The husband of the popular online seller Jelyn Dablo pleads with the content creators not to create more videos about his late wife.
In a Facebook post, John Karlo ‘JK’ Dablo criticized some content creators who featured the story of his wife, who passed away after a five-year battle with endometrial cancer.
JK was the one who broke the news to the netizens, and it quickly went viral on social media because of the lesson shared by the online seller before passing away.
However, some content creators misled the netizens and changed some of the facts about Jelyn’s passing.
“Please STOP making videos of my LATE WIFE. It is all Obvious that all of your intentions are not PURE. Pinagkakakitaan nyo sa VIEWS, like and Subscriptions SA CHANNEL NYO and PAGE. We tried to message some of these content creators and guess what, we were told that the video they posted pertaining to my wife was for pure ENTERTAINMENT purposes only!!!”JK said.
“My family and MY WIFE are not for your entertainment, were not your clowns. Please do not make a living out of our own misery.
Ginagawa nyong kasiyahan Yung kalungkutan namin sa buhay.” he added.
According to him, the said videos badly affected the image of his wife.
“You paraded my wife’s lifeless body on the cover of your videos and made her face a clickbait so you can gain fame and money.” he stated.
It can be recalled that millions of netizens talked about Jelyn after she blamed her unhealthy lifestyle for what happened to her.
“Hindi talaga ako healthy noon, wala naman akong bisyo, hindi naman ako naninigarilyo, nag-iinom ako pero light lang. Yung mga apple, ayun tapos po ano bihira lang din po akong mag gulay, puro instant foods nalang. Malaki talagang epekto ang pagkain sa katawan natin.. Sisingilin tayo sa bandang huli,” she said.
