The child of Sen. Jinggoy Estrada was reportedly rushed to the hospital after being ganged up on by three individuals during their vacation in Boracay.
According to local media reports, the incident happened in Boracay Station 2 on May 24 at around 2:00 a.m., while the victim was walking to his hotel from a bar located in D’Mall.
The suspects were identified as James Jason, Dwyne Delos Santos, and Khenjie Duimalaog, who were locals of the island.
The initial investigation found that the victim was suddenly confronted by one of the suspects.
When the friends of the victim tried to stop the fight, the other suspects had already joined the commotion.
As of this writing, the suspects’ motives are not known.
It’s also not yet revealed whether the suspects knew the victim’s identity.
It can be recalled that the incident was the second issue faced by the Estrada family while on vacation in Boracay. The first one was the complaint made by the senator’s wife, Precy Vitug-Ejercito, who called out their hotel after she found a cockroach in her room.
