Sports announcer Tito Mikee expresses dismay over an event organizer who wants him to hide his tattoo: “My tattoos make me bad for kids?”

Sports announcer and internet celebrity Mikee Reyes, popularly known as ‘Tito Mikee,’ expressed disappointment with the request made by the organizers of an event he was supposed to attend.

In his Facebook post, Reyes shared his conversation with one of the organizers who asked him to wear long sleeves because there were children that would attend the event.

“I understand po. 🙂 Family day daw po and there will be a lot of kids kaya pinapatanong lang po. But I’ll let them know po,” the organizer told Reyes.

Reyes assumed that the organizers do not want to children to see his tattoos.

“You could’ve just told me na ang attire is formal or need na longsleeves, and i wouldnt look into it,” he said.

“My tattoos make me bad for kids? Pano kung may ma-impart pala sana akong maganda sakanila?” he added.

The influencer also said that he would never choose to be ‘someone else’, saying that he already achieved many things and met many friends by being himself.

Thousands of netizens expressed their support for Reyes, saying that there’s nothing wrong with having tattoos.

As of writing, the organizer of the event has yet to give any statement on the influencer’s post.
