Journalist Ben Tulfo talked about the gestures made by Vice Ganda and his boyfriend Ion Perez during a segment dedicated to children on It’s Showtime.
It can be recalled that many netizens criticized the said episode because children were present and watching Vice and Ion while eating a cake seductively.
During an episode of BITAG, Tulfo talked about the contents being shown to the public and the criticisms received by It’s Showtime from some viewers who watched the said episode.
He also discussed how television shows like It’s Showtime and its hosts influenced children who were watching the program.
Tulfo then mentioned the actions being made by MTRCB against several programs in the past, which showed indecent content to the public.
According to Tulfo, shows must be sensitive in what they were showing to the public, especially if the program was accessible to people with different beliefs.
“See that mga boss? Sumusobra, pinagduduldulan, nagno-naughty finger habang naghahalikan, yuck!” Tulfo said, referring to Vice and Ion’s gesture during a concert last June.
Motivational Speaker Rendon Labador went viral on social media after criticizing the said gestures made by Vice and Ion.
Surprisingly, Rendon who’s often being criticized by netizens had been receiving support from the public for criticizing Vice.
