Chloe San Jose defended herself from those who criticized her reaction to comedy queen Ai-Ai delas Alas’ separation from Gerald Sibayan.
It can be recalled that Chloe wrote a post addressed to her social media friends, but some netizens leaked it to the public, which gained thousands of negative comments.
“Back to you mamang, not make fun of your situation but what you do to others will come back right back at you x10 – it’s just the universe’s law,” said Chloe.
The post even reached Ai-Ai’s daughter, Sophia delas Alas, who challenged her to a meet-up.
CHLOE DENIED THAT THERE’S NOTHING WRONG WITH WHAT SHE SAID
The content creator said that her post for Ai-Ai was only meant for her friends.
She also denied that she was a ‘coward’ for not publishing her post to the public.
“Why didn’t I make the post public? Because I do not involve myself in other people’s private lives PUBLICLY (especially without understanding and knowing the full story) and contribute to you all’s clown and fake entertainment,” she said.
“It’s beyond my control that someone took a screenshot of what was intended as a ‘prrivate’ post… Now, let’s consider if I had posted it publicly. My caption was neither derogatory nor offensive in any way. So, why the outrage?” she added.
Chloe even took a swipe against Sophia who publicly called her out.
“Isn’t it actually more cowardly for people to discuss me publicly yet never address me directly in private, considering they have both the means and access to reach out directly The true courage, ‘matapang’ and meaningful discussions take place offline, not on the internet,” she stated.
Chloe and Ai-Ai’s feud started when the comedian reminded the content creator to know her place and stop interfering with her boyfriend’s family affairs.
Internet celebrity and entrepreneur Deo Balbuena, popularly known as Diwata, went viral this week after a series of photos of him showing his simple way of life were uploaded to social media.
Some of his followers could be seen posting photos of Diwata while eating simple dishes like Tuyo.
He could also be seen eating on the floor, which is a sign of not forgetting his roots.
It can be recalled that before he became famous on social media, Diwata lived as an informal settler below a bridge in Pasay City.
“Isipin ninyo bago narating ni Diwata ‘yung sitwasyon niya ngayon ay dumaan muna siya sa ganitong pamumuhay sa ilalim ng tulay,” a netizen said.
“Grabe ang hirap,” he added.
However, not everyone was impressed with Diwata’s actions recently, saying that he was only trying to enhance his image to boost the chance of the party-list he represented in the upcoming 2025 elections.
Diwata denied that he was faking his attitude and insisted that he was really a simple and very approachable person despite reports of him being snobby to his customers in the past.
Meanwhile, many people were still following his daily activities, which may be a good indicator that he was still relevant.
Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas’s daughter, Sophia delas Alas, confirmed that the Facebook account that dared Chloe San Jose for a meet-up was hers.
In an interview with Pep.ph, Sophia said that she only informed Chloe’s statement against her mother was not proper.
“Pinarating ko lang sa kanya na her actions are sickening. That’s it,” said Sophia.
It can be recalled that Sophia asked Chloe to change the privacy of her post against Ai-Ai to the public if she was brave enough to face the opinion of the netizens.
“Matapang ka? Public mo naman post mo regarding my mom,” said Sophia.
“Kita tayo sa Manila? Matapang ka eh,” she added.
Chloe thought that the Facebook user was a fake account, but because of Sophia’s confirmation, netizens again discussed the possible meet-up between the two.
According to Sophia, she would respond to Chloe when she was done with her vacation.
“Too lazy to respond Tito. I’m in Korea. I don’t want to waste my time arguing with her,” she stated.
It can be recalled that Chloe received criticism from Ai-Ai and told the content creator to stop interfering with her boyfriend, two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo’s family matters.
Chloe San Jose went viral again on social media after reacting to the separation between her critic, Ai-Ai delas Alas, and Gerald Sibayan.
On November 12, 2024, Chloe posted a news report about Ai-Ai and Gerald’s separation and even addressed the latter not to make fun of the situation of other people.
It can be recalled that Ai-Ai criticized Chloe in the past and told her that she must know her place and stop interfering with the family affairs of her boyfriend, two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo.
“Back to you mamang, hindi para pagtawanan ang sitwasyon mo pero ang ginagawa mo sa iba ay babalik din sa’yo ng 10x —it’s just the universe’s law,” said Chloe.
A certain “Sophia Delas Alas Bautista,” who has the same name as Ai-Ai’s daughter, wrote a comment to Chloe’s post.
“Matapang ka? Public mo naman post mo regarding my mom,” the internet user said.
“Kita tayo sa Manila? Matapang ka eh,” she added.
However, Chloe clarified that she was making sure that the one who commented was not a fake account.
“Before responding to your message here, I reached out to you on your personal IG to verify that I’m actually speaking with you – since someone mentioned this could just be a fake account of Sophia,” she said.
In the vibrant tapestry of Filipino culture, there’s a unique tendency to put a local spin on global trends. From dance crazes to culinary delights, Filipinos have a knack for infusing their own flavor into international phenomena. This cultural trait extends even to the realm of card games, where the globally popular poker has been transformed into a distinctly Filipino variant known as Pusoy Dos.
