Because of another controversy faced by Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson, even her colleagues are now trying to distance from her.

But several netizens are very disappointed on the actions of PCOO against Mocha Uson after one of its official Philippine Information Agency  (PIA) Director-General Harold Clavite asked the latter to take a leave from her job.

Now, the netizens are questioning the competence of the PCOO if they really did their job like what they claimed.

Netizen Allan Peter M. Sinco, addressed PCOO on his post, asking if the Communications Office really did their job in informing the public about the agendas of President Rodrigo Duterte.

He pointed out that until now, only a few people were aware of the Build Build Build that even a pageant contestant in Binibining Pilipinas was not cognizant of it.

Sinco pointed out that PCOO failed to spread awareness on Federalism despite the fact that this is the advocacy of President Rodrigo Duterte since his first day of presidency.

He also said that PCOO also did not do their job in defending the President when he was being attacked falsely by his critics.

The big question is… Did the PCOO deliver their task of informing the public effectively and efficiently as mandated by their very own office? If yes, how come only a few knows about Build Build Build? Not even the pageant contestant knows what it is? 

Federalism is part of PRRD’S campaign promise, did you PCOO do something to have at least a teaser to ignite awareness since day one of Duterte’s presidency?  In fairness, Mocha’s video is somehow successful in creating consciousness among the masses. 

You cannot even defend the president when falsely attacked by critics.  If and only if YOU are effectively communicating what’s happening in the government, Mocha’s style will not hold any footing. 

Ayusin nyo trabaho nyo. SHAME ON YOU!

Meanwhile another netizen questioned PIA Director General Clavite for boasting that he did his job in serving President Rodrigo Duterte, while attacking Mocha Uson on social media.

Netizen Rem Jesus said that he even don’t know that there’s a Director General in PIA and he also asked Clavite if anyone from the masses know him, because he believes that Mocha’s contribution to PCOO is her ability to interact with the masses.

PIA…? Nagtatrabaho? Ano yon!? Meron pala Director General ang PIA? What have you been doing? Where have you been these last 2 years that you said you and your team have been working hard to support the President’s agenda? What have you really accomplished? Does anyone from the masses even know you at all? Sheesh,… PIA… ilan kayang masang Pilipino man lang ang nakakaalam ng ibig sabihin ng PIA at kung ano ang katungkulan at gjnagawa nila?

If one has nothing good to say about somebody else, it’s best that he says nothing at all.

Another Netizen James Penaflorida Amparo said that Mocha contributed a lot than the whole team of PCOO in spreading the agendas of the Duterte administration.

Mocha have done more to disseminate the achievements of the Gov’t and to defend the President compared to the whole work of PCOO. TP is right, Para lang kayong display jan!

Sam O. Umaga also became passionate while criticizing the PCOO for their failure to defend the President from bad publicity, while Mocha is doing it alone.

Presidential Communications Operations Office Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson and Pro-DDS Blogger Drew Olivar’s controversial ‘Pepedederalismo’ dance made the topic ‘Federalism’ became the talk of the town and even became headlines in different top newspapers in the Philippines.

Despite the criticisms received by Mocha and her blogger friend for their performance, netizens still believed that the Communications assistant secretary helped to spread awareness on Federalism.

Castro Teresa, a follower of Mocha Uson said that the publicity received by the ‘Pepedederalismo’ dance successfully made Filipinos aware of the serious issue about Federalism.

She said that Mocha has the ability to gather people’s attention which is important when someone is trying to spread information about an important issue.

Teresa also believes that Mocha is only one of the few government officials who can speak the language of the simple Filipinos.

The fan of Mocha described what the artist-turned-government official did as ‘magic’ saying that because of a simple dance, the Federalism has gone viral.

She also believes that ‘singing’ and ‘dancing’ is an effective way of spreading information to public.

On Sunday, Mocha Uson became controversial again because of their dance during their live gameshow in her blog.

Several Senators and groups criticized Mocha for being ‘rude’ about Federalism, saying that the said issue must be discussed seriously.

