Ngunit nitong Pebrero 7, ang chef na kilala sa kanyang pagiging masayahin ay nakitang umiiyak sa unang pagkakataon ng mga netizens dahil sa nangyaring lindol sa Turkey na kumuha sa buhay ng libo libo niyang kababayan.
Sa kanyang video, makikita ang chef habang lumuluha at humihingi ng tulong sa mga netizens matapos ang nangyari sa kanyang bansa.
Nangako naman ito na ibubuhos niya ang kanyang panahon na tulungan ang mga apektado ng lindol.
Nangyari ang nasabing lindol noong Pebrero 6, 2023 kung saan ay umabot sa 7.8 magnitude ang lakas nito.

Political bloggers RJ ‘Thinking Pinoy’ Nieto and Sass Rogando Sasot finally directly clashed for the first time after taking swipes at each other several times.
Sasot made her first move and asked Nieto why the latter called her “underinformed” about the possible new sites for Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA).
She also challenged Nieto to use his ‘connections’ to ask Marcos for clarifications about EDCA.
“It has come to my attention that you said that I was “underinformed” because I don’t have access to government officials and therefore I don’t have information about the negotiations of those new EDCA sites.” Sasot asked.
“Please enlighten us with your government connections whether President Bongbong Marcos Jr agreed during the negotiations that those EDCA sites will be used by United States as part of its war theatre against China.” she added.
Nieto then responded to Sasot, saying that he already shared his connections to the latter.
“I was with you since 2016. I shared ALL my connections with you. Please enlighten me: with pretty much the same political capital and extent of political connections as I had, and arguably, far more formal education that I have ever received, why are you asking me to do something that you could have done yourself? Why are you unable to do it right now, so much so that you’re now asking me to do your bidding?” Nieto said.
“You’re formally trained in diplomacy. What happened?” he added.

The transgender blogger opposed EDCA because The Philippines might get involved in a possible war between US and China.

Cristy Fermin revealed that many showbiz reporters couldn’t hide their displeasure to Willie Revillame’s ‘panunumbat’ to all of them.
In the February 9 episode of Cristy Ferminute, the veteran columnist reminded the public that celebrities and showbiz reporters coexist for a reason.
According to her, celebrities relied on showbiz reporters to maintain their good reputations and keep their careers healthy.
That’s why Fermin urged Revillame to apologize not only to her but also to the other showbiz reporters he criticized, including Ogie Diaz.
She also urged Revillame to apologize to Gab Valenciano.
“Sana lahat ng taong nasaktan mo lapitan mo na rin, humingi ka na rin ng pasensya o tawad sa kanila. Ang puso ko, ang puso ni Ogie, ang puso ni Gab Valenciano, iisang hulma lang,” Fermin said.
“Lahat kami nasaktan, sana ‘yung gamot na inilapat sa puso ay sana’y gamot din na ilagay mo kila Gab at kay Ogie Diaz,” she added.
Fermin also urged the people surrounding Revillame not to mislead the television host.
“Wag kayong magsaboy ng gas, wag niyong ginagatungan ang kanyang galit. Alam niyo na nga ang boss ay may tatlong dila na kapag may mabalitaan lang ay kala mo ay pigsang pumuputok,” she said.
“Kayo dapat ang nagpapalamig ng kanyang ulo at tagapagpa-alala na ‘kuya wag mong gagawin ‘yan dahil ikaw ang masisira’ kayo dapat ‘yun. HIndi dapat laging ‘oo’. Marami akong kilala sa inyo na nagsusumbong sa akin, pero pagkatapos ng ilang araw ay nandiyan parin,” she added.
Cristy Fermin revealed that the name of the celebrity mentioned by Willie Revillame that the television host publicly criticized social media.
Revillame mentioned that he let the parents of the said celebrity live in his house during the wedding of the man he was mentioning.
He even gave a job to the said celebrity in the past.
“Nag-Ingles-Ingles ka pa! Naging kasama ka namin sa production. Kapag pumapasok ka, di ba natutulog ka? Papasok ka sa dressing room ko, ‘Kuya Wils, I cannot do this. You know, I feel so dizzy.’ May mga ganoon-ganoon ka pa sa akin.”

