Showbiz Love Team Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings were facing a career disaster after their alleged affair was exposed by Jam Villanueva, the ex-girlfriend of the latter.
On December 3, 2024, Jam published several screenshots of some conversation between Anthony and Maris, which she documented while in a relationship with the actor.
“I just need to share the truth. There’s only so much silence a person can bear when rumors twist the truth. I’m sharing this because I need to set the record straight – not to create more drama, but because I deserve to be heard, just like anyone else,” said Jam.
A PR DISASTER
As Filipinos were not supportive of artists who had a history of cheating, Maris and Anthony’s projects were in danger of not being supported.
Some netizens have already expressed a boycott of all Maris and Anthony projects.
“Talaga palang manloloko Ang dalawang maglove team na Yan. Dapat di na tangkilikin ang mga produktong iniindorao nila. Di sila dapat pamarisan. Nakakasuka yang Anthony Jennings at Maris Racal na Yan,” netizen Johnwayne said.
“Maris is so insensitive wlang pki alam may nasasaktan syang babae at ka relasyun pa naman Ng taong nilalandi nya!!!” netizen Donna commented.
As of writing, Maris and Anthony have yet to give any response to the issue they were facing.
