Motovlogger Yanna Aguinaldo was expected to face thousands of pesos in fines and suspension of her license after she refused to surrender her motorcycle to the authorities.
According to the reports, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) fined Aguinaldo P7,000 for reckless driving and riding a motorcycle without side mirrors.
Aside from fines, her driver’s license was also suspended.
It can be recalled that Aguinaldo went viral after she published her argument with a motorist.
“This noncompliance not only violates the instructions mandated by this Office but also demonstrates outright disrespect for established legal procedures and regulatory enforcement. The failure to appear as ordered underscores a lack of regard for due process, accountability, and the authority vested in this Office,” according to the decision released by LTO.
“By refusing to present both the registered owner and the motorcycle for inspection, the concerned party has obstructed investigative proceedings, delayed efforts to establish responsibility, and undermined the integrity of enforcement measures,” they added.
In addition to the charges from LTO, she was also charged by Pascua for uploading the video of their argument without his permission.
As of writing, Aguinaldo’s camp has yet to give any comment on the decision made by LTO.
