Aiko Melendez fumes over an actor’s attitude: “Di porket bida ka attitude ka. Very wrong!”

Aiko Melendez couldn’t hide her disappointment towards an actor whom she only hid by the initials ‘JP’.

In a Facebook post, she criticized the actor for his attitude, saying he had no right to become arrogant even if he was a leading actor.

“DIOS MIO JP. Wag ka masyado mayabang… Wala ka pa napapatunayan sa industriya para maging mayabang! Lord turuan nyo naman itong bagets na to matutong makisama,” said Aiko.

“Di porket bida ka attitude ka. Very wrong! Seminar ka muna para maging mabait ka,” she added.

As of writing, Aiko deleted the said post after several netizens tried to guess the actor being referred by the actress.

It’s not yet known if Aiko was currently working with the said actor in her latest project.

However, her son, Andre Yllana, was working on a project with Jerome Ponce, Jairus Aquino, Krissha Viaje, and Hyacinth Callado.

It can be recalled that Aiko also took a swipe against Liza Soberano last March for her statements against her former talent manager Ogie Diaz.

“Sa nga baguhan ngayon ang payo ko lang be Humble enough to admit that whatever achievement you have achieved in life is not just about you! Its about the people around you na me malasakit sayo na pagandahin ang karera mo matuto magpasalamat.” she stated.

Jay Manalo denies that he’s a ‘boy toy’ of Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia: “Check muna nila kung pamilyado ba yung ginagamit nilang name.”

Actor Jay Manalo had denied that he was a ‘boy toy’ of Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia who was facing accusations from Cebu-based doctor Rowena Burden.

In her Facebook post, Burden published a blind item against a certain actor who’s allegedly having a secret relationship with Garcia.

In an interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph), Manalo said that he didn’t even know Garcia personally so it was impossible for him to have a relationship with the politician.

“Hindi ko talaga siya kilala, kahit sino sa kanilang dalawang magkaaway,” said Jay.

He also said that he rarely visited Cebu and his last travel there was to attend a basketball event.

Jay also asked the Doctor not to drag him into the controversy.

“Please, huwag ninyong gamitin ang name ko dahil pamilyadong tao ako. Never akong napupunta sa Cebu,” the actor plead.

“I really don’t know her and I never met her. Hindi ko siya kilala personally at never kami nag-meet niyan,” he added.

Meanwhile, Burden clarified that she was not referring to an actor with ‘JM’ initials, but with ‘AC’, so obviously she was not referring to Jay.

“The initials are CA, not JM. JM, my friends find acceptable. CA unanimous decision against,” the doctor said.

Jay reacted to Rowena’s clarification and he was thankful that she cleared his name.

“Salamat kay Burden kung sino man siya. Well, balita yan, e, wala tayo magagawa diyan. Sana lang, check na muna nila kung yung tao bang idadamay nila ay pamilyado o hindi,” he stated.

Chino Trinidad, ibinunyag kung bakit niya iniwan ang GMA News matapos ang 23 na taon: “Wish ko lang sana nagtapos ng maayos”

Former GMA Sports Journalist Chino Trinidad revealed why he left the Kapuso channel after 23 years.

In an interview with Politiko Live, Chino narrated his closeness to the late broadcaster Mike Enriquez, saying that the latter was the one who brought him to GMA Network.

“Alam niyo kung gaano kalaki ang utang na loob ko kay Mike Enriquez? Siya lang naman ang nagdala sakin sa GMA in 2000 noong kinuha niya ako sa DZBB and that started my career, give my family life, gave me a platform for the last 23 years,” Chino said.

He then gave a hint about how things ended for him as a Kapuso journalist.

“Wish ko lang sana nagtapos ng maayos,” said Chino. “Hindi sa paraan na ‘yung pagtatapos ay mapait, maganda sana na you only have fond memories of the network you served and gave you a platform,”

Chino also complained that her media accreditation with FIBA was removed after he stopped working with GMA, a hint that he wanted to do a solo career as a sports journalist.

