However, Arguelles eventually succumbed to his injuries, which some netizens blamed on a woman who volunteered to give first aid to the moto vlogger.

In a video taken just before the aftermath of the Superman stunt, Arguelles could be seen lying on the road when some people tried to check his condition.

Several moments later, a woman could be heard asking the crowd not to touch Arguelles and introduced herself as a nurse.

“Nurse ako! Wag niyong galawin,” the woman said.

They also removed Arguelles’ helmet and tapped him several times in an attempt to wake him up.

However, several netizens and even medical personnel criticized the woman’s acts and even questioned if she was a nurse.

Netizens pointed out that the woman was wrong for removing the helmet of Arguelles and even her decision to force the rider to sit.

“The goal is to stabilize the patient by immobilizing him and not allow unnecessary spine movements. Make sure his airways are open and monitor his vital signs,” netizen Ronaldo said.

“A concern arises regarding her decision to move and seat the victim, which may not have been the most appropriate action. In trauma situations, especially those involving potential spinal or internal injuries, it is generally advised to minimize movement until trained medical personnel arrive,” netizen Ruel commented.

Meanwhile, Arguelles’ colleague, Recs Akmad, who remained still after the incident, survived.