Presidential Sister Jocellyn Duterte-Villarica slammed Kabataan party-list Representative Sarah Elago, after the latter claimed that President Rodrigo Duterte performed poorly when on handling the labor and economic aspects of the government.

She claimed that because of the TRAIN law, the labor workers had more difficulty now in feeding their families because of the rising prices.

“Bukod sa kawalan ng trabaho, laganap ang kontrakwalisasyon , napakababa ng sahod, walang benepisyong natatangap ang mga mangagawa at malala pa yan sa tumataas na presyo ng bilihin,” Elago said in a press conference.

In response, the sister of President Duterte wrote an open letter to rebut Sarah Elago’s claim, saying that she’s still too young to know the problems of the country especially when it comes to contractualization.

According to Mrs. Villarica-Duterte, ENDO has already been a problem of the past administrations, and the President knows it.

As a representative of the younger generation in the House of the Representatives, the Presidential sister said that Elago’s arrogant attitude towards the President is not a good example to the youth.

She warned Elago that the latter should be careful in criticizing the President who’s more experienced when it comes to politics and public service than her.

She added that Elago, as a representative of the youth should show respect to the elderly like Duterte.

President Rodrigo Duterte entered politics in 1986 while Elago was elected as a lawmaker in 2016.

The plan to oust Davao Del Norte Representative Pantaleon Alvarez has succeeded and now former President and Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is now the new Speaker of the House.

Most of the lawmakers present during the session stood up to vote for Arroyo as their new leader.

Several hours ago, hundreds of lawmakers signed a manifesto expressing their support to elect Arroyo as House Speaker.

Davao City 1st District Representative Karlo Nograles called his colleagues who wanted to vote for Arroyo and several moments after the roll call, the session became full of applause and some lawmakers escorted the former President to the podium, where she took her oath as the new leader of the lower house.

The microphone at the podium was turned off as Arroyo was taking her oath.

While Arroyo is in the podium, Alvarez welcomed President Rodrigo Duterte at the house, giving confusion to some netizens.

Arroyo is now the first woman to become the Speaker of the House.

Some questioned if Alvarez is going to challenge the legitimacy of Arroyo’s takeover.

Five months ago, the calls to oust Alvarez started when Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte accused the former House Speaker of boasting that he could oust President Duterte anytime.

She also accused Alvarez of calling her as part of the ‘opposition’ for making her own political party instead of joining PDP-Laban.

The Presidential daughter warned Alvarez that he ‘messed with the wrong girl,”.

“Somebody should tell the President what you are doing. How dare you call me part of the opposition. Kapal ng mukha mo. You messed with the wrong girl.” Inday Sara told Alvarez in her social media post.” Inday Sara Duterte said in her social media post.

Netizens are expecting an awkward moment later during the third State of the Nation Address of the President, because of the sudden decision of the House.

GOODBYE ALVAREZ?

More than 100 lawmakers already signed the manifesto expressing their support to remove House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez from being the leader of the lower House.

Several hours ago, three lawmakers confirmed the move to oust Alvarez and Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte even called them to ask their support.

Five months ago, Inday Sara lambasted Alvarez for calling her part of the ‘opposition’ saying that he ‘mess with the wrong girl’

After that, rumors that Inday Sara wants former President and now Pampanga Representative Gloria Arroyo to replace Alvarez circulated.

The manifesto titled “Manifesto of support for Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo as House Speaker for the 17th Congress of the House of the Representatives,”.

According to the manifesto, the lawmakers believe that a ‘credible and competent House leadership’ is needed as there are many critical issues are needed to discuss.

“It is in consideration of these grave concerns that we believe, that the House of Representatives, and the nation, will benefit from the experience, competence, sobriety, the steady and unifying leadership of Former President and Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, as Speaker of the House of Representatives.” the manifesto reads.

In the photo published by Henry Uri on, it shows that the first lawmakers who signed the Manifesto include Quezon City 3rd District Rep. Danilo Suarez and Buhay party-list Rep. Lito Atienza.

Meanwhile, there’s some rumor that the seven members of Makabayan opposition bloc are set to nominate ACT-Teachers Representative Antonio Tinio as Speaker of the House.

Alvarez is not yet speaking on the issue.
