Jim Paredes slams Duterte and calls the President a traitor and stup*d: “Do not let him distract you from China issue.”

OPM artist Jim Paredes slammed President Rodrigo Duterte and called him a “traitor” for being friendly with China amid the tension in the West Philippine Sea (WPS)

In his several social media posts, Paredes couldn’t hide his anger over the new friendship between the Philippines and China and criticized Duterte for letting the Chinese do what they want.

Paredes on Facebook, called the new criticisms of President Duterte against the Catholic Church as a distraction, saying that the real issue that should be addressed was the China issue.

“Don’t let him distract you from China issue. The traitor is playing tricks.” Paredes said.

He continued his criticisms against the President in his Twitter page, labeling what Duterte is doing right now with China as “treason”.

“Stop ranting against the church. It’s about China and treason, stup*d!” Paredes said.

Paredes even confronted a netizen who defended Duterte from criticisms on Twitter, saying that Duterte broke the unity between the Filipino people.

“Formation of the country is not just the President’s effort. It should be a collaborative effort of all the people of the country. All should be involve in making our country prosper. Kaya di umuunlad ang Pilipinas dahil sa mga taong mahilig magreklamo pero wala namang gawa.” Netizen Earl Canezal said.

In response Paredes said:

“Talk about formation. He is deforming it and unforming it by giving away our islands without even a complaint. He is a coward and a traitor. Maybe he should lead the people in putting their arms behind their heads and march behind him with a white flag.” Paredes told the netizen.”

He even called Duterte a “crab leader” for trying to destroy the reputation of good people.

“Crab leader. Sinisiraan niya and mag mabubuting tao.”

In his another post, Paredes also suspected that the increasing Chinese visit in the Philippines was intended.

“If you were a Chinese mainlander, would moving to the Philippines be a great career move? Tell me. I do not know the answer. I sometimes suspect they are here for other reasons. Not just employment. Your guess is as good as mine.” Paredes said.

Paredes is a known critic of President Rodrigo Duterte, he became infamous after he confronted a group of students showing their support to former President Ferdinand Marcos.

Former Bayan Muna Rep. Teddy Casiño dares an OFW defender of Duterte: “Uwi ka muna sa Pilipinas!”

Former Bayan Muna Party-list Representative Teddy Casiño engaged into a debate with an Overseas Filipino Worker who was defending President Rodrigo Duterte on the issue on the West Philippine Sea (WPS).

Last week, a Twitter page that made to support former Senator Bongbong Marcos posted a tweet against Casiño, saying that the former lawmaker only knows how to protest against other countries who wants friendship with the Philippines.

The tweet gathered the attention of Casiño and called a Pro-Duterte supporter “tangek” for accusing him of being a supporter of the Liberal Party (LP).

“Tangek, kami nga ang nagra-rally nung nasa poder pa ang LP.” Casiño told a Twitter user.

Another netizen also tried to criticize Casiño and told him that the lawmaker is silent during the past administrations about the issue of WPS, however, the latter told the former to do more research.

Meanwhile, a Jeff Juico, the said OFW supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte accused Casiño of being a paid rallyist, which didn’t ignore by the lawmaker.

Casiño challenged Juico to go back to the Philippines to know the truth.

“Ganun ba? Uwi ka dito sa Pilipinas para malaman mo totoo.” Casiño told Juico.

The next response of Juico is a lengthy tweet addressed to Casiño telling the renowned activist that he already went home and witnessed the performance of the Duterte administration.

He also said that during his visit to the Philippines, he realized that the rallyist are part of the countries problem.

“Nakauwi na ko at nakita ko mahusay si PRRD at kayong mga raliyista perwisyo sa lipunan, ilang presidente na dumaan lagi ko kayong nakikitang nagrarally, yun at yun sinisigaw nyo pero hanggang ngayun wala akong nakita na naitulong nyo sa bayan, malinaw hanapbuhay mu yan,” Juico told Casiño.

Casiño refused to reply on Juico’s lengthy tweet.

The debate Twitter battle between Casiño and Juico also reached Facebook and the OFW received some support from his co-Duterte supporters.

Some party-list representatives were being accused of being paid in exchange of their rallies, however, the said groups denied it, saying that they’re doing it for free.

But some netizens are not convinced on how they could finance their rally events and become jobless for a long time.

