Andrea Brillantes captured the attention of the netizens again after she expressed her appreciation to her co-star and ‘Kuya’ Kean Cipriano.

In an interview, Andrea said that Kean always checks her condition and tries to up her mood.

“Actually, lalo na si Kuya Kean, lagi niyang sinasabi ‘O, kumusta ka? Galingan mo lang palagi, ha’. Lagi po lang niyang ipinapaalala sa akin na galingan ko lang; lagi niyang pinapa-brighten up lagi ‘yong mood ko. Si Miss Angel as well lagi lang niya akong kinukumusta,” she said.

While Andrea only expressed her appreciation to Kean, some netizens couldn’t stop themselves from comparing Kean to Daniel Padilla, whom she also called ‘Kuya’ in the past.

Andrea was linked to her ‘Kuya’ Daniel after the latter announced his separation from Kathryn Bernardo.

Some netizens even asked Kean’s partner, Chynna Ortaleza to guard the actor from Andrea.

“Chynna bantayan mo mabuti c kean,” netizen Aprile said.

“Nakuw! Nakakatakot yang mga tumatawag ng “Kuya” nayan,” netizen Marieflor commented.

Comedian Marietta Subong, popularly known as Pokwang, couldn’t hide her disappointment after discovering that her former partner, Lee O’Brian, was still in the Philippines despite the deportation order imposed by the government.

In her social media posts, Pokwang was visibly annoyed by the fact that Lee was still not leaving the country.

“Hindi ko alam ano pa hinihintay bakit nandito payang animan nayan?” said Pokwang.

A netizen then asked Pokwang why she was obsessed with Lee, which the comedian fiercely answered.

Pokwang also expressed her sadness that netizens were still criticizing her despite not understanding her situation.

She also said that she would only be in peace when Lee left the Philippines.

A digital creator went viral on social media after she boasted her response to an applicant who inquired about her job posting.

In her Facebook post, Daisy Borja shared a private conversation with the applicant, who asked for the salary of the job she was offering.

Borja asked the applicant to pass the required documents, but instead of following the instructions, the latter asked for the possible salary.

The businesswoman, who was visibly irked by the question, lectured the applicant.

“Wala pang isenesend na Documents at requirement sahod na agad tinatanong mo? Kapag ganyan systema ng utak mo sigurado d ka magtatagal sa lahat ng inaaplayan mo,” she said.

Borja explained that she did not want to waste her time dealing with undeserving applicants.

Talent manager Annabelle Rama couldn’t stop being emotional while expressing her love to her daughter-in-law, Alexa Gutierrez, who’s facing a serious health condition.

Influencer Antonette Gail went viral on social media after she made a sizzling performance during the first birthday party of her child, Baby Meteor.

On January 22, Antonette and her partner, Whamos Cruz, invited several celebrities and influencers to Meteor’s birthday party, which was held at the luxurious Okada Manila.

Comedian Pokwang couldn’t stop herself from visiting the personal page of her ex-partner Lee O’Brian despite the deportation of the American actor.

Lee showed a photo of him with his daughter, Malia, and his post gave him a message of support from some netizens.

Some fans even criticized Pokwang for being too negative.

“Kahit hindi na maka apak si Lee ni pinas, I’m pretty sure kunin nya pa USA ang babaing minahal nya sa pilipinas kung miron man.. at kung mang yari yon lagapak oli sa galit si pokwang… biniyayaan na nga ng dios na magka pera para my pambili ng pagka in anak nya.. dapat magpasalamat na nagkaanak at kayang binohay mag isa…,” the netizen said.

Pokwang couldn’t stop herself from responding to the netizen and even tried to make fun of her.

It can be recalled that Pokwang petitioned to deport Lee, saying that the American actor didn’t have any proper documents to work in the country.

She made the said move after discovering that Lee was dating someone else.

Christian Vasquez couldn’t absorb what a fan told him.

In his video, Christian was reading comments from his fans when he noticed a bizarre message from a middle-aged woman who confessed to him.

The 46-year-old actor’s eyes were wide open while reading the said confession.

Television and Production Exponents Incorporated (TAPE Inc.) made a legal move to prevent Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon from continuously using the title ‘Eat Bulaga.’

In the 53-page petition filed by TAPE before the Court of Appeals (CA), they ask for a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) to stop TVJ Productions from using the title.

It can be recalled that on January 5, the Marikina Court ordered TAPE to stop using the Eat Bulaga title.

According to Atty. Maggie Garduque, the decision made by the court was disrespectful to the jurisdiction of the pending trademark case in the Intellectual Property Office.

“What is needed is for the court to decide if TVJ and Ferre have copyright ownership over these audio-visual recordings of past episodes of ‘Eat Bulaga’ to rule whether copyright infringement and unfair competition are committed. The issue on trademark ownership and cancellation is irrelevant and off-tangent in this case,” she told GMA News.

TJV’s camp has yet to give their statement on the legal move made by TAPE Inc.
