Content creator, nawalan ng P69-M dahil sa pagkagumon sa sugal

A content creator couldn’t stop being emotional as he narrated how he lost all his fortune because of his addiction to gambling.

In a video, Awit Cruz, popularly known as Awit Gamer, apologized to all his friends, especially to those to whom he owed money, and admitted that he lost P69-M to his gambling addiction.

His addiction started when his P400,000 became P6-M in just two hours of playing.

“Kinabukasan bumalik ako hanggang nanalo po ako ng 12 million. Hanggang sa naging VIP ako, naging black card,” he said.

“Hanggang sa sobrang natalo ako, halos nasa 55 million at sa iba pa. Masasabi kong higit sa 69 million lahat ng napatalo ko,” he added.

Awit gained support from his followers, and even some of his friends told him that they would give him enough time to recover and pay his debts.

While there was no data on how many Filipinos are addicted to gambling, it was estimated that more people were hooked on it because of the policies of the current government, which allowed advertising of gambling-related products.
