Gabriel Valenciano broke his silence after months of not giving any opinion about different issues in the country.

In a tweet, Gab took a swipe against someone who has the power to ‘persuade people through gaslighting’, saying that the time of that individual was already over.

“I haven’t been as vocal for awhile but I can no longer suppress my thoughts. I will just say this.” Gab said.

“Your power to persuade people through gaslighting your whole life has run out. What goes around will always come back around. Filipinos are waking up, you should too.” he added.

Some netizens thought that Gab was alluding to former ABS-CBN host Willie Revillame who was struggling right now because of the possible closure of his show on AllTV.

It can be recalled that it was reported that the management of AllTV included Willie’s show Wowowin in the flagship programs that needed to stop temporarily to prevent the continuous cash drain.

Revillame had gone viral because of his statement criticizing the netizens who were celebrating what was happening in AllTV.

“Parang natutuwa pa kayo na mawawala ‘yung mga programa na nagbibigay ng saya. Sana hindi ganon diba,” said Revillame. “Wag naman po sanang ganon, syempre you have to understand na nagsisimula palang po ang AllTV.”

The host also asked the netizens to stop involving politics on the issue.

A report also said that Revillame has been told by his doctors to quit temporarily from hosting because of his health, a sign that what was currently happening in AllTV was stressful.

Because of the increasing usage of e-wallets in the country, some people with bad intentions have already targeted mini stores by doing different modus.

Netizen Paul Ollie shared a video of a store owner who almost became a victim of a modus where someone would pose as a customer who wanted to reload an e-wallet.

The said customer wanted the store owner to send the money first before she gave the money.

Fortunately, the store owner quickly felt something was wrong, so she refused the customer’s demand.

According to the store owner, the customer wanted her to reload P10,000, so she became extra careful and asked for the payment first.

However, the customer didn’t follow the store owner’s request and started talking to someone on the phone.

The customer insisted on sending the money first, but the store owner refused.

“Wala naman akong nakikitang pera sa inyo bakit ko i-process? Baka mamaya i-send ko to tapos wala pala kayong pera diyan,” the store owner asked.

After several minutes, the customer left and just thanked the store owner.

Netizens already became suspicious of the customer and praised the store owner for being smart.

Donnalyn Bartolome gained a different reaction from the netizens after sharing her thoughts about pregnancy.

In a deleted post, Donnalyn encouraged the women experiencing pregnancy to avoid being insecure about the changes in their appearance.

“Maganda talaga pag binuntis. Kidding aside maganda parin kayo mommies. Hindi magbabago yun,” Donnalyn who never experienced pregnancy said.

Some of her fans reacted to her post, and some of them still felt insecure.

“Grabe sobrang ganda niyo po. Nakakainsecure po talaga, lalo pag tumitingin na ako sa salamin after birth,” the fan said.

The influencer told the netizen not to be insecure, saying that her fan may be more beautiful than her because no one wanted to make her pregnant.

Donnalyn’s response to the netizen received a mixed reaction from the netizens.

“Mommy isipin mo nalang binuntis ka. Sobrang ganda mo siguro. Ako walang bumubuntis. Parang talo moko sa ganda wag ka na ma-insecure diyan ha. I’m sure maganda ka. Smile ka na yiee,” she said.

It can be recalled that last month, her inspirational message encouraged her fans not to be sad about going back to work after a long vacation had gone wrong.

It seems that she was already careful this time to receive backlash again after she quickly deleted her post about pregnancy.

However, this time some netizens defended Donnalyn, saying that some of the critics of the influencer were already overreacting.

Lian Paz couldn’t hide her emotions after OPM band December Avenue shared their music video to her about single parents.

The music video of December Avenue’s song Saksi Ang Langit was about a single father who raised his daughter.

In her Instagram post, Lian said that she can’t stop crying after watching the music video.

“Iyak ako ng iyak kakatapos ko lang mag mass hearing a painful yet beautiful testimony and right after, God showed me a message from December Avenue. Thank you @decemberavenue for your message and your beautiful song! Praise God!” she said.

Two years after their separation, influencer Jon Gutierrez also known as ‘King Badger’ admitted that he was still in love with his former partner Jelai Andres.

Jon and Jelai were married in 2018 after several reconciliations because of their relationship problems.

in 2019, the two broke up after Jelai confirmed that Jon was having an affair with influencer Toni Fowler who became popular after the issue.

Jelai and Toni made their statements by streaming live video on social media that gained millions of views.

Jelai and Toni’s live video were one of the most-watched videos in 2020.

In 2020, they decided to reconcile again, but a year after, Jelai again accused Jon of infidelity.

Despite being separated for two years, Jon admitted in an interview with Mr. Phoebus that he still loves Jelai.

Currently, Jelai was being linked to her colleague Buboy Villar.

However, the two clarified that they’re only ‘special friends’ as they’re not yet ready to be in a relationship.

