ex-girlfriend, Heaven Peralejo.

In an interview with the press on May 22, 2024, Kiko said that he was not willing to work with his ex-girlfriend despite being in the same agency.

“I don’t know. Actually, I just wish her the best, but maybe I have my own thing, and she has her own thing. I mean, for me, it’s just work, but I don’t want any stress in my life,” he said.

“‘Coz this Lumuhod Ka sa Lupa came from peace, came from peace of mind, came from rebirth, if you wanna call it. A new version of yourself that you’re trying to be, a good actor. So let me be that first and let’s focus on the rest.” he added.

In 2021, Heaven confirmed her separation from Kiko.

“I want to learn independence [and] enjoy life. I don’t need any relationship. I just need my friends, and I just need me. I am really happy right now, super happy. As in, walang bigat sa puso ko, nandoon ako sa phase na ‘yon,” she said.

The separation comes six months after the two celebrities confirmed their relationship.
