Controversial social media personality Peejay Dela Cruz, popularly known as ‘Otlum,’ made a huge revelation during his appearance on Korina Sanchez’s Rated K.

During the episode last June 30, Otlum introduced his children to the public for the first time since becoming popular on social media.

According to Otlum, the last time he met his children was in December, and even if he wanted to, he couldn’t always be with them because of the lack of opportunities in their province.

He also shared that he was separated from the mother of his children, but he was thankful that they already accepted it.

Otlum was also happy that his children didn’t judge his decision to become a member of the LGBT.

“Alam nilang bakla ako. ‘Pag tinanong mo si Paolo, ‘Paolo, sinong bakla?’ [Sasabihin niya], ‘Si Tatay!’

It can be recalled that Otlum became infamous on social media after his video of snatching a phone went viral on social media.

He was also known for his rocky relationship with other content creators.

Boy Dila, may mensahe sa rider na kanyang binasa

The infamous ‘Boy Dila’ of San Juan, now a content creator, was looking for the delivery rider who made him popular on social media.

In a Facebook post, Lexter ‘Boy Dila’ Castro asked his followers to look for the rider he had poured water on during the ‘Wattah Wattah’ festival on June 24.

Castro wanted to give the rider a brand-new helmet and rainproof jacket.

It’s not yet known if Castro’s gesture was intended to reconcile with the rider or if he was only trying to create social media content about his possible meeting with the latter.

It can be recalled that Castro was unapologetic for his actions during the festival.

Surprisingly, San Juan officials never talked about Boy Dila despite being one of the most infamous figures during the festival.

Veteran actress Nadia Montenegro disclosed the possible reason why she became blind in one eye.

In an interview with Julius Babao, Nadia said that her blindness started during a golf tournament she attended in 2008.

At that time, Nadia was hungry and very thirsty, so she decided to grab an energy drink because it was available at the event.

However, after she drank the energy drink, she started to feel cramps in her stomach.

“Uminom ako ng energy drink it was a golf tournament, gutom na gutom ako, uhaw na uhaw, ‘yun lang ang una kong nakita, ‘yun ang ininom ko,” said Nadia.

“After one hour, kala ko mag LBM na ko, ‘yun pala pagbanyo ko, dugo-dugo na ‘yung lumabas, nabutas na pala ‘yung tiyan ko,” she added.

She was rushed to a hospital in Cavite, but due to her severe bleeding, she was transferred again to St. Luke’s.

According to Nadia, both of her eyes were blinded due to the bleeding she experienced.

Fortunately, the doctors managed to save her other eye.

“I can see now. It’s a miracle. I was medically blind because 70% of my retina was torn but because of my Doctor Naval, now I can see. After three surgery,” Nadia said in an interview in 2009.

The resident of San Juan City, who went viral on social media, was seen enjoying his newly-found fame by interacting with his new fans and critics.

In his live video, Lexter Castro, a.k.a Boy Dila, toured his fans and critics around San Juan City with his friends.

He could also be seen trying to address his critics and teasing them to show that he was not affected by the criticism he had received on social media.

But one of the highlights of the livestream was when he mentioned his ‘Godfather’ or ‘ninong’ and thanked him for his support.

“Ninong alam mo na kung sino ka, I love it,” said Castro while sticking his tongue out.

Netizens tried to speculate about the identity of Castro’s Godfather.

Some of them believed that the certain ‘Ninong’ was the reason San Juan City officials did not summon Castro despite him being the most popular among the individuals involved during the unruly ‘Wattah, Wattah’ Festival last June 24.

It can be recalled that Castro openly admitted that he poured water on a delivery rider despite the pleading from the latter not to do it.

Despite his open admission, Castro never been mentioned or summoned by San Juan City officials as of writing.

The doctors explained the exact cause of the content creator, Dongz Apatan’s untimely passing.

In a report by GMA Network, the family of the content creator admitted that they were aware that he already had high blood pressure, but they still didn’t stop him from doing his extreme eating habits.

They also insisted that Dongz was eating moderately and not always eating fatty foods.

However, a doctor contradicted the claims of the content creator, saying that the latter suffered from a severe consequence of high blood pressure.