According to Fermin, Revillame was referring to Gab Valenciano.
It can be recalled that Valenciano became a director of Revillame’s show Wowowin.
Valenciano reportedly took a swipe against Revillame after an edited video of the host went viral.

Fermin told Revillame to mention Valenciano directly.
“Ang tinutukoy mo ay si Gab Valenciano, na anak nila Gary at Angeli na gumamit ng bahay mo.” Fermin said. “Wag po tayong magtago sa palda ng iba, wag po tayong magtago sa blind item, wag po tayong magpakaduwag na magsabi,” Fermin said.
The Valenciano family has yet to give a response to Revillame’s claim.
Cristy Fermin gave her reaction after television host Willie Revillame made a public apology to her.
It can be recalled that Fermin criticized Revillame when the latter reminded her of the things he gave to her including a condominium unit and a car.
However, Fermin denied that Revillame gave the said properties to her without doing any effort.
Revillame apologized, saying that he didn’t watched the whole statement of Fermin and only relied to the people who told him about the news.
On her February 9 episode of the show, Fermin said that she already forgiven Revillame.
However, she clarified some of the details said that Revillame yesterday during his apology statement.
“Lilinawin ko po na ako lang po ang nagmura sa kanya. Hindi po ako minura ni Willie Revillame,” she clarified.
She also asked why Revillame only apologized to her and not to the other people he criticized including Ogie Diaz.
“Yung mga panahon na ‘yun kung naalala mo Willie kung naalala mo pa, hindi ka pa masyadong malaking malaking artista ito panahon na kailangan mo ng espada na tutusok sa mga kalaban na nagbabagsak sa’yo.” Ogie said.
“Isa si Ogie Diaz sa mga mapaninindigan ko na tumulong na sayo ng pagkalaki laki kaya ‘yung 50,000 na isinumbat mo sa kanya, sampung doble mo dapat sinabi ‘yun kulang pa ‘yung half million kung tutuusin,” she added.
Fermin claims she saved Revillame from the lawsuit:
Fermin also revealed during the said episode that she saved Revillame from a potential lawsuit after pointing a weapon at a balikbayan.
“May tinutukan ka ng baril noon, pamangkin ni Rod Ongpauco, nagpa-blotter na, kakasuhan ka nalang at isasampa na, ginawa ko nalang magpakapal ng mukha at humingi ng tawad sa balikbayan at kay tito Rod.” she narrated.

However, she’s still thankful that Revillame quickly humbled himself and made a public apology to her.
A vlogger-teacher received a tremendous amount of criticism on social media after she shamed her students and even uploaded a video of it on social media.
In her post, @laagangteacher posted a 10-minute video of her lecture to students she suspected of cheating.
According to the teacher, the answer sheet of the two students she caught has the same correct and wrong answers.
She then talked to the students while wearing a microphone so the whole classroom listened to her.
The teacher even mentioned the name of her students and didn’t mute it before uploading.
Because of this, several netizens mentioned the Department of Education (DepEd) and asked them to end this kind of treatment of the students by some teachers who were acting as vloggers.
According to them, teachers should not upload how they’re handling the problems of their students and should settle them privately.