Ogie Diaz takes a swipe against Willie Revillame: “Wag mamalimos ng simpatya”

Television host Willie Revillame has gone viral on social media after his emotional appeal to the public not to celebrate the decision of the Villar-owned AllTV network to stop some of their shows.

During one of the episodes of his program Wowowin, Revillame who’s also an executive of the network expressed dismay to the people celebrating the decision of the management.

“Parang natutuwa pa kayo na mawawala ‘yung mga programa na nagbibigay ng saya. Sana hindi ganon diba,” said Revillame. “Wag naman po sanang ganon, syempre you have to understand na nagsisimula palang po ang AllTV.”

Revillame also urged the people to stop involving politics in their decision to stop supporting AllTV because people who were working in the said television network might get affected.

However, instead of getting sympathy from the netizens, Revillame received criticism and even reminded the television host of his reaction when ABS-CBN’s franchise got removed.

One of the celebrities who took a swipe against Revillame was talent manager Ogie Diaz referring to the said incident.

“Wag umiyak. Kung nung araw na kailangan ang luha ng pagdamay mo ay hindi rin naman naramdaman. Bagkus nakitawa ka pa. Kaya wag mamalimos ng simpatya. Kaya mo yan. Wala kang di kinaya.” Diaz said.

Some netizens posted the said video during an interview with Revillame with former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.

Taste Atlas receives criticisms from Filipinos after labeling ‘Pinoy Spaghetti’ as one of worst dish in the world

Filipino netizens couldn’t hide their disappointment after Taste Atlas placed three dishes in the Philippines in their list of ‘worst dishes in the world.’

On February 4, 2023, the online magazine released the controversial list that includes Filipino Spaghetti, Kinalas, and even the popular breakfast Hotsilog.

More Filipinos got affected by the inclusion of Filipino spaghetti because it’s one of the most popular dishes in the country.

There’s a big difference between Filipino spaghetti and traditional spaghetti.

Filipino spaghetti has a sweeter sauce compared to the traditional one.

It became part of many celebrations, especially birthday parties.

However, Filipinos questioned the methodology used by Taste Atlas to rank the said dishes and put them on the list of worst words.

Some even accused Taste Atlas of ‘Pinoy Baiting’ to gain the attention of the Filipinos and talk about their online magazine.

“I beg to disagree with those people who made the decision regarding Filipino dishes these people didn’t even consider how broad the culture we have had….I am a cook and having been exposed to international, European, Indian and Greek cuisine…, I can say that the taste not all but much of there food was much worst than our very own spaghetti!!!!” netizen Darwin Manalo said.

“Sus for sure nilagay nila yan kasi Filipino favorites yan. Gusto nila maging sikat sila kasi alam nila pag uusapan silang Pinoy so taas ung view etc nila. Tactic.” netizen Lexter Suarez commented.

“There is no such thing as worst food. Any food for that matter always has something to do with the taste or preference of the people who used to eat them for years. Nobody can judge the palate of anybody especially if the food was in existence for generations.” netizen Danilo Bagon Solis remarked.

‘Grabe ang abuso!’ Fast food customer criticizes for filling a water bottle with gravy

Netizens couldn’t hide their disappointment in a fast food restaurant customer who allegedly refilled his water bottle with gravy to take it home.

The photo taken in a branch of fast food restaurant KFC received negative reactions from the netizens, saying that the said customer was greedy and not thinking about the other customers.

KFC is known for its tasty and flowing gravy, but some people were taking advantage of it.

Some customers of the said fast food restaurant said that some branches already removed their refilling station or leaving it empty because of some people who were taking all the gravy.

If someone wanted to refill their gravy, they’re now required to ask the counter.

“Kaya karamihan sa mga refilling station ng ganyan ay tinatanggal na kasi marming mapang abuso at mapagsamantalang masisibang kagaya ng mga tao ganyan,” netizen Jordan Perez said.

“Dati sa Burger King unlimited din ang refill ng drinks.. pero dahil sa mga ganitong abusado na tao, tinanggal nila. Tapos mag rereklamo hindi umaasenso ang Pilipinas… Kasi marami saatin ang mapanlamang at nadadamay yung mga taong gumagawa ng tama… Some of the restaurants and food chains are being generous to us and tyring hard to give us what we paid for… Wag natin abusuhin..” another netizen said.

Until today, Toni Gonzaga is receiving criticisms from netizens and other celebrities that may start when she chose to support the candidacy of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Currently, some people were celebrating another loss to Gonzaga’s career as a television host after it was reported that her talk show on AllTV already held its last taping on February 3, 2023.

One of the people who posted about it was vlogger Jover Laurio who made a sarcastic remark about the ‘most powerful celebrity’ tag to Gonzaga.

Comedian Awra Briguela was one of the celebrities who liked the tweet from Laurio.

It can be recalled that many ABS-CBN fans criticized Gonzaga for leaving the network amid its franchise issue.

However, some Kapamilya fans also wanted Gonzaga to leave ABS-CBN because she’s a supporter of former President Rodrigo Duterte who were critical of the said network.
