Crissia denied being attracted to Philmar and only wanted to meet him due to her interest in professional surfing.

Andi then released a response, which some netizens believed was a criticism of Crissia’s alleged clout-chasing.

However, a netizen said that Crissia should not be blamed for the issue, as they believed that Philmar was trying to be “clingy” with the content creator.

According to the netizen who introduced herself as an associate of the content creator, Crissia was already trying to leave after taking a photo with Philmar, but the professional surfer wanted to continue their interaction.

“They know each other and walang something sa kanila, gusto lang nilang mag-enjoy at mag bonding,” the netizen said.

“Hindi naman kasalanan ng amo ko kung clingy si Philmar sa kanya,” she added.

Netizens couldn’t stop comparing Sarah Lahbati and Barbie Imperial after photos of them while taking culinary lessons at a popular school in Manila circulated on social media.

The photos show that Sarah and Barbie took a cooking lesson at the Center for Culinary Arts (CCA).

Some netizens wrote comments and alleged that Barbie tried to imitate Sarah.

Tito Mars went viral on social media after it was revealed that he would become part of GMA Network’s program, Black Rider.

GMA Network published the teaser of Tito Mars’ appearance on the show, where he would portray a character that may be similar to his internet persona.

Tito Mars was known for his pretending-to-be-rich content and received criticism recently due to his videos of trying to eat foods that normal Filipinos eat.

According to some netizens, GMA’s decision to hire Tito Mars as talent may be risky.

“Inaayos ko nga ang social media, bigla naman sinuportahan ng GMA ang mga content creators na umaapak sa mga kababayan nating mahihirap. Hindi ako natuwa,” said Rendon.

Meanwhile, a video of Aleck Bovick while having a confrontation with Tito Mars also went viral on social media.

It might be a teaser of Tito Mars’ debut on Black Rider as it was uploaded by GMA Network.

The PBA Motoclub ended its silence after it was tagged several times on social media due to the possible connections between businessman Gerrard Raymund Yu and the group.

It can be recalled that Yu was suspected of ending the life of a motorist during a traffic argument on May 27, 2024.

Yu, already under the authorities’ custody, was believed to be connected to PBA Motoclub, founded by former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Rico Maierhofer and Jayjay Helterbrand.

Photos of Yu wearing a t-shirt of the club went viral on social media.

In a statement, the group admitted that Yu was ‘associated’ with their group, but it doesn’t mean they would defend his actions.

They also extended their condolences to the family of the victim.

Meanwhile, Yu asked the public to stop judging him and insisted that he was a kind man.

“Mabuti po tayong tao, hindi po tayo masama… Nakikiusap lang po ako sa mga tao ng ‘wag naman po husgahan tayo,” he said.

The social media manager of the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards (FAMAS) clarified that Eva Darren was not picked as a presenter during last week’s controversial awards night.

It can be recalled that the 72nd FAMAS received criticism on social media after Eva’s son claimed that his mother was replaced by the organizers at the last minute of the event.

However, Johnrey Rivas, a member of the FAMAS staff, denied that they picked Eva as the event’s presenter.

According to Johnrey, Eva was not included in the script as the veteran actress was not approved to become the presenter of FAMAS.

He revealed that FAMAS originally wanted Tirso Cruz III and Glaiza de Castro to become the presenter of the awards night, but unfortunately, the actress was not allowed by her management.

FAMAS then asked veteran actress Nova Villa to replace Glaiza, but her poor eyesight prompted the organizers to replace her at the last minute.

Johnrey said that Nova was the one who complained about her eyesight.

Basketball star James Yap and his Italian partner, Michela Cazzola, reportedly called it quits after several years of their relationship.

Talent manager and entertainment reporter Ogie Diaz revealed that his source already confirmed the separation between the two.

The man who was being accused of ending the life of another motorist after a traffic argument appealed to the public to stop judging him based on the reports about him.

In an interview, the suspect, Gerrard Raymund Yu, insisted that he was a kind man.

“Mabuti po tayong tao, hindi po tayo masama… Nakikiusap lang po ako sa mga tao ng ‘wag naman po husgahan tayo,” he said.

He made the statement despite the investigators’ findings, which could strongly link Yu to what happened to the motorist Aniceto Mateo.

Even one of the witnesses positively identified Yu.

Yu, a Pasig City-based businessman, was driving a Mercedes Benz car when the confrontation between him and Mateo happened.

The suspect’s vehicle was registered under Yu’s name, and he even noticed that he had changed the car’s plate number after the incident.

When asked about the evidence against him, Yu refused to talk and referred the reporters to his lawyer.

Model Dominic Roque filed charges against Cristy Fermin before the Pasig City Office of the Prosecutor due to the veteran columnist’s statements about him.

According to the charges, Cristy made several untruthful statements against Dominic in her online show, “Showbiz Now Na,” amid the heat of the discussion about the model’s breakup with Bea Alonzo.

Actress Lie Reposposa aired her disappointments online after she received a message from their neighbor, who reminded her to support her family.

In the message, the neighbor, Marecar Santos, told her that her family was struggling to provide food for themselves every day while she was living comfortably in the city.

“Hoy! tulungan mo mama mo magabayad sa mga utang niya at sa tubig sa kuryente, wag pasarap jan sa kwarto mo magbigay ka naman ng pagkain sa mga kapatid mo tuyo at mantika lang ulam nila ikaw pa makdo- makdo at Jolibee kapa, kapatid mo at panay lawoy lang ulam nila wala pang subak,” Marecar wrote.

In response, Lie wrote a lengthy post about her struggles as a breadwinner of their family, saying that she supported seven people.

In another video, Diwata told other content creators that he couldn’t accommodate his fans daily due to his tight schedule.

Despite his explanation, Diwata still received criticism from the netizens, calling out his attitude.
