The suspect behind the disappearance of beauty queen Catherine Camilon didn’t impress the senators who were investigating the issue.
Police Major Allan de Castro, who was rumored to be the last partner of Catherine before her disappearance faced the senate panel chaired by Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.
During the investigation, De Castro repeatedly denied that he was in a relationship with Camilon.
“Nagsasabi po ako ng totoo, wala kaming relasyon, wala po,” De Castro said.
However, Dela Rosa believed that De Castro was lying to the panel.
“Nagsisinungaling ka sa harapan ko… wala kang ebidensya na hindi kayo magboyfriend, na hindi mo siya (Camilon) girlfriend. I’m not satisfied with your explanation,” Dela Rosa said.
As a result, the senator cited De Castro for contempt.
It can be recalled that even the Camilon family admitted that De Castro had a relationship with the beauty queen.
De Castro already had a wife during his alleged affair with Camilon.
“AKO ANG KAPATID AT AKO ANG NAGSASABI NG TOTOO, MALAKING KAHIHIYAN ANG ISSUE NA ITO PERO HINDI KO KAHIT KAILAN ITINANGGI SA MGA TAO ANG PAGKAKAMALI NG KAPATID KO, DAHIL YUN ANG TOTOONG GINAWA NYA, AT KITA KO NAMAN SA MGA EBIDENSYA!! SA TOTOO LANG DAPAT NGA NILALABAS NIYO NA PANGALAN AT MUKHA NUNG PERSON OF INTEREST, PERO HINDI NIYO MAGAWA,” Chin-chin Camilon said.
