Footage showing the leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, before his surrender to the authorities was published on social media.
In the video taken by one of his followers, Quiboloy is seen talking to the leaders of KOJC when he jokingly said that Senator Risa Hontiveros is also outside his place.
“Si Risa Hontiveros andiyan,” said Quiboloy.
“Sino Pastor?” the follower asked.
“Yung kaibigan natin, gusto ko imbitahan ko siya dito. May pag-uusapan kaming magandang batas, na dapat kapag may asawa ka wag kang papatol sa iba,” the pastor responded before leaving the vicinity.
Quiboloy didn’t elaborate on his statements about Hontiveros, who’s already a widow since 1995.
It can be recalled that Hontiveros led the investigation into Quiboloy’s alleged illegal activities while leading his religious group, which had millions of members worldwide.
Netizens were expecting Hontiveros to ask for clarification on Quiboloy’s statement during his upcoming appearance in the Senate.
