Comedian Marietta Subong, also known as ‘Pokwang’ made a big revelation about why she got separated from her former partner Lee O’Brian.

In her Instagram comments, Pokwang replied to a netizen blaming her for their breakup.

According to her, she realized that for six years she was providing all of their needs without Lee’s assistance.

She even warned the netizen not to interfere with her private life or else she will also face charges like Lee.

“Nagising lang ako sa katotohanan na anim na taon kona pala sya palamunin at limang taon walang child support! Wag kana baka madamay ka sa demandahan namin,” Pokwang said.

“Hindi ko siya iniwan tanungin mo siya bakit ko siya pinalayas! Tanungin mo now na!” she added.

At first, Pokwang denied that their breakup was caused by financial problems but her recent admission confirmed the rumors.

“Una sa lahat walang third party, wala in all fairness kay Papang. Hindi rin pera, kagaya ng mga lumalabas na pera. Hindi ganoon, walang ganoon. Siguro napagod lang kami,” Pokwang said in an interview last year.

It can be recalled that Pokwang took swipes several times recently against Lee after the foreign actor was reportedly dating someone again.

“Nang makita mo pinalit ng ex mo. Huh? Akala koba ako na ang chaka? Bwahahahahaha ang cheap!!!!” Pokwang said.

As of writing, Lee has yet to give a response to Pokwang’s accusation.

The two were currently in a co-parenting setup for their child Malia.

But it seems that after the accusations released by the comedian, the two may not cross paths temporarily.

A video of P3PWD party-list Rep. Rowena Guanzon received thousands of views on social media after she was seen shouting and arguing with a tourist during a Fiesta in Cadiz City.

In a video, it can be seen that talking to Hiligaynon while pointing her cane toward the said tourist.

The congresswoman can be seen doing it several times to the tourist while the other bystanders were trying to calm the two opposing camps.

According to her, the said man according to Guanzon was drunk and was causing a disturbance during the peaceful fiesta.

“Tingnan nyo ito mga hindi taga Cadiz maki fiesta pero pag lasing, violent na. This man attempted to attack me, pinigilan ng mga kasama nya. Yho de fruta ! Nag sorry pero naka ngisi ang lasing.” Guanzon said.

She also claimed that the man also did something bad to her niece that caused her to confront him.

“Hinipuan ang pamngkin ko at binugbog. Sino ang hindi magagalit ? At matapang ha,lasing na susugurin pa ako. Sana hindi sya pinigilan.” the lawmaker said.

Guanzon even joked that she’s planning to bring not only a cane next Fiesta.

“Sinundo ko nga ang pamangkin ko because he asked to be rescued. Next year magdadala na ang ng ” dos por dos “ platoon hehehe.” she said.

The video received different reactions on social media and even criticized Guanzon for her treatment of a normal citizen.

Miss Planet Philippines National Director Wilbert Tolentino claimed that Miss Planet International 2023 Maria Luisa Varela received an advantage during the pageant held in Cambodia on January 29.

In a message he passed to the Entertainment News Portal, Tolentino said that Varela pushed to participate in the pageant despite his request not to support the said pageant after what happened in Uganda last November.

He accused the new national director of the organization, Miki Antonio of paying a hefty amount of money so the Philippines could win the crown.

“So, eto na nga mga Marites, Huwag po muna tayo mag diwang sa pagka panalo ang Miss Planet Philipines sa International stage ng MPI. FYI lang po guys, bayad po ang Korona ang na panalunan ng Miss Planet Philippines at alam na nya final Question. bago cya lumipad ng #Cambodia para sumabak ng MPI.” Tolentino said.

He also showed several screenshots of the alleged conversation with Antonio in the past, giving a warning to Tolentino about the CEO of Miss Planet International.

“Mukhang pera si Hailey of Cambodia siya ang me Ari nyan. Ako ang inoffer ko is 6 crows from Philippines ako nagpagw ang 6 crowns nung first edition. Baka perahan si sir Wilbert,” the conversation reads.

Tolentino also showed his message to Varela, giving her a warning not to go to Cambodia to participate in the pageant.

Another post by Tolentino showed alleged evidence that the questions for the Q&A were given in advance in exchange for money.

“Deserve mo etong post ko. Dahil bukod sa pag bypass nyo sa akin ng K*pal mong National Director si Miki Antonio. wala parin kayong modo at sobra kayong mabastos at kayo pa galit galitan.” Wilbert said.

“You must atleast mag pasintabi or courtesy call sa akin kung may pangarap ka maging Beauty Queen baka ma consider ko pa at gawan pa kta release paper agad agad. Sana inicip nyo rin yan bago kayo sumabak sa #Cambodia kung meron ba kayo matatapakan ng tao.” he added.