As of writing, the teacher and DepEd have yet to give a statement about the issue she was facing.
Columnist Lolit Solis couldn’t hide her disappointment about a certain individual who loves to remind people about the things they received from him.
It can be recalled that television host Willie Revillame went viral on social media after he said that he would name the people who received help from him, but now criticizing him because of the issue being faced by AllTV.
In her Instagram post, the veteran columnist and talk show host talked about the bad effects of telling people that they’re indebted to them.
“Isang bagay ang hindi maganda Salve pag nagkaruon kayo ng falling out ng dati mong kaibigan. Iyon magsumbatan kayo ng mga bagay na ibinigay nyo sa isa’t isa. Ang samang pakinggan lalo na at materyal na bagay ang pinag-uusapan o kaya isinusumbat. Kasi basta ibinigay mo, dapat tapos na dahil binigay mo na. Imposible din na magbigay ka na walang ginawa para sa iyo ang binigyan mo. For sure kaya ka nagbigay dahil grateful ka sa nagawa ng tao na binigyan mo.” Solis said.
Solis remembered Regal Films’ owner Lily Monteverde, popularly known as ‘Mother Lily’ who also warned people about taking back the things she gave to them, but people didn’t take it seriously because they knew that the producer was only joking.

The columnist then reminded her readers that they should stay away from people who love to remind others about the help they received from them.
She even called those kind of people as ‘worthless individual’.

It can be recalled that Solis asked her former co-host Cristy Fermin to tell Revillame that they wanted an iPhone 13 as a Christmas gift.

It seems that Lai Austria was enjoying all the publicity she received after her making a joke after meeting television host and actor Dingdong Dantes went viral.
It can be recalled that Austria received criticisms from the fans of Dingdong’s wife, Marian Rivera after the starlet joked about having a private video with the actor.

Ogie Diaz couldn’t hide his disappointment to television host and businessman Willie Revillame after the latter criticized some showbiz reporters and even reminded them about the help he gave to them.
During the February 7 episode of Wowowin, Revillame even said that he’ll name the said personalities when the time comes after he received criticisms from them.
“Hindi na ako matatakot sa inyong lahat, laban na ito kung laban. Masyado niyo na akong inaapi. Tirahin niyo ako minu-minuto, I don’t care dahil kayo ang may utang na loob sa akin, hindi ako.” Revillame said.
Diaz, expressed dismay over the statements of Revillame and he even warned the members of the showbusiness not to accept anything from the television host if they want to avoid being reminded of debt of gratitude.
It can be recalled that Diaz allegedly took a swipe against Revillame after an edited video of the television host circulated on social media.
The video made Revillame laughing at the closure of ABS-CBN due to lack of franchise.
Diaz said: “Sana, pagkatapos niyang manumbat ng mga naitulong at nagawa niya sa kapwa, gumaan ang pakiramdam niya. Nabunutan na siya ng tinik. ‘Yung wala siyang pinagsisisihan at pinaninindigan niya kasi para sa kanya, kailangan na niyang manumbat.

“At wag kayong tatanggap ng anumang tulong o bigay o pabor, kung ayaw n’yong masumbatan balang-araw.”
The host then revealed that he received P50,000 from Revillame but he quickly donated it to a foundation.
He also clarified that Revillame was the one who insisted to give the money.
Diaz also said that he’s not planning to replicate what Revillame did.
“Ha? Ako? Kung may isusumbat sa kanya? Wala. Hindi ko ugaling manguwenta. Hindi ko ugaling manumbat. Pag ginawa mo nang kusang loob at bukal sa puso ang isang bagay, nakakalimutan mo ‘yon as time goes by. Kasi nga, naturalesa mo ang magbigay at maging mabuti sa kapwa.” Diaz stated.

Meanwhile, Revillame apologized to Fermin after the latter received criticisms from the host.

“Alam mo, Sec. Sec, malaki ang utang na loob ko sa istasyon na iyo. Dahil din doon ho ako nagsimula at doon ako nakilala. Nasa puso ko pa rin ’yan. Kapamilya, Kapatid, Kapuso, bawat Pilipino nandiyan.” ani Revillame.
Ngunit dahil sa libo libo na ang nakapanood ng putol na bersyon ng nasabing panayam ay maraming mga fans ng ABS-CBN at kahit ang ilang celebrities ay binatikos narin si Revillame.
Nitong February 8, hinimok ni Revillame ang kongreso na sana’y magkaroon ng batas na magpaparusa sa mga taong nagpapakalat ng mga maling impormasyon upang manira ng kapwa nila.