Duterte reveals that they’re ‘quietly’ investigating the deals of Trillanes’ parents in Navy

President Rodrigo Duterte slammed Senator Antonio Trillanes and Magdalo party-list Rep. Gary Alejano in his speech during the Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project Groundbreaking Ceremony on November 26, 2018, saying that his two critics only know how to destroy other people’s reputation.

Duterte questioned how Trillanes and Alejano passed the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) despite having poor values and treatment on their colleagues like former Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief-of-Staff Angelo Reyes.

According to him, people only voted for Trillanes and Alejano because of the unpopularity of former President Gloria Arroyo and they thought that the two former soldiers are ‘reformers’.

“Alam mo ayaw ko sa kanya (Trillanes) yung sinabi niya sa kapwa sundalo niya [na] PMA’er si General Reyes is trying to say ‘your honor may I allow to talk and defend my honor,'” Duterte said.

“Alam mo ang sinabi ng g*go (Trillanes) ‘no sit down you have no honor’, kaya sabi ko eto ugok to,” he added.

He also cautioned the people in voting the Magdalo group of Sen. Trillanes, saying that his group is not acting like former soldiers because of their bad habits.

“Sige boto niyo pa yang magdalo magdalo, nagkakalat lang sa mundo ang mga g*go, kita mo noong nag reunion sila nakahilera ang tanduay at beer sige inuman, yan mga sundalo ninyo?” he said.

“Sinira yung peninsula, tapos nag surrender, tapos matapang daw siya, sus Trillanes amoy kita,” he added.

President Rodrigo Duterte believed that the two coups launched by the Magdalo group are only for ‘show’.

He also mentioned again the alleged VIP treatment received by Sen. Trillanes during his cadetship in PMA and their investigation on the deals of the latter’s parents in Philippine Navy (PA).

“We are looking into the papers, we’re investigating quietly yung mga deals sa panahon ng tatay.. yung involve yung nanay niya and it can be very soon na lalabas yan,” Duterte said.

The President even suspected that Alejano might also receive the same VIP treatment in PMA like his colleague Trillanes while the other cadets are suffering from rigorous training.

“Ikaw PMAer ka, nasa opisina ka ng tatay mo kumakain ka ng peanut butter tapos yung mga classmate mo (naghihirap), kaya ka ganyan you acting like a spoiled brat,” Duterte said.

In September, President Duterte already mentioned the alleged corrupt activities committed by the father of Sen. Trillanes.

“Kayong mga sundalo bilib kayo kay Trillanes. Ang tatay niyan nasa serbisyo pa, siya nasa serbisyo… ang transaksyon ang karamihang supply sa Navy, ang nanay niya,” he said.

However, Trillanes denied the accusations of the President and asked him not to drag his parents from their political fight.

After President Xi’s visit, actor Robi Domingo declares: “Philippines not for sale!”

Filipinos warmly welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping to the Philippines this week. However, some famous public figures doubt the sincerity of China amid the West Philippine Sea Dispute.

The critics of the Duterte administration also questioned the deals entered by the Philippines with China and warned that the giant neighbor of our country would lure us to debt trap like what they allegedly did to some developing countries.

And it seems that even the actor Robi Domingo is also suspicious of China’s friendly action towards the Philippines amid the tension in the West Philippines Sea.

During the visit of Xi, Robi Domingo tweeted declaring the Philippines is his home and it’s not for sale, he didn’t mention China directly but some netizens already suspected that the actor’s tweet is a message to the Chinese President.

“Philippines is my home. Sorry, it’s not for sale.” Domingo tweeted.

“Wala naman binebenta eh.. If you are the President anu ang gagawin mo kung minana mo lang sa dating President yung pinabayaan nilang sakupin at ngayon malaki na naitayo nila sa tingin mo ganun kadali bawiin yun kahit sinabi nila di nila pinaniniwaan ang desisyon ng Tribunal.” Edz Jaurigue Barrion (@ilovedz20) told Domingo.

However, a twitter account with a name Dalai Llama (@ligawnakalat) rebutted the tweet of Barrion, saying that the debt-trap strategy of China is dangerous and the Chinese government might use the said style to gain an advantage in the West Philippine Sea dispute.

“Anong gagawin? How about, wag umutang ng bilyon-bilyon sa China dahil may history na sila ng debt-trap strategy? I-sisisi niyo sa nakaraang administrasyon eh at least sila may ginawang action. Walang binenta, oo, pero may collateral.”

