Current Eat Bulaga host Paolo Contis met with former Dabarkads Jimmy Santos in Australia.
They were at Penguin Island, Tasmania, to tape their upcoming project. together with Kaye Abad and Patrick Garcia.
In an interview with Pep.ph, Paolo said that he was only with Jimmy because of their project and not because he was trying to invite him to become a host again of Eat Bulaga.
The controversial actor also said that he’s not really trying to talk to the veteran host about Eat Bulaga, because of the issues surrounding their show and Jimmy’s long-time colleagues Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.
It can be recalled that Jimmy made his last appearance on the show in 2021.
After his Eat Bulaga hosting, Jimmy started an educational vlog, trying different jobs and exploring factories to give valuable information to his fans.
Aside from vlogging, Jimmy was also busy managing his business, using the money he earned from showbiz to build a restaurant.
His vlog received praise from the netizen because of its niche.
Jimmy didn’t disclose why he left the show, but some fans believed it was possibly related to his old age.
