Tuesday Vargas reacted to the Duterte-Marcos rift by mentioning the candidate she supported last presidential elections, former Vice President Leni Robredo.
In her post, Tuesday took a swipe against the supporters of the two powerful families, asking them why they’re having a feud.
“Ang nanay namin maganda na, mabait pa, mahusay pa!” said Tuesday. “Bakit ang tatay n’yo, mga ate, at kuya, nag-aaway? Tsk tsk tsk. Chill,”
“Huwag tayong magpalito. Ang away na ito ay hindi prioridad sa oras na ito. Madmaing kailangang asikasuhin para sa bansa. Ito pa talagang family feud nila ang unahin natin? Hayyy, Pilipinas,” she added.
Some netizens also expressed their support for Robredo.
“Siya na lang yung hindi tumigil na tumulong sa mga Pilipino kahit tapos na ang eleksiyon. Asan na yung ibang kung ano anong mabubulaklak na salita pinagbabanggit nung kampanya,” netizen Jake Crisostomo said.
However, others questioned why Robredo suddenly got involved in the issue.
“Saan banda po siya mahusay ate? Tsaka ilang buhay na po ang talagang umangat? Yung talagang tumaas ang antas ng pamumuhay. Update pls,” netizen Van remarked.
It can be recalled that former President Rodrigo Duterte and his family criticized President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos for allegedly pushing the constitutional change via the controversial People’s Initiative.
Meanwhile, Marcos also retaliated against his predecessor, hinting that the former chief executive was not sound anymore due to the medicine he was taking.
