Former actress Francine Prieto released her inner anti-Duterte after she criticized the President on Twitter.
One day before President Rodrigo Duterte was scheduled to deliver his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA), the Prieto made a cryptic tweet on how the Filipinos were not taking action despite the bad things being done to them.
When someone told her that they should correct things in 2022, Prieto wished the President to resign, belittling the abilities of Duterte to govern on a national scale.
One day after she made the said tweets, Prieto expressed dissatisfaction with the topics Duterte discussed in his SONA.
In another tweet, Prieto said that military men were not needed in the current situation of the country.
According to her, the crisis should be handled by experts and not people from military.
“Yes we deserve better. Unahing palitan ng totoong experts. No offense to the military men pero hindi sila yung kailangan,” she said.
This is not the first time that Prieto asked President Duterte to resign.
In May, the former actress said that it’s better for the chief executive to resign or just let Vice President Leni Robredo handle the current problem of the country.
