An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) asked the netizens to trace the location of the Filipina who suddenly left her host family in the Netherlands to reportedly work in Spain.

In her Facebook post, Zhel Velasco, a Netherland-based OFW who assisted April Joyce Briones in finding a host family as an Au Pair in Amsterdam, aired her disappointment to the Filipina for escaping to Spain in just two weeks of her stay.

She offered a P30,000 reward to the Filipinos in Spain to locate the Briones and deport her back to the Philippines.

“Tinakasan nya po yung host family nya na kumuha sakanya dito sa pinas. Napakabait ng host family nya sakanya,” she said.

“Hindi po deserve ng katulad nya manirahan sa EUROPE gayong wala po talaga syang pakialam kahit sino ang maargabyado nyang tao,” she added.

Velasco also posted some parts of her conversation with Briones, who complained about the food and how her host had tasked her with using the vacuum to clean their house.

However, the family host debunked the complaint, saying they bought rice to accommodate Briones’s needs.

She also posted evidence that Briones planned to escape her host family to work in Spain.

“Tuso-tuso lang yan bii,” Briones told her friend.

As of writing, the Philippine Embassy in Madrid has yet to give a statement on the issue.