Actor Jim Paredes also expressed his support to Domingo’s tweet, saying that “trolls” can criticize him, and urged him to be tough.

“I am with you. Trolls will say a lot of things. Be teflon. Don’t let anything stick. You are in the right.” Paredes said.

A netizen also challenged Domingo to avoid buying China-made products if he really wants to oppose the actions of the Chinese.

“Then don’t buy made in China! The wealthy families in the Philippines are Chinese. I’m not a Pro China but I appreciate any country helping us.” Robert Marion tweeted.

China has been accused of debt trap after some countries that borrowed from the Chinese government cannot pay their loans anymore, because of this, they were forced to pay in other ways like giving their natural resources.

However, an analyst said that the Philippines is smarter than what the critics of the government think, saying that our country is more experienced in managing loans.

“I don’t think mangyayari sa atin iyon, unless brasuhin talaga ng decision-maker,” Jay Batongbacal, director of the University of the Philippines’ Institute for Maritime Affairs and Law of the Sea, said when asked if the Philippines is likely to suffer the same fate as Sri Lanka.

During Xi’s visit, Philippines and China signed 29 deals including oil and gas development between the two countries.

Geopolitical expert on Duterte-Xi’s friendship: “Today was the greatest day in Philippine diplomatic history”

Geopolitical expert and Director of international politics website Eurasia Future Adam Garrie expressed his happiness after Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to the Philippines became successful and fruitful.

Garrie, in his series of Facebook posts, said that Xi’s visit in the country is considered as one of the most critical days in Philippine diplomatic history since 1946.

“Today was the greatest day in Philippine diplomatic history since 1946. It’s all thanks to Duterte. China’s door was open and rather than aim fire at the dragon, Duterte shook the dragon’s hand as an equal partner. Duterte and Xi’s partnership is beautiful.” Garrie said in his post.

Adam Garrie Facebook

He also praised President Rodrigo Duterte diplomacy after he avoided a possible war by making China open its door than provoking it amid the tension in the West Philippine Sea.

The expert compared Duterte and former President Benigno Aquino III actions towards China, saying that the current leader’s decision to respect its giant neighbor is the right thing to do.

“Diplomatically, China asks only one main thing from its partners and that was the one thing that Noynoy could never give: respect! Duterte makes fun of those who deserve it and is a master of sincere decorum around those who command respect,” he said.

In his last post, Garrie urged the netizens to vote to the allies of President Rodrigo Duterte so they can help the Chief Executive to implement federal-parliamentary reforms and to improve the ASEAN-China relations.

“Vote yellow for a country that becomes poorer, weaker, less respected, less dignified and more nationalistic. Vote for allies of PRRD who support federal-parliamentary reforms to help The Philippines continue its great progress. Before DU30 The Philippines was either pitied or ignored. Under DU30 The Philippines is in charge of shaping a new win-win era of ASEAN-China relations. It doesn’t get much better.” Garrie remarked.

In his lengthy article, Garrie concluded that the Philippines is “now a serious broker for pan-Asian peace and reconciliation.”

“By leading ASEAN’s push to welcome a new era of cooperation with China, Duterte is a man sought by China as their first among many friends in south east Asia while for The Philippines China remains the most vital economic partner in sustainable development and will. only become more important to The Philippines in coming decades,” he said.

“This win-win relationship based on mutual respect is not just one for Duterte and Xi but one of the ages. More importantly, it is one that the Chinese and Filipino people have awaited for decades,” he added.

Bato Dela Rosa questions why ‘Ang Probinsiyano’ now portrays cops as bad, rebels as good

Former Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa was curious why the ABS-CBN’s hit show ‘Ang Probinsiyano’ suddenly changed their portrayal to cops.

Dela Rosa, who showed his support to the said TV Program during his leadership in the PNP is also now of the government officials who are asking the same question, why the plot suddenly changed and the said organization are now being portrayed as full of bad people.

He also complained about why ‘Ang Probinsiyano’ suddenly making a good portrayal to the fictional rebel ‘Vendetta’ which in real life is like the New People’s Army (NPA).

“Nagtataka ako sa ‘Probinsyano’, bakit noong panahon na ako ang chief PNP, ang gaganda naman ng portrayal nila sa buhay ng pulis? Sinusundan nila ‘yung ating mga accomplishment sa war on drugs, ‘yung mga pangyayari,” Bato said in an interview with PTV.

