There were reports that Meiko Montefalco was preparing to file charges against her husband, Patrick Bernardino, after she caught him cheating.
In a Facebook post, Meiko already vowed that Patrick was not the only one who would face the consequences of the latter’s action, but also his friends.
“IDADAMAY KO KAYONG LAHAT. Kayong mga kaibigan ng palamunin kong asawa na ang lalakas ng loob tumingin at humarap sa akin kahit alam niyo kababuyan ng asawa ko. Umapak sa pamamahay ko. Tumanggap ng panglilibre ko. May araw kayo,” she stated.,
It’s not yet known what charges Meiko was planning to file against Patrick, but many netizens speculated that the latter would face a concubinage case.
Concubinage punishes the husband with 6 months and 1 day to four years, and 2 months maximum.
It can be recalled that Meiko revealed that she gathered substantial evidence to prove that her husband was cheating, and even Patrick’s friends were allegedly encouraging it.
Meiko, who said that she almost caught Patrick in the past, was not happy that her husband wasted the second chance she gave.
“Asawang walang alam at naniwala sa mga palusot at kasinungalingan. I didn’t have enough evidence to prove that he really did cheat. I did not know the extent of his sin. All in the name of marriage and our kids, I forgave,” she said.