Poker’s worldwide appeal stems from its simplicity and accessibility, factors that have helped it deeply influence cultures across the globe, particularly in the United States. As the game’s popularity surged, it inevitably made its way to the Philippines, where it found fertile ground for adaptation. Drawing inspiration from its Chinese counterpart, Pusoy, the Philippines gave birth to its own version of poker: Pusoy Dos.
Pusoy Dos is a fascinating blend of Pusoy and another popular Filipino card game, Tongits. This fusion has resulted in a new, entertaining game that’s accessible to players of all skill levels. The game requires a standard 52-card deck and can be played by two to four players, with each participant receiving 13 cards. The objective is straightforward: be the first to eliminate all your cards or have the lowest card value at the end of the game.
One of the key differences between Pusoy Dos and traditional poker lies in the ranking of cards. In Pusoy Dos online, the card hierarchy from highest to lowest is 2, A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3. This unique ranking adds an extra layer of strategy to the game, as players must adjust their tactics accordingly. The suit order in Pusoy Dos card game follows diamonds, hearts, spades, and clubs, which is similar to its predecessor, Pusoy.
The game begins with the player holding the lowest card value (3 of clubs) discarding it. Play then proceeds counterclockwise, with each player required to discard a card or combination higher than the previously played card(s). Players can pass their turn if they can’t or choose not to play, with the game continuing until all players pass or someone manages to shed all their cards.
Unlike Pusoy or traditional poker, Pusoy Dos strategy allows players to discard just one card at a time, adding another strategic element to the gameplay. However, the hand rankings in Pusoy Dos rules follow a similar pattern to traditional poker, with Royal Flush being the strongest hand, followed by Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, One Pair, and High Card. Now you know how to play pusoy dos.
As Pusoy Dos gained popularity in the Philippines, it was only a matter of time before it made the leap into the digital realm. Enter GameZone, a prominent card game developer in the Philippines, which has created a digital version of Pusoy Dos pattern that’s taking the online gaming world by storm.
GameZone’s digital adaptation of Pusoy Dos online free stays true to the traditional rules that have made the game a beloved pastime in the Philippines. The online version accommodates two to four players, mirroring the flexibility of the physical game. Each round begins with players receiving 13 cards, setting the stage for strategic gameplay.
One of the innovative features of GameZone’s Pusoy Dos online is its betting system. Before the cards are dealt, each player contributes twice the agreed-upon bet to a central pot. This pot becomes the prize for the ultimate victor of the game session, adding an extra layer of excitement to each round.
The game also incorporates a visual reward system. A crown icon appears above the avatar of the player who wins a round, symbolizing their victory and potential to claim the entire pot. If the crowned player manages to win the subsequent round, they’re awarded a second crown and claim the entire accumulated pot—a significant reward for their skill and luck.
However, true to the unpredictable nature of card games, victory is never guaranteed. If the crowned player fails to win the following round, the opportunity to win the pot shifts to another player, maintaining a high level of competition and engagement throughout the game.
GameZone’s digital platform doesn’t stop at Pusoy Dos. The company has developed a wide array of popular card games, including multiple versions of Tongits and Pusoy. For Tongits enthusiasts, the platform offers Tongits Plus, Tongits Joker, Tongits Quick, and the latest addition, Super Tongits. The company has even launched an online Tongits tournament, free to enter for players familiar with the game’s basic rules.
For Pusoy fans, GameZone provides Pusoy, Pusoy Plus, and Pusoy Swap. The company has hinted at the possibility of a Pusoy-related tournament in the future, further expanding the competitive landscape for digital card game enthusiasts.
Beyond the games themselves, GameZone has introduced GameZone Studio, a feature that allows players to watch popular livestreamers as they navigate the platform’s offerings. This addition creates a sense of community and provides an opportunity for less experienced players to learn from skilled gamers.
The digital adaptation of Pusoy Dos and other Filipino card games represents a significant step in preserving and promoting Filipino gaming culture in the digital age. By bringing these beloved games to an online platform, GameZone is not only catering to existing fans but also introducing these uniquely Filipino games to a global audience.
As digital gaming continues to grow in popularity, it’s heartening to see traditional games like Pusoy Dos finding new life in the online world. The success of GameZone’s digital adaptations proves that there’s a strong appetite for culturally specific games in the global gaming market. It’s a testament to the enduring appeal of these games and the innovative spirit of Filipino game developers.
The transition from physical to digital has not diminished the strategic depth of Pusoy Dos. Players still need to carefully consider their moves, read their opponents, and make calculated decisions based on the cards they hold and the state of play. The digital format has, if anything, made the game more accessible, allowing players to enjoy a quick game of Pusoy Dos whenever and wherever they want.
In the end, whether played with physical cards around a table or via smartphones and computers, Pusoy Dos remains a beloved part of Filipino culture. Its digital evolution ensures that this unique twist on poker will continue to entertain and challenge players for generations to come, both in the Philippines and around the world. As it continues to grow in popularity, Pusoy Dos stands as a shining example of how traditional games can successfully transition into the digital age, preserving cultural heritage while embracing technological innovation.