Wilbert also insisted that he’s still the national director of Miss Planet Philippines and not Antonio.

“Kaya kht balik baliktarin natin ang dokumento ako parin ang NATIONAL DIRECTOR ng MISS PLANET PHILIPPINES. Klaro po tayo?” he said.

As of writing, Valera and Antonio have yet to release a statement to the accusations of Tolentino.

Talent manager and businessman Wilbert Tolentino released a series of criticisms against Miss Planet International 2023 Maria Luisa Varela.

It can be recalled that Varela replaced Herlene Budol as the representative of the Philippines for the Miss Planet International pageant that was held in Cambodia on January 29.

Budol was supposed to represent the Philippines at the said pageant last November 2022 in Uganda, however, the pageant has been postponed and Tolentino called the event a ‘scam’ for the alleged treatment received by the other candidates including his talent.

On January 21, Tolentino who was the National Director of Miss Planet in the Philippines criticized the ‘unauthorized’ move by other officials of the said organization to replace Budol with Varela.

According to him, he decided not to send any candidates for the next Miss Planet pageant in Cambodia because of what happened in Uganda.

However, Wilbert claimed that he was not informed that other officials of Miss Planet decided to send another candidate to Cambodia even without his permission.

“Given the unfortunate circumstances that occurred during the pageant held in Uganda on November 19, 2022, I have decided not to send a representative to the new Ms. Planet to be held in Cambodia this January 29, 2023. I will be constrained to take legal action against any person representing to have authority to send a representative for the Philippines to Ms. Planet without my authority.” Wilbert said.

He’s also planning to file charges against the people who pushed through the event.

“With this in mind, I will be constrained to take all available legal actions to prevent the usurpation of my contractual rights under our Franchise Agreement. May this also serve as a notice to the public that any other person proclaiming to be authorized to appoint a representative for the Philippines in the Ms. Planet pageant is without merit,” he said.

The said candidate then won the Miss Planet International 2023, but it seems that Tolentino was still not happy with the new crown for the country.

Tolentino accused the candidate of having a bad attitude and was desperate to have a crown.

“Agree ako beautiful si Philippines pero Atechona si Inday. Uhaw sa Korona,” the talent manager claimed.

Influencer Jinky Cubillan also known as ‘Madam Kilay’ introduced her newborn son to her followers on social media.

Madam Kilay posted photos of Morty Solaire “LAKAS” Cubillan Deck’, her son with her foreign fiance Michael.

According to some netizens, Lakas has more resembled to his father.

Cubilan was happy that her fiance was active on taking care of their child.

It seems that the silent rivalry between Beauty Brand CEOs Miss Glenda and Rosmar Tan reached another level.

On their social media pages, the two most followed beauty product owners in the country announced that they’re going to hold a concert next month in the same venue.

Miss Glenda who owns Brilliant Skin Essentials Philippines told her followers that her concert titled ‘#Pinakamakinang’ will be held at Araneta Coliseum on February 7, 2023.

Several celebrities and guests will also perform during the concert including Andrea Brillantes, Mayonnaise, and Adie.

Meanwhile, Rosmar Tan who owns Rosmar Skin Essentials will also hold her concert ‘#ROSMARMASPINALAKAS’ at Araneta on February 27, 2023.

Glenda even said that she was ready to face Rosmar anywhere to prove that her products were superior.

The issue even reached the Department of Justice (DOJ) when Glenda announced that she was planning to file a case against a certain individual who was believed to be Rosmar.

Rosmar reacted to the possible charges, saying that her lawyer would talk for her.

Many Filipinos are dreaming of becoming an artist someday because of the high income being received by some celebrities.

However, Entertainment columnist Salve V. Asis revealed that Alden’s company didn’t earn any money from the concert because of the talent fee received by Ely Buendia.

According to Asis, Ely’s talent fee reportedly reached a whooping P80,000,000 which made the concert costly.

“Marami rin daw kasi sa nanood ng nasabing concert ay complimentary tickets though marami raw talagang bumili rin pero dahil daw sa mahal ng production cost, hindi diumano kumita ang mga producer nito,” Asis wrote.

Another promoter and investor of the concert said that they shelled out P275-M to make the concert happen.

Some fans of Alden and Ely questioned the report saying that if the reunion was a financial failure, there should be no investor to pay for their upcoming world tour.

As of writing, Ely Buendia and Alden have yet to give a comment if the reports were true.

After the interview of Bea Alonzo with ‘King of Talk’ Boy Abunda, the past statements of the actress against Gerald Anderson recirculated on social media.