“Bakit ngayon ginawa na nilang sindikato ‘yung chief PNP? Ang sikat ngayon sa palabas nila, ‘yung mga [New People’s Army],” he added.

It’s known that Bato supported the said TV show and even Coco Martin itself the leading actor of ‘Ang Probinsiyano’ boasted it to the media while defending his program against the accusations of Chief Oscar Albayalde, the new head of PNP.

“Sabi ko nga sa simula’t simula ay sila ang gumabay, sumuporta sa amin sa pagbuo ng ‘Ang Probinsyano,’ siguro nagkataon lang na hindi nagkaroon ng pag-uusap, siguro kasi lalo na ngayong tumatakbo na halos tatlong taon na mahigit tumatakbo ang ‘Probinsyano,’” Coco Martin said telling the media on how Ex-Chief Bato helped them.

Even Bato in 2016 praised ‘Ang Probinsiyano’ for boosting the image of the PNP.

“Maganda ang ginagawa niyo sa ‘Ang Probinsyano.’ Bumabalik ang kumpiyansa ng mga tao sa mga pulis,” Dela Rosa said.

Before, the leading actor Coco Martin is portraying Ricardo Dalisay an honest cop who wants to fight corruption, but as the story goes, he became part of the rebel group called ‘Vendetta.’

Last week, PNP chief Oscar Albayalde criticizes the said show, saying that the image of the cops was badly affected by its current plot.

As a response to the bad portrayal of ‘Ang Probinsiyano’ PNP decided to withdraw all of their support to the said show like using their facilities and vehicles from producing a scene.

“Dilaw vs Dilaw!” Atty. Jesus Falcis accuses Pinoy Ako Blog owner Jover Laurio of receiving P25,000 monthly from Kris Aquino

Attorney Jesus Falcis, one of the supporters of the opposition revealed something shocking about a pro-opposition blogger who received P25,000 monthly from the renowned talk show host and former Presidential sister Kris Aquino.

The revelation started when the brother of Atty. Jesus, Nicko Falcis has been sued by Aquino for allegedly stealing millions of pesos from the talk show host.

The lawyer, who defended his brother from the accusations said that unlike the other pro-opposition bloggers, he didn’t receive any money from a certain ‘crazy rich Asian’ referring to Kris Aquino.

“Baka ang narinig mong bayarang dilawang blogger eh yung isa. Kung yun, tama ka. 25k a month mula kay Crazy Rich.” Falcis said in his Twitter post.

Several days ago, some Pro-Duterte bloggers revealed that the ‘dilawang blogger’ being mentioned by Falcis is the owner of the pro-opposition Facebook page ‘Pinoy Ako Blog’ owned by Jover Laurio.

Sass Rogando Sasot also addressed Laurio on her Facebook post, asking her two questions about her alleged payroll

1. Jesus Falcis, the brother of Nicko who allegedly stole millions from Kris Aquino, claimed that a YELLOW BLOGGER receives 25K/month from Kris Aquino. Since, YOU are the only Yellow blogger out in the open, are you receiving 25K/month from Kris Aquino? If you’re not the yellow blogger Jesus Falcis was referring to, what can you say about Falcis’ claim?

2. Jesus Falcis recently said that Yellow bloggers shouldn’t comment on his brother, otherwise he would consider them as “crossing the line.” Why haven’t you crossed the line?

Sasot also said that Falcis might already be answered how Jover Laurio funded her paid posts on Facebook to promote her articles.

Laurio also released a statement on the accusations of Falcis against her, saying that she never received money from Aquino.

“Now I am accused of receiving 25k a month. For the record, she is my friend for a long time now. I just don’t talked about it, kasi ayokong madamay siya sa pambabashed sa akin. Ang mga close ko lang na kaibigan at kapamilya ang nakaalam ng fact na ito. Dinedepensahan ko nga ang mga kandidato na iba na hindi naman ako kilala, yung isang kaibigan pa kaya?” Laurio said.

“Wala akong natatanggap na bayad na 25k a month na galing sa kahit na sinong Poncio Pilato,” she said.

PNP orders withdrawal of assistance to “Ang Probinsiyano” after allegedly badly portraying cops

After Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Oscar Albayalde expressed his opposition on the bad portrayal being received by the cops in the top-rated nighttime program of ABS-CBN ‘Ang Probinsiyano’, the organization decided to withdraw all of its assistance to the said show.

