A friend of club DJ Jellie Aw narrated the events following the maltreatment the former received from her fiance, Jam Ignacio.
It can be recalled that photos of Jellie after the alleged maltreatment circulated on social media, showing the bruised and swollen face of the DJ.
According to one of Jellie’s friends, the maltreatment started when the two argued about a still undisclosed reason.
Jam was allegedly drunk and driving when the incident happened.
“Nung nakainom na si Jam, siguro sa sobrang pikon niya po kay Jellie, pagdating daw po sa sasakyan, pinagsasapak na siya, binugbog na siya. Binugbog siya, talagang wala nang palag si Jellie,” the source said.
Jellie was not supposed to leave the car, but an error while they were crossing the expressway gave an opportunity for the DJ to escape.
“Pagdating sa toll gate, nagsisisigaw po si Jellie daw at nakahingi po siya ng tulong. Doon na po lumabas [ng sasakyan] si Jam Ignacio. Nagtatakbo na po siya,” they added.
Until today, Jam, who was expected to face serious charges, has yet to be found.
