Mark Andrew Yulo’s live stream quickly became controversial after he took a swipe several times against his own son, two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, and his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose.

Mark talked to his followers in his live stream and urged them to just ‘pray’ for Carlos and Chloe.

Mr. Yulo also believed that Carlos and Chloe were still in the clouds to realize what may happen soon to them.

It can be recalled that Mr. Yulo’s treatment of his son suddenly changed after he reportedly saw the social media comment made by Carlos against his mother, Angelica Yulo.

In the said comment, Carlos could be seen calling his mother a ‘magna’ or a thief, which made the Yulo patriarch so disappointed.

Mr. Yulo then urged Carlos to apologize to his mother immediately.

However, Carlos didn’t even make any response to the pleas made by his father.

Mark Andrew Yulo went viral on social media after he publicly criticized his own son, two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo.

During a live stream, Mr. Yulo was talking to his followers when some followers of Carlos accused him of milking the popularity of his son.

They even urged him to apologize to Carlos for openly criticizing him on social media.

However, instead of apologizing, Mr. Yulo insisted that Carlos may be the one who was milking them from the start.

“Baka ako ang ginatasan ni Caloy. Kinuha nya semilya ko tapos ginanyan nya na kami,” said Mr. Yulo.

It can be recalled that Carlos and Mr. Yulo were on good terms during the first weeks of the issue between the gymnast and his family.

Mr. Yulo even approached his son during the heroes’ welcome for the athlete.

Carlos also vowed to meet his father ‘soon,’ but according to some sources, the Yulo family still couldn’t contact the gold medalist after he announced his intention.

The Yulo patriarch then suddenly changed his tune and published comments against his son on social media.

He urged Carlos to apologize to his mother, Angelica Yulo, for accusing her of being a ‘thief.’

As of writing, Carlos has yet to give a response to his father.

Internet celebrity Chloe San Jose also released ‘receipts’ as a retaliation to the screencaps released by a gymnastics coach showing her messages against Mrs. Angelica Yulo.

In her Facebook post, Chloe posted some of the Facebook posts published by the members of the Yulo family, which she believed was a swipe against her.

Some screencaps even showed Eliza and Karl Eldrew Yulo taking swipes against Chloe.

According to her, she was only trying to defend herself from the criticisms she received from her boyfriend’s family.

“I’m not here to please anyone, i know what i did and didn’t. feel free to keep believing whatever you see and read online, it doesn’t matter—i know my truth and so does the people around me, most specially mahal Carlos. the universe has my back,” said Chloe.

It can be recalled that Chloe was the one being blamed for causing the rift between two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and his family.

However, Chloe repeatedly denied the allegations and even insisted that they apologized many times to the Yulo family.

A renowned lawyer and educator reminded the netizens about a law that indicates children’s responsibility over their parents and family.

In his tweet, Atty. Mel Sta. Maria reminded his followers that Article 195 of the Family Code clearly showed that helping parents was an ‘obligation’ for children.

Sta. Maria.

He made it clear that not everyone was required to help their relatives, but only those who were in need.

Binabalanse ang dalawang iyan,” he said.

Tandaan ang elements: Need of the recipient and the Capacity of the giver. If one is absent, no support is required.,” he added.

The lawyer also shared his thoughts on helping his parents, saying that he would still assist them regardless of their terms.

“If my mother is in need of help and support, I will give that support kahit ano pa ang past namin, good or bad, sa abot ng aking makakaya at ayon sa kanyang pangangailangan. Iyan lang po ang akin,” he stated.

Atty. Sta. Maria wrote the said tweet amid the heated discussion on the feud between two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and his mother, Angelica Yulo.

A gymnastics coach who was close to the Yulo family disclosed some of the so-called ‘red flags’ of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo’s girlfriend, Chloe San Jose.

In his Facebook post, Gerald Fajardo alleged that Chloe was the one who orchestrated the feud between Carlos’ and his parents.

According to Fajardo, one of Chloe’s red flags he discovered was when the internet celebrity sold her laptop to Carlos, but in the end, the latter used it.

– well in fact di ka naman nakapasa. Sumahin mo yung mga subscriber’s na nadagdag sayo after mong makilala si CALOY,” said Fajardo.

He also questioned why Chloe belittled Carlos’ family.

Kaya wag mong i down ang pamilya nya,” he stated.

Fajardo also claimed that Chloe opposed any reconciliation attempts between her boyfriend and his family, even saying that she would end her own life if Carlos do it.

The coach also said it was ironic when Carlos helped Chloe reconcile with her parents while the internet influencer allegedly broke her boyfriend’s family.