In the memorandum posted by Jezreel Magpantay, a netizen who works for PNP, it showed that TDPCR told all members of the organization to avoid assisting the production team of ‘Ang Probinsiyano’.
It was confirmed that members of Police Community Relations Group (PCRG), Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) and production team of ‘Ang Probinsiyano’ already met on October 17 and 23, 2018.

The said representative of the TV show agreed that they would make corrections in their storyline to avoid portraying the cops wrongly, however, two weeks after the said dialog, ‘Ang Probinsiyano’ continues to paint the organization badly.

They said that ‘Ang Probinsiyano’ portrayed the PNP leader, other police officers and members of Presidential Security Group (PSG) as corrupt and villainous while making the fictional rebel group ‘Vendetta’ as heroic.

“This puts the PNP organization in a bad light and causes unwanted damage to its dignity and reputation,” PNP said in the memorandum.

While they respect the freedom of expression, PNP said that the portrayal of ‘Ang Probinsiyano’ to the organization is “unfair” and ”creates confusion on the minds of the youth who are viewing it”.

“There is a need to correct the situation,” the memorandum reads.

After seeing that ‘Ang Probinsiyano’ is not cooperating with the authorities, PNP decided to immediately withdraw its assistance to the production team of the said show, like using their “facilities, vehicles and firearms” and “participation of some PNP personnel and shots of PNP offices and buildings in some segment or scenes”.

“In this regard, all units, officers and personnel are advised to immediately refrain from assisting to withdraw their support to the production of the said Teleserye in terms of PNP resources like patrol cars, firearms, personnel, venues and other items and gadgets being used in the teleserye,” it said.

The memorandum has been signed by Police Director Eduardo Serapio M. Garado, head of TDCPR.

On November 14, Albayalde announced that the PNP will protest the bad portrayal of the cops in the said show.

“Masyadong hindi na pangkaraniwan na nangyayari and it gives us a bad impression actually. It’s a bit unfair sa PNP when you portray yung mga ganung activity that doesn’t really happen sa organization naming,” said Albayalde.

Meanwhile, the leading actor of ‘Ang Probinsiyano’ Coco Martin apologized to the PNP, saying that they don’t mean to badly portray the cops in his show.

“Honestly affected ako kasi hindi ko inaasahan na magkakaroon ng ganito,” Martin said.

“Sabi ko nga sa simula’t simula eh sila ‘yung gumabay, sumuporta sa amin sa pagbuo ng Probinsyano. Siguro nagkataon lang na hindi nagkaroon ng pag-uusap, lalo na’t tatlong taon mahigit nang tumatakbo [ang serye], so siyempre nag-iiba [ang kuwento],” he added.

He also asked the PNP to talk to them to fix the problem.

“Kay PNP chief, sana magakaroon kami ng pagkakataon na makapag-usap kami at makapagtulungan para sa ikaaayos ng lahat.”

Foreign Secretary Locsin slams netizen who criticizes Duterte’s looks: “P****** ina this is not fashion show!”

Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. despite being the top diplomat of the Philippines showed that he was still a human being and lost his cool when a netizen criticized President Rodrigo Duterte’s outfit at the 33rd Association of Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit in Singapore.

BlackHeart0902 on Twitter slammed President Rodrigo Duterte, saying that the Chief Executive should wear proper attire during the said meeting, he even said that Locsin’s outfit is better than his boss.

The netizen noticed that Duterte’s suit was lopsided in the photo, with one side raised above the shoulder.

“Sana man lang binihisan nila ng maayos ang Pangulo. This is an important summit, tapos ganyan. Mas mayos pa ang suot ni DFA Sec. @teddyboylocsin,” the netizen said.

The comment of the said netizen didn’t receive well by Locsin and started to use his favorite word on Twitter when expressing his disappointment or anger.

“Hoy, p*t*ngina, this is not a fashion show. Today I am going in rolled up sleeves barong kasi working sessions lahat. Sh*t. Nobody came in a tuxedo. Hindi sila waiters,” he said.

As of writing, Locsin’s tweet was nowhere to be found.

Locsin is known for cursing on Twitter even before he became a public official.

Most netizens also agree with the opinion of Locsin, saying that people should not focus on the looks of the President.

The President is known for being simple and hates wearing formal attire, that’s why his supporters understand that Duterte is not familiar with fashion.