“Hindi na nga ako binigyan ng accreditation, tinanggal pa ‘yung accreditation ko sa FIBA.. Ang na-miss out ko is ‘yung opportunity para maging mata, bibig ng mga nagmamahal sa basketball,” he stated.

Sorry if mayabang ako at pinost ko pa to. But this is something I’m sure most public officials get on a daily basis. People don’t respect you anymore. And I REFUSE to be treated this way. I will find you and talk to your parents personally!” Quiambao said.

A pastor from Cagayan de Oro who went viral on social media last month for his alleged involvement in the case of a slain college student Adrian Rovic Fornillos has been subpoenaed by the prosecutors.

It can be recalled that Lapasan Baptist Church Bishop Dimver Andales became trending on social media after he was accused of being a ‘sugar daddy’ of the victim’s girlfriend Jone Oro.

Andales denied the allegations against him and even said that he would file charges against the people who spread the rumors.

The pastor insisted that the rumors being spread against him were only meant to tarnish his reputation.

However, even the family of the victim believed in Andales’ involvement.

“The complaint would show that [the pastor] has direct participation,” Atty, Dake Bryan Mordeno, the lawyer of Fornillos’ family said in a text message.

The prosecutors asked Andales to answer the complaint within 10 days.

According to the posts circulated on social media, Oro was allegedly aware of the pastor’s plan.

It was reported that the alleged ‘sugar daddy’ of the victim’s girlfriend was upset after he discovered that Fornillos was planning to wed Oro in the future.

Even the authorities confirmed that there was a ‘love triangle’ involved in the case.

Lala Sotto sa kanyang pagdedesisyon bilang pinuno ng MTRCB: “The basis would be my spiritual conviction”

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) Chairperson Lala Sotto received criticism from the netizens after her past interview had been circulated on social media.

In the said interview, Sotto said that her basis for moderating content being aired on television and film was her ‘spiritual conviction’ and she would not allow any shows that would ‘disturb’ the minds of children.

“My basis would be my spiritual conviction,” said Sotto. “As long as it is causing any form of disturbance, to the mind of a child, I don’t think I can allow it.”

The video was uploaded after the MTRCB released their decision to suspend It’s Showtime for 12 airing days.

However, several netizens reminded the chair about the gestures done by her father Tito Sotto, and mother Helen Gamboa during one of the episodes of the noontime show E.A.T.

During the said episode, the veteran television host could be seen kissing his wife for 44 years.

The agency head defended the actions of her father.

“Hello tita (Pilar) naman 44 yrs na sila ganyan sa Eat Bulaga never naman nagka-issue,” Lala said.

MTRCB clarifies that their head Lala Sotto inhibits herself from voting on the decision against It’s Showtime

The Movie and Television Review and Classification (MTRCB) clarified that the 12-day airing suspension against It’s Showtime was not yet finalized and the program was still allowed to air.

In an interview, Sotto said that they could suspend It’s Showtime on September 5 after they released the decision, however, they wanted to give the Kapamilya show a chance to appeal.

“With others, puwede naman talagang ma-suspend na kanina pa lang. But no, again, in the spirit of fairness, we’re giving them the chance kaya hindi sila suspended today. We will wait for its finality,”  said Sotto.

Sotto also denied that she was favoring the noontime show of her father Tito Sotto who produced E.A.T, one of the competitors of It’s Showtime on noontime slot.

However, she understood that some fans would really criticize her.

“No, that is not true. Siguro natural lang naman sa mga supporters ang maging ganoon ang pakiramdam kasi siguro naririnig nila na parating na-re-report. But hindi po kasalanan ng MTRCB ang violations na ginagawa nila,” said Sotto.

She also made it clear that she inhibited herself from voting on the decision related to the fate of the Kapamilya program.

It can be recalled that several fans blamed Sotto and some accused the chair of trying to boost the ratings of E.A.T by lessening the competition.