Dr. Leachon also said that the Mukbang content creators like Dongz were promoting bad eating habits and may also encourage other netizens to eat unmoderated.

“Lesson learn ito sa ating lahat, pag naging habit ito, your habits dictates your behavior and your behavior determines your destiny, ang pagkain talaga pag sobra hindi maganda lalo na kapag maalat, mataba at matamis,” he said.

Dongz suffered the same condition as veteran journalist Arnold Clavio, but the latter fortunately survived.

One of the close friends of Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes couldn’t hide her disappointment after she received a message from a follower who asked her an absurd request.

In her Facebook post, Bea Borres showed the private message she received from a follower who thought they would get money for house construction in exchange for likes.

The said follower, who claimed to be 14 years old, told Bea that they didn’t want to share a house with another family anymore.

This is what the message indicates:

Bea aired her sentiments on how the social media begging was “getting out of hand.”

It can be recalled that some individuals were already using modern mediums like social media to beg for money.

The children of the content creator who passed away due to his alleged extreme eating habits would attempt to continue the social media activities of their father.

It can be recalled that on June 14, 2024, Iligan-based content creator Dongz Apatan passed away suddenly due to cardiac arrest, which is believed to be connected to eating fatty foods.

His last content showed how he ate a whole cow’s head alone.

According to Dongz’s sister, Leah Apatan, they planned to continue content creation by featuring her brother’s children.

However, unlike the usual content of Dongz’s, they vowed to only eat healthy foods during their ‘Mukbang’ sessions to avoid another unfortunate incident.

Some netizens promised they would still follow the page and support the upcoming content of Dongz’s children.

Meanwhile, experts reminded the netizens to dine in moderation and always check their health before eating fatty foods.

A delivery rider filed a formal complaint against a resident of San Juan City after he experienced too much inconvenience after being damped by water during the ‘Wattah, Wattah Festival’ last Monday, June 24.

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora personally accommodated the delivery rider at the Office of the Prosecutor.

According to the rider, he asked the resident not to pour water on him due to his work, but the latter showed unruly behavior.

When the rider tried to stop the resident, the latter started to smash him with the water dipper and hit him with his fist.

The resident may face a minor penalty for his unruly behavior if only City Ordinance No. 51 is applied. This ordinance penalizes residents with a fine of P2,500 to P5,000 within six days of being put behind bars.

Zamora also apologized for his constituents’ behavior.

Meanwhile, netizens were waiting if the infamous ‘Boy Dila’ would also be charged after he admitted his unruly behavior during the festival.

The infamous resident of San Juan City has expressed his disappointment after he received many fake bookings after his identity was revealed on social media.

It can be recalled that Lexter Castro went viral on social media and was labeled as ‘Boy Dila’ by netizens after he was spotted pouring water on a delivery rider during the ‘Wattah, Wattah Festival’ last Monday, June 24.

After the incident, Castro’s identity was quickly revealed on social media, and he started to receive unpaid random items he didn’t order.

Some of the items include appliances, gadgets, and other expensive items, which he obviously cannot pay for.

Castro also received a funeral flower from an unknown individual, which can be considered a serious warning to him.

The flower cost P2,500 and obviously wasn’t paid by Castro.

Angas oh,” said Castro.

Meanwhile, some netizens were asking San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora to summon Castro for his alleged unruly behaviour during the fiesta and stop him from taking advantage of the issue to become a popular content creator.

The man who became infamous on social media for pouring water on a delivery rider during the ‘Wattah, Wattah’ or Basaan Festival in San Juan last Monday, June 24, decided to take advantage of his popularity.

On June 27, 2024, Boy Dila, or Lexter Castro, decided to use the criticism he received on social media as his stepping stone to become the next big content creator in the Philippines.

His first piece of content was his explanation of the viral video where he was seen trying to tease the delivery rider he was trying to wet during the festival.

According to him, people should stop going to San Juan every June 24 if they didn’t want to face any inconvenience as the festival was already a common knowledge to all Filipino people.

Several content creators have already expressed their interest in collaborating with Lexter, including the controversial Taragis Takoyaki shop, which also went viral several months ago due to their misleading marketing practices.

Meanwhile, San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora reminded the public that they can file complaints against their citizens who showed unruly behavior during the festival.
