Businessman and philanthropist Francis Leo Marcos slammed journalist Arnold Clavio for mentioning him into his radio show as one of the possible scammers being investigated by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Marcos’ temper rose during his live video and challenged Clavio in a fistfight.
The businessman couldn’t understand why Clavio criticized him while he’s only trying to help the people.
He even vowed to criticize Clavio everyday and the journalist has no right to explain because he started it.
According to him, Clavio is the one who should be investigated by NBI, saying that the journalist allegedly posted false news about a hospital in Metro Manila.
Marcos also pointed out that during the interview with Clavio, NBI cybercrime division head Victor Lorenzo refused to name they’re being investigated amid the COVID-19 crisis.
In another video, Marcos said that he would forgive Clavio if he’s going to distribute two kilos of rice for every family in Tondo, Manila.
“Pag hindi mo nagawa, mas masakit at mas maaanghang na salita ang ipapakain ko ‘sayo hanggang sa matunaw ka,” he said.
On April 7, Clavio mentioned Marcos during an interview with a high-ranking NBI official.
Lorenzo mentioned one case where a man would show generosity to the people by giving sacks of rice to them and challenge the wealthy people to do the same.
Clavio then asked Lorenzo if he’s referring to Marcos.
“Ganoon kasi ‘yung style niya, challenge… mayaman challenge diba?” Clavio said.