Yulo family publish ‘receipts’ against Chloe San Jose’s treatment towards Mrs. Yulo

The Yulo family finally published receipts against Chloe San Jose after the latter answered back to Mark Andrew Yulo’s plea towards his son, Carlos Yulo.

In a Facebook post, Gerald Fajardo, one of the close friends of the Yulo family, disclosed some of the screencaps taken at the group chat made by Chloe’s family, which showed how the internet celebrity tried to confront Angelica Yulo several times.

The first photo showed Chloe mentioning Mrs. Yulo several times and called her a ‘coward’ for not answering her messages.

Tokis namarnnn. Nag hahanap ng away sa posts and comments di naman pala kayang panindigan,” she added.

In the second post, Chloe was seen trying to compare the profession of Mrs. Yulo to her father, who’s an architect, and step-mother, who’s a chief accountant.

Chloe told Angelica.

As of writing, Chloe has yet to give response to Yulo family.

Olympic bronze medalist Aira Villegas received praise from the netizens after declaring that all her winnings would be dedicated to her parents.

In an interview, Aira admitted that she was inspired to work harder on honing her craft as a boxer to help her family.

“Gusto kong bumawi sa kanila, i-spoil sila,” she added.

In another interview, Aira also said that she would give all the winnings she received on her 2024 Paris Olympics campaign to her parents.

“Mapupunta lahat yan sa pamilya ko, especially my parents,” she said.

It can be recalled that Aira received P2-M from the government as part of the Republic Act 10699 or the National Athletes and Coaches Benefits and Incentives Act.

She also received a property in Tagaytay from the Philippine Olympic Commission (POC), a house and lot in Tacloban worth P6 M, and a brand-new vehicle worth P1.4 M.

Aside from Aira, another boxer, Nesthy Petecio, also received praise from the netizens after she vowed to help her family through the winnings she received from the Olympics.

Meanwhile, the two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, who received more than P100 M in rewards, was still not trying to reconnect with his parents.

Chloe San Jose made a response to her father’s boyfriend, Mark Andrew Yulo.

The confrontation started when two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo posted a photo of him before his visit to the Paralympic Games in Paris.

“Embarking on the journey to meet alike athletes that ‘started’ their impossible. I am excited to share more about my upcoming Paris trip to meet other Team Toyota members at the Paralympic Games!” Yulo wrote.

Mr. Yulo then published a comment to Carlos, urging his son to apologize to his mother.

This was when the situation turned ugly.

Chloe started her post by saying that she doubted that it was Mr. Yulo who wrote the comment.

She then decided to remind the Yulo family of how Mrs. Angelica Yulo allegedly told her son that she would pray for her defeat in her Olympic campaign.

Chloe even insisted that they apologized several times to the Yulo family.

Television personality Mystica couldn’t stop sympathizing with Mark Andrew Yulo, the father of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo.

Recently, Mr. Yulo went viral after he published a video of himself riding a bicycle to work.

In her Facebook post, Mystica said that while she supported Carlos’ decision to seek freedom from his parents, she still believed that the gymnast should help them.

“Mali na talaga ito. Kung ako si Carlos Yulo, okay lang na ihiwalay ang sarili ko sa aking mga magulang in order to enjoy my freedom,” said Mystica.

“Pero ‘yung titiisin kong makita na nakabisikleta lang ang tatayo ko inspite of the millions I have, hindi ko yata masisikmura at makakayanan ng konsensya ko na makikita siyang ganito!” she added.

Carlos already earned P130-M after winning two gold medals in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The gymnast never talked about helping his family and even admitted that he was clueless about how he would spend his incentives.

It can be recalled that Carlos accused his family of pocketing the money he received from several international competitions.

However, the Yulo family said that it was impossible for them to pocket Carlos’ money as their lifestyle remained the same.

DPWH admits that the PBBM administration has still no own flood control masterplan

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) admitted that President Bongbong Marcos Jr.’s mention of 5,500 projects was somewhat misleading.

During a Senate hearing, DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan admitted that the government still lacks a flood-control master plan.

According to Bonoan, the DPWH’s P1.4-B daily budget for flood control was only used for immediate relief.

Joel Villanueva. “Hindi rin nakatulong kasi pache-pache nga po,”

Senator Imee Marcos questioned how the government spent the budget on flood control projects without a concrete master plan.

However, DPWH argued that despite their tremendous daily budget, they did not have enough to form a master plan or buy equipment.

Lawmakers also questioned the P23-B budget DPWH requested for ‘feasibility studies,’ which the previous administrations had already performed.

It can be recalled that several places in Luzon suffered from floods despite Marcos’ claims about the 5,500 flood projects.

The admission made by DPWH shed light on the current action of the government to prevent a flood.