Arnold Clavio’s issue with former singer Sarah Balabagan was discussed again by the netizens after the popular broadcaster talked about God’s law amid the Quad Comm investigation on the Duterte administration.
It can be recalled that Clavio said that people like former President Rodrigo Duterte have no place in a civilized society.
“Sa utos ng Diyos at batas ng tao, “BAWAL ANG PUMATAY.” Walang lugar sa sibilisadong lipunan ang ilagay sa kamay ang batas,” he stated.
“Lahat tayo ay binibigyan ng pagkakataon na magbago. At kung ginusto mo na manatiling masama sa mundong ibabaw , ang paghusga sa iyo ay nasa kabilang buhay,” he added.
However, some netizens reminded Clavio that what he did to Sarah was also against God’s Law.
In 2020, Balabagan admitted that she had a child with Clavio, which was a result of their secret relationship when she was still 17 years old.
“Inaamin ko po na ang ama ng aking panganay ay si Arnold Clavio, alam ko po na nagkasala ako sa kanyang may bahay,” she said.
“Alam niyo po simula noong nagkaroon kami ng relasyon ni Arnold ang payo niya sakin lagi ay ‘walang aminan, kahit anong mangyari wag kang aamin, napaniwala niya ako,” she added.
Clavio didn’t make any statement nor respond to Balabagan’s story.
Balabagan became one of the top topics in the ’90s after she ended the life of her employer and initially received capital punishment.
However, due to the efforts of the government, Balabagan only got a lighter sentence.
Clavio was one of the journalists who covered Balabagan’s story.
Former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson didn’t forget to reward Karl Eldrew Yulo after the latter won four gold medalists in the 3rd JRC Artistic Gymnastics Stars Championship in Thailand.
In a Facebook post, Chavit could be seen personally presenting the P500,000 reward to Karl Eldrew.
Singson believed that Karl Eldrew deserved to be rewarded for “showing hard work and determination to become the country’s next gymnastics sensation,”
Aside from Eldrew, his mother, Angelica Yulo, also received P1-M from Singson.
Meanwhile, Singson said that his offer to two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo was still open as long as he would forgive his parents.
“Honor thy father and thy mother. Kung anumang ginawa ng nanay niya, patawarin niya. He should be a role model (to society) dahil mataas na siya. Walang deadline! Kung patawarin niya nanay niya, may 5 million siya sa kin,” said Singson.
As of writing, Carlos has yet to give any response to Singson’s offer.
Broadcaster Arnold Clavio reminded his followers about the law of God amid the admission of former President Rodrigo Duterte that he personally ended the lives of several people.
In his Instagram post, Clavio also added Duterte’s statement, daring the ICC to quickly finish the investigation against him.
According to Clavio, Quad Comm and ICC were serious when it came to investigating the former administration.
“Kung nanggagaling na sa bibig ng isang aminadong mamamatay tao ang hamon, dapat nang kumilos ang mga kinauukulan,” said Clavio.
“Sa mata ng kanyang taga-suporta si Duterte ay bayani at dakila. Pero sa mata ng mga naulila at biktima ng EJK, malapit na nilang makamit ang katarungan,” he added.
He also reminded his followers that ending the life of someone was against the law of God.
“Sa utos ng Diyos at batas ng tao, “BAWAL ANG PUMATAY.” Walang lugar sa sibilisadong lipunan ang ilagay sa kamay ang batas,” he stated.
“Lahat tayo ay binibigyan ng pagkakataon na magbago. At kung ginusto mo na manatiling masama sa mundong ibabaw , ang paghusga sa iyo ay nasa kabilang buhay,” he added.
Before ending his post, Arnold also said that the former president cannot be arrogant forever.
Former President Rodrigo Duterte almost threw his microphone at former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV during the Quad Committee hearing on November 13, 2024.
During the hearing, one of the members of the Quad Comm asked if Duterte was fine with signing a bank waiver so the public could open his bank accounts.
It can be recalled that Trillanes accused Duterte of having millions of pesos in his bank accounts, which he allegedly gained from illegal activities.
“Anong kapalit sir?” said Duterte. “Sampalin ko siya publiko?”
Duterte could be seen shouting at Trillanes, grabbing his mic, and gesturing to throw it to the former lawmaker.
De Lima could also be seen trying to pacify her political nemesis.

Former President Rodrigo Duterte couldn’t contain himself from showing his reaction to the statements made by his political nemesis, former Senator Leila de Lima during the House Quad Comm hearing on November 13, 2024.
During the hearing, De Lima responded to the former President’s statements and insisted that Duterte knew her.
“He is lying na hindi nya kilala si Leila De Lima,” said Leila.
“Iba na kasi ang hair-do nya. Kaya di ko nakilala,” Duterte responded.
The former President could also be seen clenching his fist and making a punching gesture while visibly saying vulgar words toward the former lawmaker.
Duterte’s action received mixed reactions from the netizens.
