MTRCB nagbabala sa mga show na maging maingat matapos masilipan si Regine Tolentino sa It’s Showtime

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) Chairperson Lala Sotto reminded all television shows to protect their talents and prevent any incident of wardrobe malfunctions during their performance.

In the memorandum released by MTRCB, they urged the people working at television shows to handle the costumes being worn by their talents with utmost care to prevent such incidents.

The agency didn’t mention any television show in their memorandum, but it was released after artist Regine Tolentino experienced a wardrobe malfunction during her performance on It’s Showtime on July 14.

MTRCB warned that they would ‘dealt with more severely’ if the same incident happened again.

In her vlog, Regine admitted that she only had a short time preparing for the costume that she wear during the performance.

She also apologized for the incident and felt embarrassed about what happened.

“Unfortunately, when I started dancing na super hataw I had a mishap that I discovered halfway through my performance,” Regine said.

“I would like to extend my apologies for this unfortunate incident. I appreciate the effort of the It’s Showtime! family for protecting me by removing my part on Youtube and disabling the fast forward and rewind feature.” she added.

The performance of Regine had been quickly removed by It’s Showtime.
