Barbie Forteza went viral on social media after a netizen noticed that the actress posted a photo without her boyfriend Jak Roberto.
On April 17, 2023, Barbie received thousands of opinions from the netizens because her boyfriend posted a couple’s photo while she only posted a solo picture.
The photo was taken during the Aurora Music Fest in Clark, Pampanga.
Some netizens suspected that Barbie didn’t flex her boyfriend because of it might affect her love team with David Licauco.
“May pinapangalagaan,” netizen Harizson said.
“Yung kasama sya sa pamangarap mo pero ikaw dka kasama sa pangarap nya hahahaha,” netizen Paul commented.
“Mas gusto nya ata kasama si fidel (David) hahahhaa,” netizen Maida remarked.
It can be recalled that there were rumors that Jak was being jealous of David, who was the current leading man of his girlfriend.
Some fans even wanted David to be in a real relationship with Barbie.
In an interview, David was not even sure if Jak was happy with his girlfriend’s love team.
“I feel like maiintindihan naman ni Jak ‘yung situation kasi artista rin siya. Siguro kapag hindi siya artista, I’m pretty sure na magseselos siya sa ganun kasi hindi niya alam ‘yung situation sa industry,”
“Mabait na tao si Jak, [at] masipag siya. I feel like he is secure naman with himself. I don’t think that’s an issue. I mean, at least for me. Hindi ko alam kung meron silang ganung klaseng issue but I don’t think so.
“Hindi ako sure. Hindi ko alam. Sana wala,” David said when asked if he was aware that Jak was being jealous.
