While Mrs. Angelica Yulo was holding a press conference, her son, Carlos Yulo, and his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, enjoyed the culinary experience in France.
In a Facebook post, Chloe San Jose shared some photos taken during their date at one of Paris’ most popular restaurants, Le Brebant Paris, to celebrate the two-gold medal finish of the Filipino gymnast.
Chloe ordered a 1/2 Homar Blue Grille grillé a la plancha, which cost 38 euros (2,400 PHP).
Caloy ordered a juicy Steak haché, which reportedly cost 22 euros (1,380).
They also ordered some steak, and salad to complete their dish.
“Food trip! Us and Parisian food against the world,” Chloe wrote.
However, some netizens still couldn’t stop themselves from being skeptical of Chloe, saying that while Carlos’ family was living simply, she decided to eat a luxurious dish.
“Mother knows best talaga kung ganito naman kagarapal talaga ang mamanungangin niya.Looks transgender talaga sya eh. Paano niyo nalulunok pagkain gayong dapat family ni carlos ang kasama niya dyan at di ikaw gatungerang palaka,” netizen Maria said.
